Today I have just received a large and very heavy worktop from Wickes delivered by CitySprint’s Julius truly the best delivery guy ever!

Been in tonight with a rough measurement guide of my kitchen. And Nicholas saw to us was absolutely fantastic planned us out a new kitchen and ordered. Nice friendly guy and saw to our every need!

Got my bathroom designed by James and had a couple of appointments from the home visit and the design to then paying for the services. Was really nice and explained well, was happy to answer any questions I had and available through email when I did have any queries.

After having measurements taken for a new kitchen, we attended Wickes, Hull a few days later in order to see the kitchen design that the designer should have had! On attending, the designers desk looked like a bomb had gone off! Paperwork everywhere and samples still on the desk from previous customers. The designer then started going through his paperwork and said that he couldn't find our paperwork from his visit. He then went to his cupboard; again, there was paperwork everywhere. There was absolutely no system or order whatsoever. After looking twice through paperwork on his desk and in the cupboard, he said that he didn't know where it was but that it would turn up at some point. I then said we had measurements and designs from another company with me. He asked to take a look and said "ohh, this will be helpful" and "I'm also really good at remembering what the measurements are after attending someones house". He then took us to see some samples, and we told him we'd already seen the samples/colours of the cupboards that we liked. He then said "ooh, this is going to be easy". He then went through the other companies measurements, whilst designing a kitchen on his screen. We were just sat there waiting. He didn't interact, didn't explain what he was doing. It was very uncomfortable experience. About an hour later, he then said "ok, I'll finish this if you need to get off and I'll email it to you later". We'd only picked the cupboards. We didn't get asked or shown sinks, handles or taps, although he did mention that a nice black sink would go with what we'd chosen. My daughter told him that she wanted a white sink, not a black one. It was very unprofessional. Later that day, we received the email with the kitchen design. It was awful. Handles we wouldn't have chosen, even the wrong colour, a tap we wouldn't have chosen, again the wrong colour. The service was, quite simply, appalling. Never again.

I was about shopping for a few DIY projects. I went in and was served by Mo. Mo left me with a sense of great customer service experience. I was happy with my shopping and hoping to see you again in no distant time Mo.

Very friendly staff at store (well done Kirsty). The shop is laid out in a very customer friendly manner that ensured I could quickly find what I was looking for. I always get great value at Wickes and will definitely be back.

Kitchen delivery service- worked like a dream with lots of updates & reminders when the delivery colleagues would be delivering our kitchen. Two friendly & helpful drivers put all the components in our chosen room.
They both were careful & considerate, huge thanks to driver Maciej & his assistant Craig.

It was very pleasant to have someone so helpful and knowledgeable help me design my future kitchen . Nothing was too much trouble and the consultant was very professional and put you at ease. Wickes has great products at very competitive prices and their delivery is great and a fraction of the cost of one of its main competitors!! Plus the coffee was excellent too ! 😆

Arrived on the 1st June to order a delivery of 30 large pavers.
Abi checked and unfortunately the date i needed them bye wasn't available.
Abi went above and beyond to get things sorted and believe me she did that in a very pleasant and professional manner.
I'd definitely say she is a big credit to the company.
I'd like to say a massive thankyou for taking your time Abi to get me sorted as id been massively let down by one of your biggest competitors B&Q

19/05/2026 I've got kitchen
26/05/2026 I found the flow of some parts for assembly ( 30 hinge hole cover caps ). I contacted Nicholas Scruton
( design consultant), he promised to solve the problem. I waited for 4 weeks, then contacted again (23/06/2026), he promised again...
Now is 06/07/2026 5pm and I've got
NOTHING

Mo was a great help in helping me to find what i needed and introduced me to the Wickes app. Very professional, very helpful.

Visited to buy some bits for the loft, was served by Mo who was very polite and helpful, he asked if I hade a trade card. I said no but he helped set me up with one and got me a £7 discount. I then decided to buy some more bits where I used the discount again, so very happy to now have a 10% discount to use on future purchases.

Ordered a kitchen from Wickes Hull Branch, what an easy experience, no pushy sales just helpful input and sound advice in choosing the right products. Very please with all your help James C, made choosing the kitchen stress free.
