My experience with this initiative has been very disappointing.

The biggest issue was the constant confusion around the application deadlines. Initially, the last date was announced as 19 July, then it was changed to 26 July, then again to 31 July, and later 30 July. These repeated changes created unnecessary stress and made the entire process feel poorly managed.

Another major concern is the lack of transparency in the selection process. The results were not presented clearly, making it difficult to understand who was selected and on what basis. Because of this lack of clarity, I was left questioning whether the process was fair. Several of my friends who also applied shared similar concerns and felt that the selection process was not transparent enough.

A program of this scale should communicate updates clearly, maintain consistent deadlines, and provide a transparent selection process that gives applicants confidence in the outcome.

Unfortunately, my experience left me frustrated rather than encouraged.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the Vande Bharatam Initiative.

I submitted my application along with a professionally prepared pitch deck and an interactive presentation website. Since I use analytics and tracking tools, I could see that my pitch deck was not viewed completely, and my presentation website was never even opened.

If these analytics are accurate, it raises serious concerns about whether applications are being reviewed thoroughly. Preparing a quality submission takes significant time, effort, and dedication. As an applicant, I expected every submission to receive at least a genuine review before any decision was made.

I also experienced technical issues with the official submission portal around the application deadline, which made the process even more frustrating.

I truly support initiatives that encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, but transparency and fairness are essential. If applicants invest their time into preparing detailed proposals, they deserve confidence that those proposals are actually being evaluated.

I hope the organizers improve the review process and communicate more openly with applicants in future editions.
