Amazing Amazing Iiva is truly Amazing. Latvia as a place is incredible stunning a stunning place well recommend going a day or two early to see the sights and food is excellent.. The Hospital in Sigulda was Amazing and staff were excellent. I was worried about the surgery but why I don't know.. It was a good experience and even when I'm home they checked on me. Perfect perfect I can't rate it enough x thank you Ilva

From contacting Ilva with regards to a Gastric Bypass, after the team and hospital being highly recommended by my cousin, who previously had a gastric bypass by the team everything about my care was excellent. Ilva rang me numerous times, paperwork completed with ease, verbal health checks done thoroughly and me given the plan of action for on my arrival. Ilva, who is a beautiful person, professional explains everything on arrival, picks you up, settles you in hotel, takes you for pre tests and takes you to the hospital for your operation. Dr Oleg, also lovely and extremely professional sees you prior to op for a consultation, then Carrie's out the procedure and sees you every day after before discharging you. All the hospital staff are lovely, caring and even if not fluent in English find a way to converse. Once discharged Ilva sees you safely back to airport. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend weightloss Latvia to anyone. You couldn't be in better hands. I'm so happy I proceeded with my procedure, as yet my weightloss is 5 stone...I'll always be thankful to Ilva, Dr Oleg and hospital staff.

Life changing experience - Sleeved March 2024
From the very first enquiry with the company and Ilva, I knew I had made the right decision about where to have my weight loss operation. Latvia is a beautiful place and I feel blessed to have visited and will be back. The whole process was so organised, from travelling, support, being picked up and dropped back to the airport and being taken care of in the hospital with genuine care. Originally wanted a Gastric Bypass, but had a Gastric Sleeve instead due to initial test results which has been the best decision ever, weight loss to date is nearly 3 stone and is slow and steady. Want to thank Ilva so much for also supporting my husband with booking nearby hotels so he could visit me every day. Dr Oleg, surgeon, listened and answered any questions as I was naturally nervous being in a different country. I have transformed my life in a way I wouldn't have been able to do in the UK. My life is now beginning in my late 50's so never too old to transform your life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Firstly I'd like to give a huge thank you to Ilva and Dr. Olegs, They both have changed my life and I'll forever be thankful.

Booking the surgery and travel was extremely easy after having a free consultation with Ilva, I immediately felt at ease going forward as it's clear the main focus of Weight Loss Latvia is your health.

Any questions I had both during and after the consultation was answered quickly and honestly, When I arrived in Latvia I was escorted to the Hotel by a driver and picked in the morning by Ilva for my post Op checks. Ilva is extremely friendly and welcoming and really felt safe in her care.

The hospital was immaculate and clean, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I had my own room which also helped me with my nerves.

Ilva would also visit me when I was in the hospital to check on me which is honestly so sweet of her to do so, I really felt like I had a friend in Ilva during my whole time in Latvia.

Dr Olegs is an amazing surgeon and it's clear his patients care and interests are where his heart is. We had gone through surgery options and had a little talk about what to expect and if I had anymore questions prior to the surgery.

After the surgery the care I received was amazing, the night nurse on shift was readily available for any questions or reports of discomfort (I was barely in pain which is another massive credit to Dr Olegs)

Once back in my room the nurses would frequently check in on me to make sure I was okay and not in any pain. Once again the level of care completely wipes the NHS.

After a few days in hospital I retuned back to the my hotel and then back home, I've had zero complications and Ilva frequently checks in to see how I'm progressing. Absolutely amazing service, I had my surgery on the 19th March and today it's the 31st May, my recent weigh in at the doctors has confirmed I've lost 4 stone already. 5*

I'd highly recommend Weight Loss Latvia over the rest and would encourage those who are looking to better their health to contact Ilva, after meeting with different surgeons it's clear their goals are more financially motivated but not Weight Loss Latvia, Your health is their focus and you're not made to feel like you HAVE to do this after the consultation.

Thank you Ilva & Dr. Olegs you have completed changed my life! I've been to 2 music concerts and have a holiday booked in September, I feel amazing and it's all down to you both!

From the beginning of my journey Weight Loss Latvia were and still with me every step of the way. Answered every question I had, never made to feel uncomfortable, from surgeon to hospital employees and Ilva everyone of them so kind and caring and very very friendly go over and beyond.

I had my surgery done early this year. Lost 38kg until today, I'm following the suggested guidelines for my daily diet and feeling great!

I would really recommend this place. I am 3 months post op and feeling wonderful (lost 20 kg already). My surgeon Oleg visited me on a daily basis always advising and explaining in great detail. All nursing staff were kind,considerate,and caring. Ilva has a special place in my heart. She's been with me from the start, looked after me, and supported me. Thank you all for this great experience!

The whole experience was great. They treated me with care and understanding. All my questions were answered and I felt informed and respected. WLL was exceptional and I highly recommend them for anyone considering the surgery!

Wow where to start.
From the first point of contact you hear from the lovely Ilva and she is so lovely and so helpful to talk to.
Information provided is easy to understand and follow.
Knowing someone is coming to meet you from the Airport when your going on your own is so reassuring. I wasn’t worried at all about going on my own in fact as someone who has anxiety I felt so reassured by Ilva prior to traveling.
Hotel was lovely. Test done following morning again Ilva comes to meet pick you up and stays with you the whole time.
Then taken to the hospital which is lovely and clean, you get your own private room. Everyone that looked after me was so lovely. You get to see Dr Oleg several times while your in the hospital and he is also brilliant at reassuring you and answering any questions.
If I could go back for follow up surgery EG tummy tucks etc in the future the first place I would go is to Ilva and Dr Oleg.

I had no complications with my surgery, I was well looked after and I know I can message Ilva when ever I need for support.

Like anyone making this decision, it can be nerve wracking especially going to a different country. I cannot say enough about Ilva and Dr Oleg. They are amazing people. The care I received over the was outstanding and it is so efficient and organized so well. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they have given me. I would highly recommend them.

Myself and my Husband had a bypass on the 27 Oct 2020, we received great communication and treatment and care from llva and Dr Olegs and all the staff. We were so well looked after and had a great experience throughout, would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of weight loss surgery

What can I say except, SUPERB!
My daughter and I both had my surgery in January 2022. From the minute we stepped off the plane we felt in safe hands. Because we arrive late in the night, we got a taxi to the hotel. The taxi driver was the most welcoming, kind and helpful man. Explaining how things work in Latvia, how to order food etc.
Ilva came the next day and drove us to the hospital for out tests. Despite covid restrictions everything was very organised and went smoothly, because Ilva walked us through everything. She then drove us to Sigula and to the hospital where we settled in.
Dr Oleg is a kind and friendly man, with a great sense of humour who always has time to discuss any worries you may have. We did have a problem and this was dealt with quickly, efficiently and at no extra cost.
Following surgery, the ward staff took excellent care of us. Most of them speak good English, but the odd ones don't. This was easily overcome with Google translate and we were laughing in seconds. We stayed in hospital 3 nights and were visited by Dr Oleg every day. Ilva also paid regular visits and was always at the end of the phone. We were then discharged to a nearby hotel where recovery was uneventful. In total, we were in Latvia for a week.
These people truely care about their patients and Ilva is your rock. Anything you need, even after you have gone home, she is happy to discuss with you. She is a truly kind, gentle, caring, soul.
I am a nurse and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to you!

I am so glad I decided to go with weight loss Latvia and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I have never been so well looked after in a hospital. Ilva was amazing throughout in her knowledge and answering any and every questions I had and so lovely and reassuring when we met in person. Dr Olegs was equally as great - he was so lovely and professional and spoke through everything with me to ease my worries, and visited me every single day to check on me even over the weekend. The nurses were all so lovely and you are so well looked after. I even asked ilva if they would start doing skin surgeries as I really wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for surgery now!
