Xocoa McGee, their community champion, has been kind, helpful and as a school, struggling to provide the very best for our youngest children, we really appreciate this! I recently worked with Wickes on a project for my house in Marlow to remove and fit a new bathroom, kitchen, and cloakroom on a tight schedule. Their design consultant, Dimu, was instrumental in this process, quickly finding a skilled and hardworking fitter.
The project was completed to a high standard, and I was able to move into my property with everything beautifully finished. I'm grateful for their efficiency, which turned a potentially stressful timeline into a smooth experience.
Wickes exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them.

We purchased our new bathroom from Wickes Wycombe store. We dealt with a designer named Dimu, who was very helpful until things went wrong. The start date was a week late and deliveries were unpredictable. In a nut shell Dimu did not want to know when, the fitter did a runner, leaving two flooded flats below us, a toilet that constantly blocks, shower screen leaking, paint work and tiling unfinished, shower glass restraining bracket still in its box, no access to drainage system, you name it. We are now four months, plus since complaints began and still no help. We are dealing with Ash Alam who doesn`t seem in the slightest bit interested. We really dont know what to do.

Had issue with missing stock. Carla at the Wycombe store was excellent sorting out the problem and arranging a replacement - so I had the items I required on the same day!

Excellent customer service at Wickes.
Not only do they sell the lowest VOC paints on the market, which are their own brand, maybe missing a trick not advertising it as that (Holistic Interior Design background) This is a huge USP for allergy sufferers and sensitive people and children, asthma etc…No horrible smells & fumes of paint and headaches. The customer Service was fantastic.
Shout out to Muhsin and Carla, both exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping. Well done, great two members of Wickes Team. Love you paints, I’ll be painting my whole house with them!

Great experience of working with Sarah to design our new bathroom, she was very informative and listened to our ideas and was happy to go through the changes in design. Great service.

Great service from Jasper today , although it was very busy he was extremely helpful and calm which made my hectic day feel more relaxed. Will be visiting again.

I was served by a lovely lady named Carla. She was very helpful and greeted me with a nice smile. What a lovely experience. She had excellent customer service, such a polite, kind and helpful lady.

On a recent visit to wicked high Wycombe ion entry I asked where treated wood was, the member of staff just pointed, not impressed on wondering around the store I came across 4 members of male staff having a chat , I waited until one of them asked if he could help,, he then asked a younger member of the team to assist me , this staff member obviously was not happy to be asked to help me and was verbally very rude, I told him I would be speaking to the manager he said he didn’t care, I then asked at checkout who the manager was so I could inform them of the rude staff member , it beggars belief the manager was the initial person I had asked for assistance, no surprise staff are rude when the manageress has such a poor attitude, however on past visits I have been impressed with staff in particular Carla who I have to say has always been an exemplary member of the team, it’s sad when those in managerial positions are outshined by other staff.

We were at the Wycombe store and the item we wanted was out of stock, but in steps up Carla, who was fantastic and showed us alternative items that could help and she saved the day! Meaning we didn't have to go elsewhere. She was really helpful and patient, that's what we call great customer service, thank you!

I was served on probably 3-5 occasions in the last week, as moved my sons into a new home, so helping with DIY by a lovely friendly young man called jasper, he was calm gentle and polite, I’ve been so busy I felt tired and his calm polite attitude was refreshing, so well done jasper and well done wicks

The support from the design team was exceptional. They really listened to what I had in mind for my home and worked with me to produce a new kitchen and redesign of my living space to completely transform my home.
The quality of the units, work tops and flooring was just what I had hoped for. I was also thoroughly impressed with the installation service, my installer was incredibly detailed and meticulous with the work.
As with any project there are always the odd hiccup (delivery goes awry) and when this happened the Wickes team dealt with it quickly, efficiently and to my satisfaction.

High Wycombe staff are just so helpful and happy to get my purchases to the car. I did my kitchen, bathroom and flooring all with Wickes products and it is all excellent. Special thanks to Carla and Jasper this week who helped me find what I needed and got it to the car when- perfect for someone of my age.

The designer in store Wade at High Wycombe was very helpful and professional. The installation carried out by Jarek was superb, he worked quickly and offered advice and overcame some challenges with the my existing pipework, he did what he said he would do, completed the job 2 days earlier than expected and left everything spotless and fully tested, highly recommended.

I recently visited Wickes to collect an order and found the staff very helpful and responsive. In particular Xocoa McGee was outstanding. I cannot recommend this store more highly.

I have shopped here for years and always found the staff here to be very friendly and helpful. In particular Carla on the tills always serves with a smile and ensures you leave a happy customer. I've lost count of the amount of times she's gone the extra mile and sorted out any problems or issues I've had with materials...deserves a promotion!!

Disappointing Experience with Poor Workmanship and Customer Service

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Wickes. The workmanship on my bathroom installation was subpar, and the quality of the materials provided was shockingly low. Despite raising multiple complaints, the customer service team failed to handle the situation properly or provide an adequate resolution.

Instead of addressing the issues professionally, they kept sending back the same unqualified fitter who had already botched the job. This lack of accountability and commitment to quality is unacceptable.

I expected better from a company with Wickes’ reputation but was left with a poorly finished bathroom and endless frustration. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable and professional home improvements.
