I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the level of service I have received from Wickes, a company I previously regarded as a professional and reliable franchise. The numerous issues I have encountered have not only caused significant inconvenience but have also resulted in unnecessary expenses and stress for my family.

On 3rd November, I raised the following concerns with your customer service team:

Delivery Issues: Your delivery team left our bathroom furniture outside, stating they were not insured to bring it over the threshold of our door.
Incorrect Design: The design you provided contained errors and missing information, rendering it unusable and causing additional expenses for building materials and furniture.
Insufficient Tile Quantities: You ordered tiles only for the walls, failing to account for our flooring needs. This mistake has cost us both time and money.
Lack of Professionalism: Despite multiple visits and calls to your store, we were advised to sell the bathroom furniture that did not fit because your design included oversized items. We were informed that refunds could not be processed in-store.
Incorrect Radiators: Instead of the black radiators specified in the design, you sent us two radiators—one gray and one blue.
Non-Responsive Customer Care: Despite your claim of a 48-hour response time, it has now been 21 days since I first reached out. My emails have gone unanswered, and my partner’s attempts to resolve this in-store, via email, and through platforms such as Trustpilot, Google, and Facebook have also been ignored.

I trust you will take this matter seriously and demonstrate the professionalism expected from a company of your stature

I raised an issue with customer service on November 3rd, and was told I would receive a response within 2 working days. It's now been 17 days with no resolution or follow-up. The lack of communication and delay in addressing my concern has been extremely frustrating, and I am still waiting for a response

parked in wicks carpark for no more than thirty mins, but subsequently got a fine for apparently parking for two hours. Their proof? a timestamp on a video recording perhaps not updated from seasonal clock change. Wicks response was to say they have nothing to do with the car parks and a rather snotty comment that signs for parking time limits are displayed. Well Wicks, even if you don't have responsibility for your car parks its still your reputation being ruined when a customer comes to your store, spends a lot of money they gets scammed in the car park. I will never return as I can't trust the same thing will not happen again.

Wickes carlisle is my go to for all things trade and diy related the 10% trade discount is so helpful as I visit very frequently, by far the most friendly and helpful staff on every visit, thank you wickes carlisle

I contacted the manager, Neil at Wickes to see if they could help our Charity, which provides outdoor adventure residentials for young people, with some regeneration of our site in the Scottish Borders. Neil couldn't have been more helpful and has helped us out with several things over the past few years without which, the site would have struggled to update and continue its work. Deliveries have been on time and we really can't thank Wickes enough for their help.

I recently spoke to Neil to see if he could make a donation to our Winter Warmth Rail of Kindness. After a quick form fill Neil was able to donate some coat hook rails which will help carry on this great project.

service in wickes is brilliant if i need any help there straight there. the store manager is polite and very helpful

Recently had a kitchen designed by Danny at Wickes, very patient and took time to get it just right thank you Danny, delivery of kitchen went smoothly we were kept informed all through this, and a massive thank you to Scott Martin and his team our kitchen fitter, who made a beautiful job of our kitchen, I would highly recommend him.

I can’t speak highly enough of the staff and service, great experience on each visit.

In the 13 years of running my company I have been using Carlisle Wickes multiple times a week. The staff are more than helpful, go above and beyond for myself and my staff. I do not hesitate to recommend to friends, family and customers for any of their needs.

So I’ve just had another delivery from wickes, I was kept informed via the tracking which I have to say works much better than other companies,
I’ve recently had surgery so I wasn’t able to help with the offloading but Zac who delivered this particular order could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him, so a big thank you to Zac

I had plasterboard delivered today from the Carlisle store. The service was brilliant and on time. The delivery guy unloaded and stacked the plasterboard for me, a cheerful friendly guy ,sorry I didn't get his name. I would recommend Wickes delivery.

We had some plaster bored delivered. The service was on time with a very helpful, polite, professional delivery man with a smile. Great job I’m very happy with the service

I received what can only be described as an abusive email from someone I presume was the store manager.

No need to elaborate further except to say I will be forwarding my complaint together with the email I received from the store to Wickes head office.

A truly awful company who I will never use again.
