Went in for a few painting products , Ashley was so helpful and made sure I had everything I needed

Just had a kitchen installation and happy to say it’s all gone well. Milos did a home visit and worked up the design really quickly. We then chatted through the plan and did some tweaks with no fuss. MJV Installations did the fitting and did a great job. Overall, a good experience.

Arranged a home visit only to be told she wouldn't be able to make it on time so cancelled it and asked me to come intonthe showroom. Don't have the time slots if you can't fulfil the commitment. Subsequently decided to to use Wicks . This has set a precedent im afraid.

We are in the early stages of completely updating our kitchen. Milos, from the Leeds Moor Allerton branch, visited us yesterday to measure up and give advice and suggestions. He spent over an hour explaining the various choices that were available to us and made some very helpful suggestions. He was open and transparent regarding costs and finance options, making us feel confident that going ahead with Wickes would be a wise option. Our next appointment in 7 days time will be to make the final choices and we are optimistic about this.

Amazing store great advice from Ashley and Milos

Designer was negative from the start, looked like he didn’t want to be there. He explained the appt was an initial conversation not a design appt so couldn’t show me designs or do a design! He didn’t want to see the measurements I had done.

He had told Wickes the website did not make this clear to customers.

Thinking to myself “so what actually am I here for? “.

He explained it would be £3k for supply only, given I had balked at the install rough figure which was based on no design details, no product details etc.

Some conversation as to why prices were what they were, apparently people’s wages need paying, fitters need paying, and kept saying “you see” after every time he repeated pointedly who needed paying. He treated me like an idiot, and I was half minded to leave. Given I had made the journey and wasted time at the store, I asked for the supply price to at least get something out of the appointment.

The other elephant in the room though was the repeated data protection breaches he kept making by showing me prices other customers had paid-the screens had their names, addresses, phone numbers, and payment details!!?

Additionally, when I arrived the appointment screen was open so I could see other customers names details anyway!

I couldn't be happier with my fantastic new kitchen and the service provided by Milos. From start to finish, Milos offered expert advice and complete honesty, ensuring I got the best design for my needs without any pressure. It is rare to find such a trustworthy and professional service.

I recently came into store with my mother as she wanted to buy a new kitchen.

I arent usually ones to write reviews but my mum insisted on it, when we came into store, we was met by a soft spoken young man named milos, he clearly was very experienced and knowledgeable about everything he was selling, at no point did we ever felt pressured into buying anything and the whole experience felt very personable, I wasnt in the market for a kitchen myself but he made me feel as though I wanted a new one aswell, he was extremely polite and spoke very eloquently.

My mother was too nervous to go into anywhere and look for a kitchen herself so I had to go with her, her experience with milos has given her a new confidence and she now feels like like she can go and do things like this alone, if there was more people like him in this world, the world would smile more! I purchased a Kitchen with Installation for the value of £20,000. My kitchen was very small with no movement to original integrated appliances. Significantly overpriced. My designer gave me minimal information to the products other than the visual overall look only to discovery this led to multiple issues during installation. I was sold the dream, it will all be taken care of on the basis completion would be 1.5 weeks. Its now 13 weeks and the work is incomplete. Despite multiple attempts to reach out. I was given very little acknowledgments, false promises and continual led to believe each week the work would be done. Designer had missed measured products to install, cupboard units reaching the ceiling I am unable to utilise moving forward. Cupboards that do not open. Additional payment had to be paid by me due to mistakes been made during order totally £8000+. Do not leave paying any money until you have done your due diligence. I was negligent in believing what they told me. I had to move out of my small flat due to home being a building site during 9 weeks of the process. The stress, financial impacts and upset caused is not worth what they 'sell' they will not commit, they just want the sale no matter the consequences. Overall services, product pricing and customer support is very much an after thought. 3 months for a very small kitchen installation is unacceptable.

I’m installer for Wickes every time I install a bathroom most of the time i get the design from Milos and he is spot on on measuring and design usually i check measurements from other designers and I have to correct it but no with Milos,he is very responsive and and very helpful with any issues,always answer my call I have worked for other companies before and I can say Milos is the best designer I have worked with.Looking forward to next project with Milos.

Excellent service from Milos was a little hesitant at first due to mixed reviews but definitely well worth the money, his professionalism sealed the deal.

Zero stars for appalling service. Still not received our kitchen plan or response to my complaint following a pointless kitchen planning appointment in August at the Moor Allerton Wickes!!! So if you are thinking about using Wickes for your kitchen I would say dont bother - they just aren't interested in your business and it will just be a complete waste of your time.

He proposed new ideas and options for my bathroom which I was very impressed with. Nothing was too much trouble. Following Milos advice I completed my order . 👏👏😊

I’ve just had an email thanking me for having a bathroom design visit at home. They didn’t turn up. They are terrible. I wouldn’t mind, but I had my kitchen done 6 months ago, and they didn’t turn up then either. Don’t waste your time with Wickes. Go to a retailer that cares about customers.
