Delighted with our replacement conservatory and Supalite roof. An excellent job and very happy with the workmanship. This is the third major project we have completed though THI and once again very happy with the finished product. All workmen visiting our house to complete the build were professional and friendly. Very happy to recommend.

Amazing company with superb customer experience from start to finish. Teams in sales (Michael you were fab) to make a tricky roof request happen. Team in dismantling the roof and on a weekend were excellent. Teams building the roof, teams plastering with a baby smooth finish, teams of electricians working long hours to finish the work were astonishing. The team in the office keeping me updated every step of the way and checking in was a fantastic touch. The banter between all the lads attending the job made me feel they represented a company with superb customer experience at the heart of their values. They really did graft! Highly recommend this company to anyone.

We have just had our conservatory transformed with a Supalite tiled roof by Tyneside Home Improvements, and we are absolutely over the moon!
The whole experience from beginning to end exceeded all our expectations, and it was completed on time without any problems whatsoever.
I must point out, that this was the only company, out of 4, that gave full advice with regards to Building Control, and what would be legally required. All credit to Dan for his knowledge and advice, as this was one of the main factors for choosing THI, alongside the Supalit system they use.
We were allocated Anthony as point of contact throughout the 4 day job. He gave us clear advice as to what would be happening throughout the process, and when. This all went perfectly to plan, with an incredible workforce.
All the workmen from roofers, plasterer to electrician were very polite, respectful and extremely hard working. They cleaned up at the end of every day, leaving us with minimal mess.
After our experience with THI, we would highly recommend this company without hesitation.

Fantastic experience from Tyneside Home Improvements, taking down our old tired conservatory and replacing with a beautiful orangery.
The quality of workmanship from all the team was brilliant, even when we asked to make some changes along the way, they were able to accommodate us without hesitation.
We are delighted with the final product; a room which we will enjoy all year round.

Thank you to the full team at Tyneside Home improvements for the work conducted on our conservatory to transform it into a room we can enjoy all year around. We had the supalite tiled roof put on our 13-year-old conservatory by Joe and Joel who worked without hesitation through very heavy snow, hailstone and rain over a 2 day period. Joe and Joel worked hard to complete the job and kept us updated on every step of the transformation. To thank Joe and Joel for their continued work through the worst weather this year, Coffee and Tea was on tap, however they must have heard about my cooking because they refused by bacon buttie, which was most unusual.
Luke - who came to do our plastering the day after, was great. He kept us updated with the process and talked to us about the insulation, the plaster boards, and the timeframes of what to do about leaving the plaster to dry. Luke and his colleague worked hard over 2 days to make sure the plastering was done to a high standard and that the edges, covering and presentation of the work was done with precision, care and every detail of the corners were finished to my satisfaction. Luke and his colleague were chatty, easy going and made me feel relaxed about the work that was being carried out.
Thank you to the admin team i.e Charlotte, who kept communications with myself and husband around every step the process from the initial contact to the end evaluation. And thank you to the electrician who fitted our spot lights and dimmer in record time, most efficient and tidy job done of the lights.

We had someone out to give us a quote to change our existing conservatory roof, first person to come out as we have only been in our new home for 7mths, the person who came out was absolutely vile, his manner was disgusting because we would not sign up to £9000 worth of debt straight away, we explained we had not had anyone else out and needed to do a bit more research into what was out there and he could not expect us to sign there and then, he basically told us he had been doing this job for 20+ yrs and knew when we were wasting his time. We were doing nothing of the sort but wanted to be sure of our decision, I would not go with this company if this is the kind of person they employ. We were absolutely furious with how he spoke to us in our own home and could not wait to get him out.

Had a glass roof replaced with a warm roof. Everyone involved from initial quote to completion of the job were, on time, polite, friendly, fantastic tradesmen and so pleasant to be around. Have no problems recommending this company.

Would highly recommend TYNESIDE HOME IMPROVEMENTS to anyone looking for triple glazing windows and installation. All windows replaced swifty by two professional and polite guys, with no mess (what i love), floors were protected, everything was cleaned up afterwards and windows are looking brilliant. It is quiet and warmer in my house now and there is no more condencation on the windows. I got a lot of compliments from my neighbours. Love my anthracite triple glazed windows !!!😊

Surprising how quickly our conservatory was built. Workmanship throughout was of the highest quality. All mess was cleaned up every evening.

Joe and Joel who fitted the roof, Steve and Gav who done the plastering were great.Very polite, hard working, never stopped and very very tidy.Any mess that was there, got tidied up before they left.Angela and the girls in the office were always helpful.

THI recently completed my orangery after first removing my old conservatory. The work took longer than expected due to delays in delivery of materials which was out of their control but they kept me informed throughout and they were always very helpful if we had any queries about the build and I am really pleased with the end result.

We had what is classed as a conservatory ‘top hat’ fitted by THI. Basically our old conservatory dismantled and new windows and door, with a superlite tiled roof, fitted to the existing wall and foundations. The installation took place in December, we had a couple of delays due to bad weather, which was obviously nothing to do with THI.
The two fitters (both Joe) were hard working, never stopped and did a good job. The electrician, worked well and we are pleased with our spot lights. The plasterers did not turn up on the day expected, which delayed us by another day. When they did get started, their work was good and to a high standard. On completion we had a couple of problems, which was rectified immediately by THI.
We had three quotations, THI was not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Overall we are very pleased with our conservatory and would recommend THI.

We’ve just had a new supalite roof put on the conservatory and we’re delighted with the end result. The service was excellent and the quality of the work is first class. We were kept informed every step of the way and the team were very professional and courteous. We would certainly recommend Tyneside home improvements to others.

The service and customer care of Tyneside Home Improvements is first class. I needed three windows replacing in a house I was renovating and they gave attention to detail, communicated very well at every stage and I am delighted with the windows - both in look and function with sound safety considerations.

We are really happy with our new conservatory. Can not fault the company. Very good price with an excellent quality. All the workmen were polite and just got on with the work that was needed.

THI sales guy was very honest & polite when quoting for my conservatory supalite roof & replacement windows and doors. My day for installation was put back 2 days because of bad weather which was relayed to me by customer service. The 2 men who become known as " the 2 Joes" were terrific! Very helpful & polite. Even asked if it was okay to park their van in the driveway. They were extremely efficient at their job, the result being a conservatory I am very happy with. They were also very tidy, no mess on patio & grass after each day, very impressive. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars(which is really what the finished work deserved) was the fact after the plastering of the inside walls, which was first class, the tidying up after each day was not brilliant. The patio & grass were left with lots of plaster on them. Also after the plastering was finished the inside floor & windows had not been cleaned properly. That was disappointing!. However Stuart, the installation manager, who fixed the skirting boards inspected all the inside and outside of the conservatory before leaving and he did a great job of tidying up, leaving me very happy with the finished result. I have to also praise Dave the electrician who did a fantastic job on the electrics, as after he put my ceiling light up and installed heater, my sockets in house kept tripping. He came back at 7.00 pm and traced the fault ( a minor trapped wire) fixed it and checked everything else while he was here. Very impressive service. As I said a 5 star rating was really warranted for the quality of work undertaken and I would have no hesitation in recommending Tyneside Home Improvements . They handle all the paperwork for building regulations etc very efficiently. Thank you to everyone

Certainly were some challenges during the process, we had a long delay and a couple of cancellations of starts owing to COVID, resigning builders and fired joiners but we got there in the end. The salesman was great, the builders did a good job and were 'happy' to adjust when we pointed out the plan was different to what was being built. Managers were out measuring the foundations and checking the dimensions were to plan.

There was a delay before we could get the windows and roof on but the reasons were well explained and the fitters were superb and went the extra mile.

We had two visits from the big boss to check on the progress and he was genuinely interested in making sure the work was done properly, mobile phones were out taking pictures and managers were round the next day making sure stuff was finished properly right up to the day before completion when we felt unhappy about the size of a radiator that was fitted.

We needed a couple of extra jobs doing and these were done complementary, so all in all, it was a good choice to go through Tyneside rather than deal directly with a builder as we can see that would have been far more problematic.

Atrocious it took over a month to fit my windows with constant problem with staff going on sick with little or no info from company, fitter smashed window in my house leaving chips out of my new kitchen flooring , window handle/lock in living room doesn’t match and spins round , found job sticker off window stuck on my hallways wall , sealant tubes discarded on my neighbours garage roof,I lost time at work being let down on several occasions , a very stressful and unhappy experience

Just had a new roof added to an existing conservatory. I was very anxious about the work, but had absolutely nothing to worry about. The fitters Jo, Scott, Alan and Chris, plasterers and electrians were absolutely top class. Their work was excellent. Nothing was any bother. There were a couple of snags, nothing major and within a couple of hours Graham came out to look and it was all sorted and completed within a couple of days. I would not hesitate to highly
recommend THI to friends and family. Thanks again. I could not have expected a better service or finish... just love it! ❤
