Wickes - Haverfordwest Recensioni 

Needed a small piece of OSB so had a look on the web and cut sizes were very expensive and I couldn't fit a panel in the car. I had a look at Wickes and the panel pricing was very competitive and better still delivery was only £4!. Placed my order and communication about when it would arrive was good and delivery quick. Really happy with the service.

Very helpful. Listened to what we wanted. Didn’t suggest things at higher prices if it wasn’t needed

Having been gifted some gift cards for Wickes, we had to go into store to use as they can't be used online . So the assistant Hue helped to do a return and sort out our order and the 6 gift cards, you could not fault his service to us and the way he helped.

Gareth was very professional in all the meetings we had, both at our cottage, and in store. He was very helpful with designing our small bathroom. He is a credit to Wickes.

I went to look at buying a new kitchen and was seen by Gareth. Gareth helped me to understand the different options available to me including styles and prices. He came up with multiple kitchen designs and was so patient when I kept swapping and changing my mind and asking for different add ons and quotes. Gareth was always contactable and quick to respond to all my emails. Gareth went over and above to ensure that I was happy with the design and made sure I got the best possible price. I would highly recommend buying a kitchen through Wickes because of the experience I had. Gareth took the stress away and was always enthusiastic about creating a kitchen I loved. Gareth also helped me with purchasing floor tiles and helped me calculate how many I would need and arranged for all the tiles to be delivered from another store so they were from the same batch.

Gareth Davies our designer came to visit us as arranged even though there was a thick snowfall. (He never made it home and had to sleep at someone's near his stranded car). He had a good draught for us when we visited the store later in the week. He showed us all the options and was very patient as we checked and double checked our final choices. Gareth was able to offer his expertise when we had various options we could go for, which was very useful. It was a really pleasant experience to design our new kitchen

Buying a kitchen is a significant investment and also about personal taste and priorities. Gareth was patient, professional and knowledgeable which all added up to a perfectly positive experience.

After confusion over tile delivery- which was not down to the staff but was Wickes policy- I had to return to the Haverfordwest branch today to pick up my order. The staff were amazing - particularly Terry- who was incredibly helpful and sorted out all the problems with credits and repayment - he even helped load some items on the van- turned a bad experience into a great one. I would recommend that Wickes review and improve their delivery policy

Alice was very patient but efficient. She listened too and gave good ideas. I felt she understood what I was trying to explain.

We have the kitchen fitters here and discovered that the sink and taps not delivered.

It appears that Wickes forgot to tell us that the sink and taps would be delivered by a third party, on contacting the third party they were still waiting for delivery date from Wickes.

We also have a granite worktop, I knew Wickes team did but they actually contract that out too and there is a 28 day lead in period I was not aware of.

We were called a couple of weeks ago and I advised the day for the template fitting to be 24 November. Yesterday I called the third part after I had made 3 phone calls and found out it was a third party and they advised it would be the 2nd December for the template fitting and 17 December for the fitting. So we will have had a period of 6 weeks with no fully functional kitchen.

This is the third kitchen we have had fitted and we have never had such issues.

The sink and taps come next week now we have to tie that in with the kitchen fitters availablity too.

So once again Wickes have let us down, caused additional stress and disappointment

Gareth has been amazing from start to finish. When I had no idea what I wanted Gareth came out measured up and designed everything for me. He has been really helpful when I have changed things and given great advice. I would recommend Gareth to everyone and we can’t wait for this project to be complete so we can return for our next one.
