I don’t think anybody is a real fan of estate agents and some of our recent interactions with different ones have been less than enjoyable….. so dealing with Tom and Dan at Watts and Morgan was a breath of fresh air. Not only were their rates reasonable and substantially less than the ‘bigger’ estate agents, they were much nicer to deal with than the so called larger companies too, they were professional, efficient and incredibly helpful. Having used several different estate agents over the years and having only experienced good service a couple of times, it was extremely pleasing to feel like we were being looked after every step of the way. Communication was spot on and nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately the house we’ve just purchased was via a different estate agent and the difference in the quality of service is huge. It just highlighted how lucky we were to have gone with Tom and the team. Thank you to everyone at Watts and Morgan, we will definitely use you again in the future and I strongly suggest that anybody reading this gives them a go too.

I used Watts & Morgan Bridgend for my recent house sale. They were excellent, we had a quick sale and an excellent price for our house. No complaints at all

I would just like to say that as useful as these platforms can be unfortunately anyone can post a totally one sided review which can be hugely damaging to a business and defamatory to an individual. Unfortunately Jemma isn't sharing the whole story. They caused huge delays in the process, were obstructive, significantly delayed the process and held our client, the vendor, to ransom at the last stage for a price reduction. Sadly other parties can cause a transaction to be unnecessarily stressful and behave in a very inconsiderate and selfish way. Their behaviour was disappointing to say the least. As I am now retired I can respond in this way and say that Watts and Morgan are a professional and highly regarded family run business of many years standing. These buyers sadly were badly behaved.

I can’t tar the whole company with the same brush, but unfortunately our experience with Jayne, who handled our purchase, was disappointing from start to finish.

The property was significantly overvalued, which caused unnecessary delays in the process. From that point on, communication became increasingly frustrating. Emails often came across as sarcastic and pressuring, to the extent that we ended up asking our financial advisor to deal with them on our behalf just to avoid the tone.

What stood out most was the lack of professionalism and basic customer care on completion day. After purchasing a half-a-million-pound home, we expected at least a simple “congratulations” or some acknowledgment of what should have been a really exciting milestone. Instead, we were handed a set of keys with no enthusiasm or courtesy, and told the rest would be posted. That was it.

Buying a home is a big moment, and this one felt completely flat due to the lack of care and communication.

Based on this experience, I wouldn’t choose to use them for any future property sales.

Leaving one star review but woud be zero if I could! Highly recommend staying away from this estate agent, have no interest in the clients/seller, all they want is a quick sale.
The agent who came to value our house, I nearly asked her to leave.
She had no respect for my home, didnt offer to take her shoes off had a quick look round, rudly under valued my home to the point I felt she was mocking me for rejecting her valuation. Spouted out nonsense that if I try to market it at what I want the mortgage company will want to come in and have a look around, went on to use stamp duty as a hurdle even though I was willing to cover this cost and first time buyers are actually are exempt.
Decided to go with a proper estate agent, house sold within 24 hours to a first time buyer and £25k more than what Watts & Morgan said i could possibly scrape to get!

I was interested in viewing a property with them but they don’t answer the phone in the Bridgend office and certainly don’t answer emails what a shocking outfit

I can’t speak highly enough of Watts & Morgan. I have been a tenant with them for 3 years, always very responsive & helpful. Then purchased the property I was living in and again, amazing service and genuinely helpful, especially Sarah and Jodi.

Watts and Morgan were not my estate agent, they sold me my house. However without them, and in particular without Sarah in the Penarth branch, my property purchase would not have happened.
Sarah went above and beyond to make sure that the sale went through and I cannot thank her enough. She is a wonderful person.

W&M lost us the sale of our property. The solicitor reported that the seller was annoyed at the lack of updates from W&M. Avoid if you'd like to sell your property.

We’re currently in the process of a formal Subject Access Request and deposit dispute with this agency.

At the initial viewing, the agent openly apologised for the poor condition of the property—specifically mentioning the unpleasant smell of wet dog and the previous tenant’s paintwork. Because these issues were acknowledged by the agency themselves, we didn’t feel the need to raise a formal complaint. Instead, we resolved the problems ourselves, trusting that this goodwill would be reflected at the end of the tenancy.

Sadly, that hasn’t been the case. We’re now facing what we feel are unjustified deposit deductions, and are currently seeking full documentation under GDPR. If needed, we will escalate to the ICO and TDS.

We’ll update this review depending on how the situation is handled going forward.

We sold our house through Watts and Morgan in Bridgend and were really impressed with their efficiency, knowledge and kindness. The market was very buoyant then fell to completely flat during the time we were trying to sell. We had two sales fall through, one the day before exchange. Throughout, Talia was really helpful with her sound advice and she and Rebecca pulled out all the stops for us. We especially thought their communication was excellent, we always got thorough feedback on viewings very quickly and they were always easy to contact, which made the whole process much less stressful. Jane was also really helpful in progressing our sale, in constant touch with the buyer and their solicitor and always letting us know what was happening. Thank you Watts and Morgan, Talia, Rebecca and Jane made a really stressful time much easier and we're very glad we chose you as our agents!

Absolutely disgusting! Anyone who wants to rent and negotiate with Jodi Cavaliere, don’t!! Landlord did not secure bond and no Deposit Certificate provided as stated by JC. Landlord tried to keep hold of my money and Jodi Cavaliere appeared to go out of her way to find fault with the state of the property when I left. Wasn’t interested in helping, previous tenants also didn’t receive their bond back. DO NOT RENT 41 Clos Y Cwarra, St, Fagans. Rouge landlord produced fake invoices to try and keep deposit. Ended up going to court and I was awarded full payment of deposit and costs.

These people are totally useless. They are only in to get their money. Put my family through hell for 5 years , and we are still having problems with druggies!!!Amateurs!!!! 👎👎👎👎

For a 6 month let, the landlord wanted us to pay 6 months (£6k) upfront AND have a guarantor!!!

Agent couldn’t grasp how ridiculous this request was.
