Missing snacks bad customer service instead of sending itemized receipt how I requested after I realized I’m missing snacks they ignored me. When I told them I’m missing my snacks they tried gaslighting me into saying my family ate some which is not true. Also the snacks that I did receive were not good such as the stale popcorn was stale that went right into the trash
Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful products. WHAT A BIG WASTE OF MONEY!! RUN! DO NOT BUY!!!!! All of the chocolate melted by the time it got here and made a mess with the other products in the box. I reached out to the company and they said all the chocolate was worth 50 cents, so they provided a 50 cent refund. Then, they came back and said they would refund the shipping, but didn't do that. I am shocked at the terrible customer service. I would not recommend this company and based on their product offering and customer service, they are sure to fail.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I ordered a 3 month mini box subscription for fathers day and they purposely hide the auto-renew information in the smallest fine print, when the consumer thinks they're purchasing a finite subscription. My plan was supposed to be a box shipped one month for 3 months, Then they send you the "auto-renewal" email which they know will go to your spam or junk folders so they can charge you extra for something you don't want, need or didn't enjoy. I've had plenty of subscription services in the past that will work with you on cancelations if the auto renewal occurs and you don't want to approve it before the product ships. This company does nothing and basically says "Oh well, we already have your money". I may have considered using this subscription box in the future but after dealing with their non-existent customer service, that either doesn't respond or says "tough luck" I cannot recommend this to anyone. Absolutely a scam. My advice is to find a more reputable subscription box. This is not worth it!!
Kind of Scammy
Their customer service was horrible! When initially purchased this as a gift for Father’s Day, it was not explicitly stated that it would reoccur, but they hide it in the additional fine print. I took screen shots of my order and confirmation and nowhere did it say that it would reoccur with the option I chose. Their customer service began responding to my emails asking questions and provided feedback then just never responded to my last email where I sent screen shots of my order confirmation showing that the package I purchased explicitly stated that it would only reoccur once a month for three months. NOT until cancelation. Kinda scammy. Purchasers beware.
No integrity/Bad Food
Many of the boxes came with the same things multiple times. Some foods had a terrible metallic taste and smell from the bags. We had a subscription and the auto renewed the subscription without an email. The only reason why we had one is because we had a gift card. We reached out the next day when they say it was processed through our card. No boxes were sent at this time and nothing was delivered. They still held us to the 6 month subscription that we can’t afford. I can understand maybe paying for one box but it wasn’t even sent or being processed at the time we reached out to the company.

Despite the nice curation of snacks that I gave to my daughter as a gift for 6 months, I had no intention of renewing. They did not provide any notice of the upcoming renewal, except for 1 day prior to which I promptly replied I did not wish to renew. They sent an email saying "You're breaking up with us?" And then promptly charged my credit card for a renewal and stated that because my email came 1 hour after the deadline, the cancellation was assumed to be for the 6 months after that!! What??? Stop the delivery now, stop the cheating the customer. Either run a valid subscription service and take care of the people who will be your customers and good adverstisements, or get out of the business!

The boxes were cool but i paid for a 1-time gift and somehow got charged for more. The reasoning being that their policy is to auto-renew even though that is an option when purchasing to which i said I didn't want to get reoccurring gift. Urthbox has terrible customer service on top of that. They are not helpful, they do less than the bareminimum and i highly recommend finding a more honest company to go with.

I subscribed to UrthBox Inc for what was advertised as a monthly delivery of healthy, high-quality snacks. Instead, I received a large box filled with food items that were either expired or set to expire within 24 hours or same week of delivery.
I immediately contacted customer service and followed up consistently, but they ignored me for nearly four weeks. During that time, they shipped another box I had explicitly asked them not to send.
When they finally replied, they refused to cancel my subscription, offered no refund, and instead offered to send me a “complimentary small box” filled with more low-quality items. Their support phone number never connects to anyone, ever.
UrthBox’s Terms of Service state they do not guarantee the quality or freshness of any product, do not allow returns, prohibit refunds after 24 hours (even for long-term subscriptions), and even include a waiver of class action rights. Their cancellation policies are deliberately obstructive and designed to trap customers in auto-renewing charges.
This is a deceptive and abusive subscription model that violates consumer trust and should be investigated.
