Wickes - Long Eaton Recensioni 

Ordered a bathroom and en-suite with fitting. I knew we would pay over the odds for the full service but trusted the brand and wanted to have the peace of mind that everything would be sorted. How wrong we were.
Consultant in the store basically washed his hands of us once we signed up. There were items missing from the order, which we were told to find and buy ourselves.
We thought we would only have to deal with Wickes if there were any issues, but no. Any issues with the installation or additional payment to the installer (significant amount on top of the significant amount already paid to Wickes) we were basically told to sort out ourselves.
Emails and texts ignored by the ‘customer service’ team.
Signed up in March, project only finished in August.
I would like to say that while the customer service is shocking that the products are good, however only 2 months after installation both the toilet and shower have faults. I’m currently 10 days in to trying to get Wickes to help with this (after being told just to let them know if anything at all went wrong). It takes days between contacts from them, latest is they want a video of the fault before they can do anything.
Huge mistake trusting the ‘let us take care of your project’ promises made. We’ve paid vastly inflated prices for average products and an awful customer experience.
Very disappointing. Needless to say we won’t be making this mistake again!

Been to wickes twice today and each time the whole team were amazing... thanks the kevin for lifting the sand I needed into the car and thank you to the young man ( so sorry I didn't catch his name ) who answered my questions. Long Eaton wickes is newly opened and an amazing store we needed in the area. Thanks guys and gals for your help

So pleased with my new bathroom & the very helpful Emily who visited my home to help me plan just what I wanted. Emily went above & beyond when the tiles I liked were discontinued she travelled to a store who had some & delivered them to my home. I felt I could easily speak with her about any queries I had & was very happy to invite her to see the finished bathroom. The fitter (Glen) who installed it was excellent.

Desiree has been nothing short of Outstanding. From the initial contact informing me that I was successful to picking up the gifts for Brooklands Primary School. What an outstanding experience provided by Wickes Long Eaton, Thank you.

I went into store last wednesday and was looking for a large amount of paint and this lovely girl helped us (Cydney) she was able to redirect us to the right area and then further helped us when they didn’t have what I needed in stock she was just wonderful

So I have been going Long Eaton Wicks for a while, They are great 99.9% of the time they have what I need, in fact the 0.1% is when I need something really odd. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would like to say Elaine is super helpful and always makes me smile when I am in store so big thanks to her.....give that lady a pay rise

Had a visit from Neil yesterday evening had a late appointment due to getting home late from work he was very understanding and very professional and helpful in the design I needed

I visited the store today looking for a sink for my bathroom. There wasn’t anything that was suitable in the store however she was very helpful going through all the options that were available for me. Her name was Bob (Amanda).

Two trips too the Long Eaton branch ,Friday 5/9/25 ,was over charged by £29.54 for plasterboard,Now have to wait a week for my credit card to be refunded ,This morning Monday 8/9/25 Needed to purchase a new Bosch Drill ,only after very nearly 20mins of waiting,They can't find or don't have in stock the Battery charger, Not very good !!!! Come on Wickes you can do better than this .😐😐

I only wanted 4x slabs for my car port, keeps sinking in the gravel. They were great got them off the high shelf for me and took them too my car, kevin was great much appreciated 👏

We’d had issues getting a paint mixed at another store and so called ahead for some advice and help. Simon answered the phone and was exceptionally helpful. We then visited the store and were served by Simon who continued to be just as helpful as on the phone. We left with the correctly mixed paint and were very grateful. Simon truly gave brilliant customer service throughout.

A special thank you to Desiree who was very helpful and patient in helping me fit 5 rolls of cavity insulation into my car, something that I didn't think would be possible.

Harindu in long eaton was a life saver today! Best employee who helped me after I dropped a load of things, was super friendly and sorted everything out. 5 stars

Just brought our new kitchen and had a budget in mind. Neill, our design consultant was fabulous start to finish. From coming to measure, to paying the final bill, he was just brilliant. Really down to earth and brought our vision to life. Cheers again!

Caramel Latte emulsion - sorted! I needed a paint colour to be mixed using the Dulux paint mixer in store and Elaine was extremely helpful in taking a break from the checkout desk and sorting it out for me. After mixing the paint she was also able to direct me straight to the tile grout that I also needed, saving me from searching the shelves. Many thanks Elaine!
