Very helpful staff and the store always has everything I need.
Wickes is better than its well known competiter..

I’ve been a Wickes customer for 30 years and Halifax is the best store for customer service and friendliness . Jasim was very helpful today. Michael , the manager is a gentleman , Sarah is a great help and very knowledgeable and Wasim always goes out of his way to be helpful .

Bought a trolly load of things for a job used my trade card - no prob .
Needed to order some timber to be delivered, another female staff member had to deal with the order .
Could not get the timber code up on line said it did not exist , walked her down to the display stand where she acknowledged I was correct .
Back at the till she asked for my email address , showed her my account on my phone with full details including email .
Not good enough , I had to read it out to her she said .
Did not have my reading glasses with me so was struggling to read it .
She told me to come back with my glasses ?
Left the store and went to Naylor Myers’s where I have an account - no problems there.
You lost over a £ 150 worth of my trade today and any further orders in future thanks to your uncooperative , unprofessional rude assistant . Halifax branch .

We had to order the items we wanted instore, as we had a gift card. Sam placed the order for us, double checking everything. She was very friendly and helpful, the order was delivered today with everything there.

It would be useful to be able to use a gift card online too.

From start to finish, choosing and purchasing our kitchen ,Harry helped us all the way. With honest and helpful guidance! The fantastic service and professional knowledge provided we brought our daughter back to purchase a kitchen too!!! Thanks Harry.

Apart from delivery problems the goods we purchased were good quality. Installation went well and we are pleased with the results.

Recently received a very generous donation from Wickes for our local primary school. The water butt, wheelbarrow and rake will be so beneficial to our nature area. The staff in the Halifax store were so lovely and we are so impressed with their generosity. Thanks Wickes.

Ordered 2 vanity units in Halifax store, cancelled them and reordered to take advantage of a discount and only reordered on the confirmation from staff member that they had cancelled the first order. It was not to be and all 4 items turned up so we rejected 2. A month later and still no refund, the contact centre is dreadful and Halifax branch take no ownership. Apparently wickes are just the go between and refunds are dealt with when suppliers confirm it can be refunded. The supplier “ultra finishing” have confirmed they have the goods back yet still no refund a month later. When i tried to tell them I had called the supplier direct and had a PO number for them they weren’t interested. I have now disputed it with my credit card.

Through the Wickes Community Program, my school have received donations that will enhance our playground provision. Thank you very much!

We had a brilliant experience with our kitchen right from the sales to the installation. Harry Fletcher from the Halifax Wickes store was so helpful, he spent a lot of time with us and took into consideration what we wanted and why, storage being the most important factor for us. Whenever we had questions, Harry always made himself available and always got back to us. The installation done by Jonathan was brilliant, he worked really hard to completion to get the job done by the deadline, even when there were additional things he needed to do, he worked to ensure these were done. We’re so happy with our new kitchen, we now have storage and it looks beautiful! I’m no longer embarrassed when people come to our house! Also a shout out to Tahir at the Halifax Wickes who helped out with an order enquiry and made sure we would be able to receive the order in time for the works being carried out, everyone has been so friendly and helpful, I would definately recommend Wickes for a kitchen installation!

We had a great consultation with our designer Harry at Halifax branch. He was full of ideas and listened to our requests. Our fitter Jonathan was great and nothing was too much trouble, he did an excellent job. We are really pleased with the finished kitchen.
