Lovely friendly service made my day, lovely to see a smiling face

Great store, great staff.

I visited the store last week and was helped by Anthony who advised me on flooring and tools needed. Anyway I purchased my flooring today and Anthony helped me pick my flooring and helped me load my car. I am new homeowner to the area and already love this store. GREAT SERVICE GREAT PEOPLE

Great customer service. Had a few questions for a job I haven’t done before and were more than happy to help.

Thank you for your amazing customer service I received today, I had little knowledge about the products I was buying, but a man called Charlie explained everything to me and showed me the best products to suit my needs.
I can’t thank you enough, great help.

Honestly everytime I visit this store I am amazed at how amazing the service is!! Today i was assisted by a gentleman Charlie, he helped me to load my car and just went above and beyond.

Came into store today needing something I knew nothing about, a young chap must have seen the confusion on my face and offered to help. The store was very tidy and well stocked. Made my shopping experience a whole lot easier. Charlie is an asset to the store. Thank you

Every time I come into Wickes I’m greeted with a smile and helpful staff (even the security guard is alway smiling). Great store love coming here.

I came to Wickes in search of a tv bracket and was helped by a few members of staff on different occasions the first was Ben who was extremely helpful in helping me choose, unfortunately it was the wrong size so on return I was helped by Dan Charlie & Brandon who provided an amazing service 10/10.

Anerley store, usually the staff are good, I shop there quite often. This time things were different.

9:45am this morning. 24th September. I was there this morning returning some wood.

It’s about the lady serving at the till. She was the one wearing the blue gloves and face mask.

The 2nd customer before me in the line got talked to like dirt. It was embarrassing and really bad. She was so abrupt. The fact she was wearing a face mask as well make it hard to understand her and her very strong accent. She got frustrated that the old man she was serving didn’t understand her.

Then the customer in front of me tried to help her by taking things out of the trolly and onto the counter and she abruptly told him not to. When he politely asked her to stop shouting, she started having a go at the customer. Then she had a coughing fit, and walked out the door briefly, came back and was again very stroppy.

I called another member of staff over and she was very kind to all customers and was her usual polite and helpful self. I could see this other member of staff was upset at how her colleague was acting.

I felt compelled to write this as in this store the staff are usually very decent. You could probably do with a couple more staff on the tills at times, but the politeness and helpfulness of staff is usually high. On this occasion though, this (I think new) member of staff was the opposite, and I think she is going to lose a lot of business for you guys, as well as upset her colleagues, which is a shame.

Anyway. I hope she’s on her probation and isn’t too hard to remove the bad apple from a this usually lovely bunch of apples.

Very pleasant experience at wickes store in Anerley. The staff was very helpful, in particular Charlie who went extra mile to accommodate my request.
