We had a kitchen installed from wickes in Durham . I can honestly from day 1 this was one of the best experiences we’ve had on any purchase. Richard Williams was top drawer.Professional and innovative in every way,he came up with great fresh ideas which changed numerous times as we went along but we are so happy with the end result . The installation offered by Lee was also superb. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys ( and have already done so ) to anyone looking for a new kitchen .

Would highly recommend Our kitchen designer and Installation Consultant Richard he was amazing, lovely freindly guy he kept us updated every step of the way took the time to guide and advise us when needed, his design was just perfect and our kitchen turned out far better than we ever could of imagined, Which couldn't of been done without the expertise of our kitchen fitter Michael and his team who kept us informed every step of the way and advised us when necessary, very friendly team who turned up on time and made sure they tidied up everynight before they left.
Can't thank both Richard & Michael enough for giving us our dream kitchen.

Just had a new Wickes kitchen installed. We are over the moon. Designer Richard Williams couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish. Lovely guy. We changed things a few times before kitchen was delivered but wasn't a problem for Richard altering plans. Mark Toase came highly recommended and did a great job at fitting the kitchen. We had a couple of panels which were damaged but these were replaced quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys.

Wickes’ Community Scheme in Durham donated paint to St Leonard’s School boat club to help us repaint the roof of our boat house and the blades of our oars in club colours. As a small club, which relies on fundraising, this was very much appreciated. The manager in the Durham store was helpful and communicative throughout. Thank you Wickes!

This was a complicated renovation involving a complete revamp of our bathroom space. Designer, Richard Williams came up with a great design that we were happy to go ahead with. It took a while to recruit a fitter because of the scale of the job but once committed Steve Lawrence did a great job of completing the works. We are delighted with the outcome.

Thank you to Simon and the team at Wickes Durham. Their generosity to our new OPAL programme has been so gratefully received. The children at Sherburn Primary School will benefit hugely from the materials which have been donated kindly.

Wickes bathroom fitting (Durham) is an absolute disgrace. Having to take legal action. My 85 year old parents were promised the world, charged a fortune, have had a shoddy job done that has taken months and months and is still no good. On top of this, the design is terrible - they have not considered the best position for anything, just used the easiest place for them using existing pipes etc. Do not make this mistake and avoid at all costs.

Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable, advice and support has been fantastic throughout. Cant wait for our new kitchen. Thank you Michael.

I bought a new kitchen from Wickes in July last year. I am very happy with the overall service, from planning the kitchen with Richard and getting good advise on appliances arrangement to ensure it would completely suit my needs. The delivery of all items was very well planned and communicated and the logistics were straight forward. Dan the kitchen fitter did an absolute brilliant job with the assembly and helped out with some unforeseen floor repairs.
I can't recommend the whole team from Wickes Sunderland and Durham enough. Everyone of them has made this purchase the best decision I made in 2024!

We like Durham Wickes, It’s always clean and tidy and every member of staff we’ve met are friendly and helpful. Thank you for the help of the lady on the checkout today (apologies didn’t catch her name), who listened to us and called for Lesley’s support without fuss. Appreciated 🙂

Great service from staff on the click and collect counter this morning. I think her name was Emma (sorry I forgot by the time I got home). She was fabulous, took my items to the car for me even though the click and collect text message system hadn’t worked. Very friendly staff. Great customer service.Thank you.

Richard Williams and Mark Tose designed and fitted our kitchen. Richard listens, understands your design ideas and puts together a fantastic fantasy room. Mark can fit a kitchen without instruction, that's how good he is. He adapts edits thinks on his feet and has a high standard that he works to.

Excellent service from Wickes from design and measuring and installation. Designer listened to requirements and also willing to contribute with some good ideas. Any follow up work was addressed promptly. The worktop installation team were very professional too with one small issue addressed promptly and willingly.

Just wanted to mention the assistant Keaton for his helpfulness and knowledge

Click and collect Durham, went to store with my wife for grout and saw some laminate flooring we liked we did a click and collect on 6 packs as we needed to go home for the van, my wife went through on her own as they always offer to load it and the guy just passed the trolley with it on and left her to take it to the van and load it herself, She is a Pensioner, after she loaded it, here is one of the staff carrying a pot of paint out for a guy who was a lot younger than her
