I recently purchased two pieces of jewellery from the Village Goldsmith. The decision was made much easier by the friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated staff and of course, the selection of original jewellery that this store is known for.

6 stars experience, if you are a clueless dude like me just simply go into the store and see Chelsea! She helped me with engagement ring, and then she showcased her talent and help us designed a beautiful Wedding Ring. 12/10 customer service from Chelsea and the crew.

Purchased my husband wedding band from here as he wanted a specific make that had almost brush lines on it. The Village Goldsmith was the only place in NZ that made jewelry of that kind. So I placed an order immediately. He absolutely adores it! It also came in absolutely beautiful wooden box which was a total surprise. Definitely a keep sake that we have engraved now too!

Alteration of heirloom jewellery piece
Charlotte at VG arranged for an alteration of a pendant that my mother gave me on her passing 2 years ago. It has taken some time to consider what I would do with it, and Charlotte was amazing and very caring when discussing this with me. I am so thrilled with the final result and take so much joy from wearing it. I would not hesitate to recommend The Village Goldsmith to anyone wanting alterations done to heirloom jewellery.

So easy to deal with
So easy to deal with, customer service is excellent; I have always been served by very helpful pleasant and friendly staff. Their workmanship is excellent. I have had several rings repaired, one of them was an unsatisfactory job done by another company which Village Goldsmith repaired perfectly. I have also had a necklace remade. Their quotes are exactly what I paid and items exactly as they promised. Their showroom is full of beautiful jewelry, something for everyone.
