As the store is so big, it can be difficult to find products. Ike and Nick helped me to find what I needed.

I came into store with half my tap in hand having no idea how to purchase the correct washer to fix the job. Sam to the rescue. She took time to listen, locate the right part and even checked the fit. The world would be a much better place if we all did like Sam. Thank you Sam for going the extra mile. You made a difference today

How Ike kept smiling and patiently assisted me was the highlight of my shopping experience and will definitely make “Wickes” my top destination when next I need home tools for myself, family, friends and colleagues.

Everything in stock that was required for a guttering job.
Ike on the checkout always helpful and welcoming, makes you feel appreciated as a client and continue to use this branch as opposed to suppliers who are in the same locality!

Went to Wickes in Baguley town,
Manchester skies were pouring down.
Spotted a bin — reduced, what bliss!
A £15 bargain I couldn’t miss.

Paint galore in every hue,
Picked up two pots (well, wouldn’t you?).
A ginger lad said, “Nice cologne,”
— rare praise in cities colder in tone.

At checkout Ike was calm and bright,
Refund sorted, job done right.
I left the store without complaint,
Bin in boot, plans to paint.

i called today for some edging strip for some doors.the first male employee i asked told me they didnt do it.i knew they would do it because it is a product you supply if you sell doors. ithen asked IKE the young man on the checkout (he was very good) he intro to a young lady who couldnt be more helpful( 10/!0 for her assistance.i only wish i had got her name.

So having had an indifferent experience at Wickes call centre, Sam and Ike at restored my faith in humanity as well as Wickes.

The flooring was outside the 30 days by about 2 weeks, so we did need discretion. Yet it was in boxed perfect condition and in stock.

The call centre actually made it more difficult by cancelling the order! Yet Ike who lights up anyone's day, and the manager Sam, who was so super professional got it sorted.

Thanks again Wikes for super in store staff and assistance.
