We had some roof windows that were not a standard size and this was the only company that actually stocked the correct size without having to start cutting them. I was worried about getting the measurements wrong but they were so helpful.
The vale for keylights were so easy to put up and they look great. We bought the 'metal' colour which is a lovely light shade of grey.

I ordered an extra-wide Luxaflex blackout roller blind.

Things I liked:
► It actually works, I didn't expect to find a blind wide enough to span my large window.
► It has a beautifully smooth operation both up and down.
► It looks fantastic. The end brackets are really slim and neat.
► Nice metal bead chain with no apparent joins.
► The mechanisms come as ready-assembled as they can be, chain already threaded.
► Quick response from customer service to any query.
► Lots of choices on the website.

Things I didn't like:
► Not clear on the website that the "Exact" measurement option means the distance between the brackets, not the width of the material that you are going to get.
► No delivery tracking, although it did arrive on the day that customer services estimated.
► Minimal installation instructions. i.e. those you see at the time of ordering are all you will get.
► The chain is too short...although they claim that is a safety thing.
► Being big and heavy, needs two people to install. (Can't avoid that one.)
► It wasn't cheap!

I would buy again from Vale Blinds.

Ordered a Venetian blind for a Velux - something I had difficulty sourcing before - and can’t recommend it enough. I am delighted with my blind, was able to install it myself with the instructions provided. No drill required! It looks great and affords so many options in terms of privacy/ light. The service and communication has been of a high standard throughout. Courteous, helpful and prompt. Many thanks!

Ordered velux Window pole online and speedy delivery which was free and best price online by far.

We ordered 2 blinds which were 2 cm different in width, one came with 2 tapes and the other with 3! The company refused to understand that the blinds looked silly on the same wall and said we had to buy a new one. A total lack of customer care considering we had waited 4 months and the first ones arrived half baked. The blinds were meant to be the same length but are not when closed. A cheap faulty product and the company refuses to give a refund. Steer clear!

Ordered blackout blinds for my little girls room that were not blackout at all. I'm not normally one to leave a review but these were so bad! Wish I could upload a picture to show you as I can't believe how much light they let in. Contacted vale blinds but they didn't want to know and said there was nothing wrong with them.

I contacted many companies to assist with a ceiling blind. Unfortunately, the one in situ had no manufactures plate so I had no reference other than window measurements. Of all firms, Vale Blinds were the only ones who bothered to respond or seemed interested in helping. From their (Alan was the chap who replied) experience, and my measurements, they were able to determine that it was a Roto blind and provided the necessary details for the window model and code. Taking a punt, I ordered and the blind arrived.
The fitting instructions aren’t brilliant but I had the new blind in place in less then 30mins. The first time I have ever fitted one.
It looks great and my customer is extremely happy. And of course, the ‘black out’ blind does what it says on the tin. Thanks Alan and team.

Atrocious customer service.
After buying many geniune Velux blinds from this company, I decided to buy one of their generic brands, I wish I didn't.
Sub standard product and when I complained they wanted photos, not once, but 3 times.
I just wanted to change this product for a geniune Velux product which i have never had problems with.
I would never deal with this company again, the rudeness shown was unbelievable.
I don't know how companies like like this survive nowadays.

Excellent blinds, simple and quick to fit, fast delivery and cheapest I found online. No drill required just 4 screws in each blind and no packaging waste. Took my Mum and I 20 minutes to fit 2 blinds. We ordered the Vale for Roto blackout blinds. Blackout really effective, no light gets through. Have ordered another for the home office. Thank you!

First class service from Vale blinds, excellent from start to finish. Excellent if you need to ring up and query, offering little or no wait time and friendly service.

Ordered two vale velux compatible blinds, I have to say from start to finish I have been impressed. Entered the window code selected colour and within a week they were delivered. Fitting took less than 5 mins per blind and fitting the window exactly. Quality is very high and value for money. Great work vale. Well impressed

Excellence from start to finish. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Couldn’t use online ordering because of our postcode area and every phone call was dealt with impeccably. Received samples quickly and all 12 Roof blinds arrived within 48 hours even in these new covid restricted times. Blinds are exactly what we were looking for and so easy to fit, literally took less than 5 mins each. Couldn’t believe the amazing price either, especially given the superb quality and service we received. I’d searched for two years for the right blinds, Thank you Vale Blinds!

I required some clips for the pleated blinds I have on my conservatory roof. A gentleman from Vale Blinds contacted me within an hour of my order to confirm that they didn'have the number I had ordered and we discussed reducing the number. I asked if they could be posted rather than couriered and it was agreed. A confirmation of the order followed and the goods arrived a day or so later. I cannot recommend Vale Blinds more highly for the efficient and personalised service they gave me. I will use them again without question.

I have no hesitation in awarding Vale Blinds 5 stars for customer service. We wanted to order 3 Luxaflex roller blinds to fit in a 3 sided bay window and needed some technical advice in order to take accurate width measurements. My numerous attempts to get the information directly from Luxaflex failed, in my opinion due to the poor product knowledge of their customer service team. So I contacted Vale Blinds who were able to have some brackets sent to me so I could work out how to measure the blinds. I placed an order with Vale Blinds but delivery was delayed several months due to the pandemic, which no one could be blamed for. When they did finally arrive we found the bottom edge of one of the blinds was out of square so Vale blinds ordered a replacement from Luxaflex. I have now fitted the 3 blinds and we are happy with them. We like the quality of Luxaflex’s products but sadly this is not reflected in their customer service support. Fortunately thanks to Vale blinds, who did an excellent job dealing with Luxaflex, we got there in the end. I should also mention Vale Blind’s prices are very competitive.

Stockists of a type of Velux conservation blind that I'd had no luck getting elsewhere. Arrived very quickly. Good service.

POOR QUALITY & WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICES!
had my blinds less than 2 years and both of them have broke, the cord has snapped.
i contacted them for some replacement cord to be told it wasn't a spare part they offered and to try a "local handy centre"

"BUY CHEAP BUY TWICE!" certainly applies to anything you buy from these guys

Purchased a couple of Keylite blinds through Vale Blinds and although I had horrible service through DPD and a faulty product direct from Keylite, Vale Blinds were fantastic is resolving all of my issues.

The blinds are actually not a bad quality. Arrived promptly as well. Installtion manual was the worst I've ever come across. No words, just very basic pictures. I had to watch various videos to try to figure it out. I almost broke it at one point, very frustrating. It's a shame really I would have given 5 starts because the actual blind is good quality.
