I have always found the staff helpful when I have gone into the store, but today I had a delivery - just a small order - and the delivery driver was very helpful, told me when he was en route etc. VERY impressed indeed!

I contacted the Loughton store to ask about a new bathroom. Ajay the designer came round, and talked through what I was thinking of. I went into store to discuss the designs she had made, and decided immediately that this was the company I wanted to do my bathroom. Ajay understood exactly what I wanted and created some fabulous options. She described the whole process and made everything so straightforward and easy. The fitter they instructed was Kerry, and I couldn’t be more delighted with the process and finished result. He arrived on time, worked cleanly and described every bit of extra work needed before going ahead (some things are not known until the old bathroom is taken out). He is a perfectionist and extremely skilled tradesman. The delivery of the bathroom components was seamless - all aspects coordinated to be delivered on a convenient day for me.
I have given 5 stars for the Loughton Store. I considered dropping a star due to central processes and aftercare…I had to struggle to get the rubbish collected after the job was finished as this went to waste management and out of Loughton’s hands. Ajay and Kerry did help me with this too! So in future I would want a skip on the road, not a giant bag actually on my property which the waste management company partially emptied a couple of times, reporting the collection as complete.
But overall I would still 100% recommend Wickes, I think I was just a bit unlucky to be caught in clunky central processes.

I visited Wickes Loughton to review and options and plan a new kitchen.
I was assisted greatly in this endeavor by Design Consultant Ajay Yadav. Here style of customer facing communication was exemplary. Her technical knowledge around the options on required appliances and how they could best fit into the installation process provided much reassurance to this customer. Advice and guidance was provided on payment options and Ms Yadav advised that l could always contact if l needed further advice or had any concerns. All together a reassuring purchasing experience.

Visited this store on 21 April and brought 6 bags of postcrete whilst pushing the trolley in the car park a very polite and friendly member of staff by the name of Michael asked if I would like him to put them in my car which I accepted gratefully. Michael was very friendly and very polite and he carefully put all the bags in the back of my car. All the members of staff are friendly and very helpful. Thank you Michael for helping me.

Alfie at the Loughton branch, is a testament to customer service and ever so approachable. In fact most of the staff at the Loughton store are pretty good. Alfie helped with my query and made sure all was good. Great attitude and i commend him for it. A good barometer for others. Thank you

I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Miss Sophia at Wickes in Loughton, and I felt it was important to recognise the outstanding service she provided. From the moment I approached her, she was both professional and genuinely friendly, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Sophia went above and beyond what was expected, taking the time to fully understand what I needed and ensuring I left with the right information and products. Nothing felt like too much trouble for her, and her willingness to help truly stood out.

It’s rare to come across such a high level of customer service, and she is a real credit to the team. Thank you, Sophia, for your excellent support it made a big difference.

I went to the Loughton Essex branch of Wickes today and was disappointed and shocked at the language used by the store manager.

She was heard swearing and running down other members of the team very loudly knowing I was not even 2 foot away for her.

It was extremely unprofessional,
The concerning thing was she just carried on in the aisle when I was right next to her telling the person on the line (who in believe was a co worker) who the person was for not pulling thier weight, running down the company itself. I shop in wickes on a regular basis and most of the staff including Ron are extremely helpful..

Ajay was our kitchen designer at the Loughton store. Ajay was very professional and helpful with the design she gave great advice when we explained what we wanted. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ all the way very pleased with my kitchen 🙂

Bought a new fitted kitchen from Wickes Loughton. The designer, Ajay Yadav, was super helpful and endlessly patient. She designed my kitchen perfectly and was on hand from start to finish to answer all my questions. The very experienced fitter, Lucasz, was very efficient, fast and reliable. I’ve actually had a previous kitchen and bathroom designed by Ajay and fitted by Lucasz, so I knew how good they both are.
I wish I could say the same about the Wickes “customer service” team, they were inept and less than helpful, bringing my rating down to four stars.

Been coming to this wickes for years now and very often leave happy with the service and products.

I would like to commend the level of service that I experienced with Operations Manager Haroon at the Loughton store of Wickes. Haroon took the time to show me the products I was looking for, and provided advice on the various products. He did this with a level of patience and good humour that is unfortunately quite uncommon these days. I would nominate Haroon for your Employee of the Month award, if you have one.

I've bought many sheets of plywood from Wickes over the years. Generally the quality has been ok but not this time. I recently bought 2 sheets of 8x4 6mm plywood. Within 2 days, one of the sheets had curled like a banana. I've been trying for 2 weeks to get a replacement or a refund without any joy. Customer service responded saying they were looking into it. Several chasing emails later and it's gone nowhere. I've wasted my money and wasted a whole lot of time trying to have the situation redressed. Appalling customer service.

I am disabled and I went into this store to purchase 2 bags of gravel stones. I was unable to collect a trolley due to my disabilities, a staff member, now known to me as Fish, collected me a trolley and loaded the stones onto it for me. He took me to the tills where I paid and then escorted me to my vehicle and loaded this into my car. He was extremely plesant and cheery and the help he gave me was very gratefully recieved. Fish is an absolute asset to Wickes Loughton, good old fashioned customer services, it goes a long way today. I only wish there were more people like Fish in the world.

We ordered Wickes' top of the range bathroom fittings. Tiles arrived damaged and had to be reordered again and again. 3 times in total but arrived with severe delays. So much so, our fitter had to move onto the next job and it ended us costing extra to finish the project We raised it with the management team who promised in writing (by emails) that they will deal with it and compensate us but then both left the company and we were left with no remedial action or compensation. Keep away.

However the quote for 2x drawer base units at over £2,500 was extortionate👎

My son is renovating his flat and came to Wickes to see their range. He came in and was helped by Sam who was very knowledgeable and gave lots of advice about undermount sink he wanted as well as a tap. Shivani put through the order and was very helpful getting that put through. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Ordered a Keter Store It Out from local store. Website said 2 in stock. Click & collect within 30 minutes. Never got text so went to store. Told none in stock. They did not even message to say they did not have any. I now have to wait for a refund.
We contacted Customer Support who said they would investigate further with the store. They came back and said the store Manager would call us back in 10 minutes. We contacted the store when they did not call but was told the Manager was in a meeting. When he did finally call back, he said there were no Keters in stock even though the website said they had 2.
We recall Customer Services who made us re-order so the item could be delivered next Tuesday.
