I am writing this review with a heavy heart, as our son previously attended the Ultimate Camp at New Hall and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, his experience this Easter break has been the complete opposite due to a series of distressing incidents that have highlighted significant concerns regarding child safety and safeguarding.

From the first day of camp, our son was subjected to persistent bullying by another child. This included:
Verbal Abuse: Frequent insults regarding his intelligence.
Persistent Torment: Ongoing psychological distress through targeted behaviour.
Physical Assault: This culminated in our son being punched in the stomach.

The situation was visible enough that another parent contacted me to express concern, noting that her own child had come home upset by the treatment our son was receiving.

We raised these issues with the camp manager and requested that the children be kept separated to ensure our son’s safety. We were assured that staff would "keep an eye on him"; however, the physical assault occurred on the very same day this assurance was given.

When we called for clarity regarding the assault and to confirm if the other child would be present on the final day, the camp was unable to provide a definitive answer or a clear safety plan. Consequently, our son requested not to attend his final booked day to avoid further confrontation.

It is deeply disappointing that our son is the one missing out on his activities after a week of being targeted. While we previously held this camp in high regard, the lack of effective intervention and the failure to provide a safe environment after specific warnings are major concerns.

I believe there have been significant safeguarding failings in this instance, and I feel it is important for other parents to be aware of how these situations are managed. We hope the organisation takes this feedback seriously to ensure no other child has a similar experience.

Staff were very incredibly welcoming to two friends who were anxious about attending for the first time. Lots of different activities and new friends made by the end of the day. My daughter has already asked when she can go back!

We think the ultimate activity camp is the very best! We’ve tried other experiences, and they’ve fallen far short. We feel that is down to the staff at our location (Faringdon, St. Hugh’s). They are warm, knowledgeable, fun, and willing to work with campers on an individual level to help provide an outstandingly positive experience.

Excellent camp! Both my sons had a brilliant time and can’t wait to go back.

This was the first time our son attended holiday camp ever, and with Ultimate activity Camps and LVS Ascot. He loves all of the activities, especially swimming. Pick ups and drop offs are very easy, location is great. We look forward to signing him up for Easter and Summer

Cheryl and her team are absolutely wonderful in Faringdon. Always so kind and caring, but also highly organised and professional. The children have lots of activities and have grown in confidence. I’m never worried to leave them there and they are always happy to come back. It is always better to book with an offer to keep the cost down. Thanks.

My daughter was excited to go back for October Half-Term after going for the first time in the summer holidays.
It was the only camp she was happy to attend after trying quite a few. The staff really make it and I feel confident leaving her knowing she is happy and safe.

We were very lucky to have had such a dedicated and Ultimate(ly) happy team looking after our two daughters at Dean Close camp. Each day(of five), they arrived excited, they left happy, and at home were suitably exhausted from their wonderful daily pursuits. Thank you Becky and all the team. See you next time!

Our 8 year old twin boys spent a week at the Ultimate Activity Camp in Ascot and a week at the one in Cheltenham. Both experiences were absolutely wonderful. The level of kindness, professionalism and thoughtfulness was really impressive. Everyone we dealt with, from admin to camp counselors, really cared about our children, their well being and happiness. Highly recommend.

I am so impressed with the childcare provided here, especially with all the amazing activities they offer! The staff were fantastic, and I want to give a special shout-out to Cam, Izzy and Zach, who were incredibly helpful.They made the experience truly exceptional. Additionally, Ellie from customer service was excellent and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Ultimate Survival Holiday camp run at Reading Blue Coat School.

We had a great time at Newbury UAC. My son and daughter were both excited to go in every morning, the staff were all brilliant, especially the camp manager. We felt very safe leaving the children in their care.

As a parent I've been really impressed with your company, from booking the clubs online, discussing SEND requirements and speaking to staff at the camp and in the office. You have all been really kind, engaged and inviting.
I'm so happy to have found your company it really has made our summer. As SEND parents it’s always an extra worry hoping your child is going to be ok and want to attend camp each day, that worry totally disappeared this year, that really is due to the activities and people at camp.

Unfortunately there were many occasions they refused to give water for my 5 years old even he was asking for it. It looks like after 3pm they not allowed to fill up bottles even if the child is thirsty. Luckily yesterday I picked him up at 4.30pm instead of 6pm as planned, but previously he came home really thirsty because they are not filling his bottle even he asked many times.

The Ultimate Active camp at Godstowe is AMAZING. My daughter has tried 10 different other holiday camps and Ultimate Active is the only one she feels settled and happy in. The customer support centre and the camp staff are so SEND aware and make minor adaptations for my daughter, so she can not only relax but actually thrive! From go carting to creating crafts, not to mention so many games and sports, some of which I had not even heard of! The camp is safe and has great facilities including the pool that the children use almost every day. After 4 successful years of camps, we just keep on coming back!

My 6 year old daughter Lia attended the summer camp at the Fulham Cross Girls School in London Girls and absolutely loved it. We live in Italy, so English is not her first language, but she felt completely at ease and came home every day full of joy and energy. She kept telling me she couldn’t wait for the next morning to go back! At the end of the week, she said it was the best summer camp experience she has ever had, which really says a lot. From my point of view, the organization was impeccable, and I always felt reassured knowing she was in such good hands. A special mention for the Camp Manager Lexi, my daughter told me she was incredibly kind and caring, and that made the experience even more special.

First time for our kids this year at Rose Hill School in Tunbridge Wells. Well organised from the get-go, and the team were very professional and great with the kids. Better than your average summer camps, and our kids enjoyed going. Only slight gripe was at the extended time waiting in the morning and afternoon, there wasn't much for my son to do, but that was a small detail, which I think can be easily fixed.

A massive thank you for the team at Wellesley prep school Katie, Alex, Jess, Megan, Will and Molly. A superb group of young adults. My 9 year old daughter has tried new activities Zorbing, archery, Danish longball and so many more she also met some lovely new friends. She came home everyday content, tired and smiling ear from ear.
She had swimming each day attending ( 7 days over 3 weeks ) which she really enjoyed gave her a chance to cool off.
She was disappointed that today was her last day.
We will be back. Thank you so much for making Zoe’s summer so much fun.

NO SWIMMING for SUMMER CAMP!

My daughter joined the camp for 20 days and there is only 2 days for swimming. In the beginning, I was told the swimming pool was broken. Later, I was told there was no lifeguard. Everyday. In such a warm summer, it is a big big disappointment! And they just let it be. Is it really impossible to hire a life guard for an hour in Hampshire?
