Our holiday was a perfect blend of wine, walking and special memories. Everything was so well organised but relaxed and we were led by an amazing team, Brett, Barisa and Maria who introduced us to wine and walking in exquisite countryside, charming villages and local history. Bringing the glorious landscape to life with fascinating stories and insights.
The wine tasting and food paring was a real highlight especially visiting family run wineries, sampling the delicious wines and learning about the traditional winemaking techniques.
If you love authentic travel, walking and wine then I would highly recommend this holiday.

Brett, the owner, along with Maria and Barisa, our wonderful tour guides, made this trip absolutely unforgettable. They were funny, helpful, and genuinely delightful — it truly felt like being with family in the best possible way.
The tour itself was fantastic, taking us to a variety of incredible places that went beyond the usual tourist spots. The wines were exceptional, and every winery we visited had gracious, welcoming hosts.
The pacing of the tour was perfect — a great balance between planned activities and relaxing downtime. Nothing ever felt rushed or forced, just effortlessly enjoyable from start to finish.
All in all, I cannot recommend this vacation more highly. It was an amazing experience that I will treasure for a long time.

So this was my first trip to Croatia so had no idea what to expect but the prospect of wine & walking & seeing the stunning scenery certainly made it appealing
All I can say is that Brett(co owner of company) & our 2 Croatian guides were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them & they made sure that everyone in the group was happy .
The one day when we couldn’t go out due to the weather turned into a day of fun & laughter & ended with a wine quiz .
There is so much I could write but I think just to say it was amazing is enough .

From the start to the end of this amazing week everything was organised. The hotel was superb, the guides were very knowledgeable and the vineyards, food was exceptional. I would thoroughly recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future .

The guide information was excellent. The tour was well planned, with the right balance of history, local knowlege, walking, wine and food. Everything ran so smoothly and I did not have to worry or think about logistics for the entire week. Very good value for money. We saw and experienced so much more than we could ever have organised ourselves. We had a real variety of excursions. The hotel was such a high standard as was the wine tours and meals out. We experienced some real hidden gems and it was fascinating to hear and meet locals. A huge thank you goes to Brett and his team.

What a week! - walking, wine and wonderful company

I’ve just returned from an incredible week with Walk & Wine Croatia, and it truly exceeded all expectations.

Brett, (joint owner) who joined us for the trip, clearly loves what he does — his enthusiasm, energy and quiet leadership set the tone for the whole week. He’s built a fantastic team in Bariša and Marija, our guides, who were simply superb. Their deep local knowledge, humour and affection for each other made every walk both fun and fascinating. They adapted the routes daily to suit the group, which meant everyone could relax and enjoy themselves without feeling pushed too hard.

The scenery was breathtaking — from hidden coves to charming hilltop villages — and I came away with a newfound love for Croatia. The hotel was exceptional, with great service, delicious food, a lovely spa, and just a stone’s throw from the beach (for those brave enough for an October dip!).

The winery visits were the icing on the cake. It was inspiring to see such passion and pride from the winemakers, not only as they presented their wines but in the care they put into their vineyards and cellars.

Each day followed a perfect rhythm of walking, learning, laughing, and sharing wonderful meals and wines together. I’d never joined a guided group holiday before — I wasn’t sure it would be for me — but how wrong I was! The combination of people, place and purpose made it a truly memorable experience.

We have travelled to Croatia previously but this itinerary appealed as it took us off the beaten track. We were particularly taken with the spectacular Imotski lakes and the St.Anthony Canal walk was exquisite. Our tour leaders Barisa & Marija were exceptional as was the choice of vineyards and restaurants. Being in a nice luxury hotel for the week was also inspired as it meant less faffing around moving from hotel to hotel. It also meant we could enjoy the facilities. I swam each morning which was a lovely way to start the day. A well designed and run tour indeed.

Walk and Wine Croatia was the best part of our European leg of our vacation. Amazing from start to finish. From the fine dining, family vineyard visits to old town walks and admiring the panoramic coastal views. Everything was so well arranged by yourself and local team. I must say Marija and Barisa are outstanding guides. They were wonderful and vibrant personalities. Certainly adding to the small group travelling experience. Hard to pick out a highlight, as you asked. Possibly for myself the Krka Waterfalls followed by the pairing dinner. My husband adored the coastal walk and visiting Sibenik. Hotel Plaza Duce was a great choice. We liked the fact that we saw so much within the region and not having to move locations. We would highly recommend this week of easy walks, gorgeous wines, meeting like-minded adults and seeing the real Croatia.

It was a very enjoyable experience, not as much walking as a normal walking holiday, but the right blend of walks, culture, fine dining and vineyard visits. Fantastic scenery, highlight was the RIZMAN Estate, which was voted recently as the most beautiful winery in the world. We'd have to agree. Our group was 16 people, a mixture of British, Americans, Norwegians and Australians. Everyone brought a delightful note to 7 nights away. We loved the fact, it was a one-centered stay, without the hassles of multiple stay locations, which means you can actually unpack and settle. The hotel was a very high standard, indoor and outdoor pools and next to the beach. We flew into Split, but half the group had come from Dubrovnik. It's an exceptional experience, which we'll cherish forever. The tour leaders are 5 stars and really add the magic. Thank you for a wonderful time.
