Was served by Gemma at the Guildford store. She was great so friendly felt like I had known her for years. She me up with a trade account there and then. Something I would always think was a good thing to do but would have never got round to do. Now I’m ordering through the app which is great. Super star service

Kirsty at Guilford was brilliant, really helpfull, even helped me with downloading the wicks app, what a breath of fresh air

We went to the Guildford Store to look at bathrooms. The service from Steve T. was excellent. He came to our house, measured everything up and came up with a great design.

Store is what you would expect. But Gemma who was on customer service, on her own, was smashing it. Multi tasking click and collect and the queue. Friendly and efficient. Wickes - you've got a good one there

I bought an extension lead and after a week it stopped working. I went to return it they said they don't accept returns as the item has been used!! I told that was the whole idea to use it. The wouldn't budge and didn't swap it or refund me. The Wickes electric equipment are awful. They are cheaply made and are waste of money. I learned the hard way. Just DO NOT buy them. Regards

Fist time visiting look for specific garden stuff. On entering was great by the lovely Gemma with a smile and hello. Found what I needed headed to check out and again greeted by the lovely Gemma who was smiley and lovely. Made my day being served by someone who smiled and can hold a great conversation. A real credit to the store. Thanks Gemma

Top marks for Gemma, it’s always good to find friendly and helpful members of staff these days, especially when they are busy

Jemma is an absolute star,she welcomes you into the store every morning and it’s early. She also will go above and beyond to help you find what you need or even if it’s really busy,she still manages it. We love using wickes because of her.

Had an initial in-store appointment for a new kitchen design with a designer who at the start of the appointment said that 45 minutes was not enough time - I had emailed the week before to say that I would be delayed by 15 minutes and the response was 'no problem' - and that I should've arranged a home visit first. Mmm, perhaps that should've been communicated via the emails. They were not interested in the measurements that I had done, nor the photos that I had taken as per the designer A's request. Our 'meeting' lasted about 10 minutes, most of which was me asking questions about the kitchens that they had on display. One would think that if they did want the business, they would've arranged a time for a home visit before I left the store

Went in for a design. Saw both Jena and Steve who were ver6 supportive and knowledgeable. Eventually decided on a kitchen thanks to Jenas immense knowledge. Previously went to Wren over the road but they were so pushy it put me off. Would 100% recommend Wickes for their kitchens and they great knowledgeable staff in the showroom

Gemma was extremely helpful with advising all the way and unbelievably positive attitude.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Wickes Guildford.
My 86 year old father suffers from vascular dementia and alzheimers. On Monday evening he managed to slip past the ring bell, leave his GPS tracker at home and travel 70 miles overnight with no money or ID to be found in the morning rearranging the shelves in the Guildford Wickes store. The staff were amazing. They identified that something was amiss, contacted the Police and looked after Dad until I was able to collect him at 2.00 in the afternoon. Unfortunately Dad had also had a bladder malfunction which they dealt with by supplying fresh trousers. Dad is now home safe and sound and we are looking at the next stage of his care. Dementia is a terrible condition and I really can't thank all the staff enough for their understanding and care.

Booked a slot so we could get a design for our bathroom so we could visualise what it may look like. The appointment was with “Paul” but he wasn’t there(?) We dealt with Steve who said he didn’t have time for a full design and was not very helpful at all. He said he needed to come to the house instead first. Complete waste of time, and annoyed given we purposely booked a slot. Will be cancelling the home visit booking.

Gemma at the Guildford branch was amazing and helpful. Keep up the good work.

I want to thank Gemma for her excellent service yesterday. She was so friendly and helpful on setting up an account and had great knowledge on the products I wanted. A real pleasure to have such great shopping experience.

Unfortunately, after making a successful booking and arriving for my appointment, I was told, “Sorry, I can’t actually do that for you today.” I had received a check‑in call the day before, but at no point was I informed that the booking would not go ahead.
It was a real shame and a missed opportunity, as I had several bathrooms that needed planning. The lack of communication caused inconvenience, and I left without the service I had arranged.
