I had a problem with my phones network…
I had a problem with my phones network connection for 3 weeks. Phone calls to vodafone didn't solve the issue, so I went to pontefract voda shop. Lesley followed every procedure till she reached the conclusion that only a deep reset by voda technicians would put the phone back on the network. It could have taken 72 hours with no mobile phone, but it had to be done! It actually took around 2 hours and my phone was receiving texts and calls were clear and no longer cutting connection or going dumb.
A previous 'network issue' had been solved but my phone number was 'forgotten' by the machine.
Im SO Grateful for all the help over the period I was having problems, but Lesley is the Jewel In Vodafones Crown, and staff members like her are the reason why I've stayed with Vodafone for 26 years.
Lesley is a star 🌟 I want her Great contribution recognised by the company. LESLEY cut No Corners, (other advisors fobbed me off) She kept pushing till she solved the issue once and for all. Staff members like her MAKE companies! Please recognise this!

Recommend the team at Pontefract
We needed help and advice on changing our Wifi and landline package because of how much we were being charged by our current provider.
I cannot praise Julia - store manager of Pontefract enough. She has saved us hundreds of pounds. Taking so much time and care to make sure all our needs were being covered and we were not paying for something we would not use. She was helpful, patient and not at all pushy.
I would recommend anyone who's bills have gone up with their existing company to check out what Vodaphone has to offer. Thank you to Julia and the team at Pontefract

Upgrade gone wrong
Very disappointed to be honest. Me and my husband have been customers for years now and upgraded our phone plan to the newer iPhones. I managed to get mine but my husband has been waiting 10 days with no updates as it says awaiting stock? For a black iPhone 15! Makes no sense if they have one in pink I’m sure you have one in black. We have been into store to complain and was told someone would call me within 24 hours which they didn’t! Also been on live chat 4-5 times. I bet new customers get things straight away though. New Phone
I visited vodafone in Pontefract on 6 March 2025 to discuss purchasing a new phone. I am not very tech savvy but I spoke to Mark who was very helpful and took me through the process. As a result I came away with a new phone with all my data installed.
I am very pleased with the service I received
