An independent British company founded in 1981. Fuelled by the ferocity of punk and founded in it’s febrile aftermath in early 1980’s Manchester, Underground was born out of a love of renegade style. It was our iconic championing of the Creeper shoe at this time that reinstated subculture’s most subversive shoe to their warranted glory by trialling the boundaries of silhouettes, soles and materials. Now known the world over for our iconic styles and archetypes - Nox sneakers, Jungle boot, Winklepickers, Steel Caps, and Half-moon clothing, Underground products are made with a sense of irreverence at heart and define luxury subculture. Through our journey from Manchester to Soho - we remain independent, and at the forefront of subversive style. Alongside our collection of core Subversive shoe styles, we offer Custom Made shoes, our British Made Clothing Line: Half-moon and curated series of books, prints and vinyl. All with music and subculture at it's heart. At Underground England, we’re passionate about what we do, creating quality footwear that’s rooted in subculture and built to last. But we’re also human, and like many independent businesses, we’ve had our share of challenges. During a period after Covid, we struggled with some significant shipping and fulfilment delays. This led to frustration for some of our customers, and rightly so, we weren’t delivering the standard of service that people deserve. We’ve since worked hard behind the scenes to fix that. We’ve overhauled our logistics, built stronger supplier relationships, and added new systems to keep things running smoothly. Today, we’re dispatching orders on time, and we’re proud of the improvements we’ve made. We know some old reviews online still reflect that tough period. That’s why we’re asking our recent customers, if you had a good experience, please consider sharing it. Your voice helps others see how far we’ve come. To everyone who’s supported us: thank you. Imbarazzante

Servizio a dir poco imbarazzante. Ho acquistato una scarpa a fine settembre/ inizio ottobre 2022,non ricordo ormai più e l’ho ricevuta oggi. All’inizio mi era stato riferito dal customer care tale “Rinna” che stavano spostando la produzione, o non so cos’altro e di avere pazienza. Attendo ancora del tempo dove mi si promette uno sconto immane sul prossimo ordine(tra l’altro mai visto), finché non richiedo un rimborso per il mio acquisto. Quando avevo perso completamente le speranze, ricevo una mail che diceva che il mio ordine era in preparazione(giugno 2023). Scrivo ovviamente una mail di fuoco richiedendo nuovamente un rimborso totale, mail a cui nessuno ovviamente mai risponde. Finché oggi non ricevo le scarpe.
Consiglio? NON acquistate mai per nessuna ragione da questo sito.

First of all we have asked for more details so please send those to our customer service department and they will assist you.

Secondly we are delighted that you have received your shoe. We have been working through the backlog and as promised the orders are being completed.

I understand from our team, that you have been kept aware of the progress throughout and certainly your emails have not been ignored. We have checked our records further and do not seem to have received any mail from you as you have suggested
