Our Wickes' rep was excellent and gave us so really good ideas of how we could improve our kitchen layout without any alterations but just by moving current units around. He explained the whole process of what would happen if we decided to go ahead with our kitchen renovation. We now have a second appointment in June to finalise our choices and hopefully be given a start date. Our current kitchen is a Wickes one and is now 15 years old, still standing but starting to look its age!!

Staff extremely unhelpful and not pleasant at all. If I could give no stars I would. Staff don't even know how to work the till to take an order. Every question is too much. So much attitude. Rubbish. Will not be spending my money here again.

We are extremely pleased with our new shower room installed by Wicks Dartford, Karen Gordon was our helpful designer and she was brilliant. The bathroom was professionally fitted by Dan Starr and his team who did a great job. Design and fitting service were both excellent.

We were serviced today by Ayub and I would like to say this gentleman is very patient and extremely helpful he went above and beyond to make sure we were able to order everything on our list we also used vouchers which ment it took extra time and when we were indecisive or thinking we allowed him to serve other customers this young man deserves an accommodation for his hard work patience and dedication to his job

Had so much promise ended up as a complete disaster, I would never recommend Wickes to anyone if they want their bathroom done. Felt everything up until they took our deposit was great, after that it was downhill from there. Our installer completely rushed the job, was a day late starting as he had to go back to previous job due to snagging, this should have raised alarm bells…. The finish of our bathroom is terrible, I have untold photos of how awful our bathroom looks with a hole left in our ceiling, cork/silcone over our new bathroom floor (which he laid), he has left a hole top to bottom in our wall. Corking everywhere in the bathroom is shocking, my 2 year old could do a better job. Our radiator is not attached completely to the wall, he did not attach our wall panel end completely so this comes off, he charged to change our light switch but hasn’t done this - gladly took the money for it. Shoddy job with the skirting he made, not corked half of it, done a crap job cutting. Sharp edges on the wall panel which isn’t ideal with a 2 year old - health and safety risk in my opinion. Have complained to the person in store at Wickes who said they would look into this, I have received no response since Wednesday, I understand it has been Easter holiday and entitled time off, but it would have been great to have received an email to say it’s been received and when I should receive a response. On the whole the person in store has been amazing but I feel there are too many problems with the bathroom that I want sorted asap. The installer stated he would return in May to complete the ceiling works (not sure of anything else as over the following days all the above and below issues have cropped up which cannot wait) we were more than reasonable to accept May even though it should have been completed as we have been charged but I am not waiting until May for them to complete their current job and then go on holiday. I am extremely unhappy and want this resolved. I have many pictures that I can show anyone who asks as I would never recommend Wickes to anybody. I want the job corrected asap as I will be asking for the payment plan to be placed on hold as I’m not paying for the shocking job that Wickes has done. If this is not resolved promptly or the issues that are unsafe hurt my child I will be seeking legal advice.
Update:. How soon do you reply when you have taken further details? I am getting nowhere. & still not received any response from wickes in store. I will be making a claim with the finance company very shortly as I am quite frankly appalled with the complete service overall.

It’s taken 3 weeks and counting to fit my bathroom, this is the 3rd weekend I have had now with no bathroom! Through no fault of the builders fitting it, who have under the circumstance nothing short of incredible. The delays gave all been down to Wickes and appalling customer service. It’s all great until something needs replacing or is missing from an order and then it’s 3-5 working days to sort it out (and it’s always 5 if you are lucky) not only that when you raise a formal complaint in writing you hear nothing back, so they even fail on their own 72hr complaint response policy, save yourself the grief don’t use them!

Absolutely disgraceful service had an order of 40 boxes of floor tiles and 6 bags of tile adhesive and spacers to be delivered to a new home we are moving to. Only to sit in all day and then be told that only the 6 bags of adhesive and spacers are being delivered as the delivery driver was intending on leaving them at the kerb side at the end of the road for my disabled partner to move. This is completely unacceptable and absolutely disgraceful way to carry out delivery’s to customers today was booked in for two weeks as this has been the only opportunity to have some one available to be in for the delivery. We have just got of the phone from the customer service and all the can say is sorry and we can reschedule a delivery or you can wait 14 business days for a refund. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and a disgraceful way to carry out business.

I ordered some gravel, which apparently couldn’t be delivered due to overhead cables, although I have had multiple deliveries from other wickes stores before!

We have had two great design experiences with Gordon World at the Dartford branch. His knowledge of the Wickes range and his effective use of the CAD software makes for a helpful and enjoyable experience when purchasing these bigger ticket items.
We would also like to appreciate Russell Kings installation of our kitchen c/o Wickes. Russell is a highly skilled craftsperson, tidies up after every day, and has really brought our dream kitchen to life.
Both Gordon and Russell are a credit to the Wickes brand.

This has been the most distressing, exhausting, and regretful consumer experience of my life. My wife and I saved up for years to afford this bathroom renovation, viewing it as a major life milestone to enjoy before the arrival of our baby. We chose Wickes specifically because we believed we were paying for professional design expertise and a fully managed service. We trusted you with our home and our savings. That trust was completely misplaced. Instead of a dream bathroom, we have been left with a stressful, dangerous, and unfinished nightmare.
The core of this disaster is the design provided by Wickes, which has resulted in a shower that is not fit for purpose. We were sold an open shower tray combined with a high-volume rainfall shower head. During the design consultation, we raised specific questions about water containment. We were explicitly and repeatedly reassured by your designer that this setup was suitable and would only result in "minor splashback." That reassurance was negligent. The reality is that the shower cannot be used properly because the design defies basic physics. The water escapes the tray instantly, the drainage cannot cope with the volume, and the system fails to function. This is a fundamental design failure that causes the bathroom floor to flood during every single use.
What makes this situation unforgivable is the immediate danger it poses to my family. My wife is currently 34 weeks pregnant. At a time when she should be feeling safe and nesting, she is navigating a slip hazard every day. Because of the severe flooding caused by your design, she cannot shower independently. I have to physically supervise her while she showers—effectively acting as a lifeguard in my own home—standing ready to catch her if she slips on the pooling water. The mental load and stress of having to monitor her safety constantly, worrying about a fall that could harm her or our unborn child, is indescribable. We are at our wits' end with the anxiety this is causing.
To be clear, this is not an installation issue. The fitters were excellent; they worked to the design given and even fabricated solutions on-site for missing parts purely out of goodwill. The responsibility lies squarely with the design advice provided by Wickes.
Worse still is the absolute lack of accountability. I have been forced into the role of "mitigator" for a project I paid thousands for. I am the one calling all parties, tying pieces together, and chasing updates. It feels like I am managing the resolution myself while your team remains passive. Specific individuals have failed to grasp the severity. Gordon has been utterly unhelpful; since the installation, we have heard nothing back from him at all—not even a goodwill call to check on the safety situation. His silence speaks volumes. Karen is the only person who replies in a timely manner, but only via email, and it is not her department so she cannot actually fix the problem. We have dealt with Michael Duffy, who is decent but clearly has limited power; dealing with him feels like an exercise in him "looking busy" rather than bringing resolution. Furthermore, Jamie in customer services has just become an emotional counsellor rather than a problem solver. I vent my frustrations, but nothing changes. I have done more to move the needle by contacting the supplier (Merlin) myself than your entire team has.
From a legal standpoint, Wickes is failing its statutory obligations. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied must be fit for the particular purpose for which they were supplied (Section 10). You failed to provide a design fit for purpose. Consequently, under Section 23, I am entitled to a repair or replacement. Crucially, the Act states this must be done "at no cost to the consumer" and "without significant inconvenience." You are currently ignoring these rights. We are left with a non-functional shower, ongoing safety issues, and the stress of chasing a company that should be taking responsibility. I urge anyone considering Wickes to proceed with extreme caution. We demand an immediate remedy.

Visited Wickes Dartford today to design our new bathroom following a home visit with Gordon! The design was just what we wanted so we felt really heard. With so many options available, selecting the preferences to finish the design seemed a little overwhelming so Gordon narrow the options based on what we explained and helped us pick within our budget. He was really knowledgeable and made the process seamless. Also fantastic at keeping our little one amused with the provision of a little rubix cube, nice touch! We can’t wait for our new bathroom, thank you Gordon!

Karen is lovely and was so helpful throughout, responding to queries promptly which was reassuring. When the job started, Alun and his team were prompt, friendly and hard-working resulting in a fantastic new kitchen we are very happy with!
