Went in to get a few things and realised the timber was a bit too big for the car. Spoke with Jill H and she was super friendly and helpful and told us about the delivery options. She was also very kind to our dog Basil and gave him a treat which means he's a friend for life

From start to finish, my experience with Wickes Aberdeen has been brilliant. Ashley, the design consultant, was great — clearly very experienced and made the whole process incredibly easy. The design stage was thorough and well explained, and Ashley guided me through every detail with confidence and care. Ordering was straightforward, everything was organised and clearly explained. A genuinely stress‑free experience and I’m delighted with the service.

Aditi Joshi helped us design our kitchen and was absolutely fantastic. She was patient through all of our questions and design tweaks. She understood what we were going for and made recommendations throughout. She was so helpful that once our kitchen is fitted, we intend to go back for her to design our bathrooms.

Had a great experience in a well stocked clean store in Westhill. Jill H was extremely helpful, kind and courteous.

Aditi was very thorough, our quote is a bit complicated where we're looking for a bathroom and shower en-suite.
She made great suggestions and took on board our preferences.

We spent two hours with Iditi and were impressed with the skill and knowledge of her computer programs and her ability to communicate her ideas with her customer. She was kind and patient. Thank you Iditi

Excellent customer service. I was unsure which product would suit the job I was doing from the wide range of stock. I spoke with Jill H who took the time to help me and ended up choosing a better quality product than I intended. Makes a big difference when your staff know what they are selling!

Went into wickes at westhill aberdeenshire to buy an item that cost WAY LESS than b&q. There was a young man at the checkout whose name is Tayo who is friendly and courteous, asked me how my day was going. Tayo is a credit to this store and will definitely shop here again. Please pass my thanks on.

Aditi was incredibly patient with my lack of proper details brought to the appointment (I've a lot of reno to do before the kitchen is measurable) and especially given the appointment ran long. Huge range of options with a really clear visualiser, and a useful selection to mix and match in store

I spent £178.00 on fencing and timber from Wicks, Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
Got a message yesterday saying delivery would be between 7am and 11am this morning so arranged work, assistance and time around being here for delivery.
Waited patiently until after 11am before phoning the Westhill depot.
The girl who answered the phone was pleasant enough but proceeded to inform me the delivery driver didn’t turn up today!
So rather than phoning me or texting me first thing this morning, I had to wait until after the delivery time elapsed to then have to phone them to be told this.
So now, no idea when delivery will be, they have £178.00 of my money and not even the decency to contact me to find out when it will be convenient for me take delivery. As for an apology, I won’t hold my breath.
Is this what customer service is now? Absolutely disgusting and a horrible company to deal with.

Update… I got a call at 12:20 from an incompetent female telling me my delivery wasn’t coming, told me it wasn’t her fault and get it Thursday or get my money back. They really are the worst customer service people I have come across in a very long time. Absolutely terrible.
If senior staff can’t deal with angry customers they really shouldn’t be in the position where they are dealing with customer complaints. Knowing the difference between angry and shouting is not difficult and also not difficult to deal with by apologising and taking responsibility, not playing victim and lashing out at the customer.
Maybe I’m just old fashioned but I was always led to believe customer service is the face of any business.
If this was the face of Wicks it’s not a very nice face.
The atmosphere in this store created by certain members of their staff is awful and I certainly won’t be returning as it is not a good environment to shop in.

Sejal was really helpful when I came in looking for something to fix drafty holes in my windows. She was really knowledgeable and helpful x
