Got front door fitted. The company were very good from start to finish. Would definitely recommend them. Very happy with the finished product.

We wanted all new windows, new front door and new back door.
We were unsure who to go with, we had heard good things about UPVC Company through a friend and I’m so glad they did. Brilliant service we love our new windows and doors. We have two gentleman do the work for us one named Stef and didn’t get the name of the other one. But they were fantastic very professional covered all our furniture and flooring, and when they finished each day they tidied the full house, hoovering, leaving zero mess behind.

100% would recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much for the easy process and thanks for our windows and doors.

The ordering process was easy enough. However lack of communication is shocking. After being promised two dates, it was changed again. However third time lucky, and after five weeks as oppose to the promised three weeks I finally got my door. The fitters were lovely guys and I love my new door (fitters are outside contractors I believe). I have dealt with this company on several occasions without any issues but on this occasion the experience was not good.

Edit 26/02/2026 the company finally got in touch after many weeks/months. Not sure what happened there. Door replaced and considerable time spent making it fit properly. Many thanks to the excellent fitter and to Peter for finally resolving this. We now have a door that opens and close without breaking your wrist. I have updated this review and rating as promised to reflect this progress. I have kept it medium rating to reflect the hassle getting to here. Thanks again for resolving.

Original review in December 2025: So having sent a registered letter asking them to get in touch within 2 weeks to resolve a faulty door, again no response. So all we have left now is to go down legal route and to contact the ombudsman. Poor fitting, substandard product and service. We are now having to replace this door. Thank goodness for insurance covering our legal costs at least.

What a delightful experience! The entire process took 9 weeks, but unfortunately, I didn't end up with the desired outcome. Initially, the surveyor measured incorrectly. After a day's work, I anticipated seeing my new door installed, only to find it wasn't. It wasn't until I made two phone calls the next day that I received an explanation. A different surveyor visited, took accurate measurements, and adjusted my order from a low threshold to a standard door without consulting me. On the installation day, I requested a notification so I could verify everything was correct, but there was no contact, and unsurprisingly, it wasn't what I ordered. I've decided to part ways with them and now have a door that's not my choice. I wouldn't consider using their services again or recommending them.

Second time using the UPVC company this year after a composite door supply and fit in September. Just had 9 VEKA windows supplied and fitted by them. Highly recommend!!!!!. The service, quality and value is 1st class. Seamless from start to finish. Honest, reliable, tidy, efficient, just a thoroughly decent bunch of guys. Fitting by Jim and Stef was second to none as was the banter. Colin is the attention to detail manager, hard working, meticulous, very, very thorough, ensuring nothing has been missed. Tidiest workmen I have ever had in my home, both inside and out. Im sure my carpets were left cleaner than when they arrived after all the hoovering they did. Its been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Thankyou everone 👏👏👏

The UPVC Company fitted a new back door for me. The work was done efficiently and to a high standard. The quality of the door appears to be excellent. The cost of the job was very good value. Highly recommended.

First time I've used UPVC company and would confirm I am very pleased with the advice and service I received.I had a replacement back door fitted.The standard of workmanship and quality of the product was first class.The original timber frame was removed and a new upvc frame and door fitted without any fuss.All rubbish was removed.Fantastic job at a reasonable price.I would definitely use again and would highly recommend UPVC company.

UPVC Company are fantastic and fitted a new rear double door. Quick survey, quote given, exact measurements taken, door furniture and opening discussed, then date for fitting agreed. All happened according to plan and fitted by a very pleasant gentleman. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

I placed an order for windows on the 1st of November, supply only as we are based in Argyll. Turn around time was noted to be 15-20 days.
Living in argyll im used to orders taking longer, the logistics of delivery can be tricky.
Over the past couple of weeks I have emailed 3 times, once receiving a blank email in return, I emailed to inform that it was blank incase it contained any important information. Radio silence thereafter.
Today, 8th of December, I've decided I've been patient long enough and call to find out what's going on.
Peter, I think he mumbled his name was, couldn't have been less interested if he tried. Lied by saying they had been trying to contact me.
My number on the order is correct, I have had no missed calls, no left voicemails, no company initiated emails and no replies to emails I have sent.
He went on to inform the order hadnt been processed yet as they wanted to know if I would be happy to pay an extra delivery charge.
Do you know, if I had been contacted and asked, I would have happily paid the extra charge...
As it turns out the lack of communication, bare faced lies and complete disinterest has me taking my custom elsewhere despite the fact I will now have a longer wait time.

How hard is simple communication?

We had friendly and knowledgeable sales staff who were not pushy. We were given timescales for the work (new front door) which was carried out on time and to a high standard. The house was left spotless and clean after completion and the door looks great.

Great company that helped me to get the best deal I could. Very quick from appointment booked to fitting, lots of different options to choose from

UPVC company are the best in the business, this is the second time I’ve used UPVC Company and I cannot fault them, great product, great service and great price. I got new doors and windows installed yesterday and all the guys were so professional and left my house spotless! I have recommended them to all my friends and family. 5 stars across the board. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered an external door, promised installation in 3 weeks. Over 12 weeks later, no installation and zero proactive communication. Had to chase multiple times, promised callbacks never kept and even a formal email went unanswered. Would NOT recommend.

This is the second time we have used this company
The first time was for our doors and after getting them done we got them back in to complete our house by getting the windows done
We can’t thank the company enough for a outstanding job and friendly , reliable service

I have used this company on few occasions they never fail from start to Finnish and prices are very reasonable product really good quality

I had dealt with the company before so when I identified that my son required new windows and a front door I contacted Iain Black. He responded very promptly and was able to guide me on the products I may require. An order followed as the price was acceptable. Slight delay in work starting but this was due to a glass frame required above the external door which was supplied by a sub contractor. The UPVC team duly arrived, completed the work in a day, removed all old windows and door then hoovered the full house. My wife was pleased as she expected to do the hoovering and tidying up.

An absolute shambles.
All in it took 9 weeks and I still did not get what I wanted.
First surveyor took the wrong measurements. Came home from work expecting to find my new door fitted but had not been done. Never got an explanation until the day after when I had to phone twice to get an answer.
New surveyor came out took new measurements and changed my order from a low threshold door to a standard door without my say so.
On the day the new door was to be fitted I asked to be contacted so I could be there to make sure it was correct. I was not contacted and no surprise it’s not what I asked for.
Not wanting anything to do with them ever again so now left with the wrong door.
Would never use again or recommend to anyone.

First hand view of their installation of windows and doors for my neighbour so ordered a new back door professional workmanship left my home spotless
