From start to finish, Wards (Portishead) have been fantastic- friendly and personal yet extremely professional. We have just moved, plus made new wills, and would highly recommend them. We will definitely continue using them as the needs arises in the future.

having been earlier rebuffed by my local office i was contacted by another nearby wards branch they were polite apologetic and the conveyance was fast efficient and they provided an excellent service . i feel guilty for writing my previous negetive review and would recommend them

They were "fine" for the most part - no better or worse than other conveyancing solicitors I've used. i.e. it's not entirely clear what they really do for the large amount money you pay, and you end up chasing things up yourself when nothing has happened for a while. Par for the course.
However, a disappointing lack of communication on the day of exchange caused an unnecessary hold up and "late key" charge from my removals company, for which Wards refused to take any responsibility. OK, it was only £80, but an apology for the time wasted and additional stress caused would have been nice.
