Long Response Times for Time-Sensitive Work
I contacted the company on 9 January by email and followed up on 13 January, eventually logging the job via the portal. Despite multiple chasers and being advised that someone would be in touch, the matter was still unresolved 10 days later. Unfortunately, the delays made it unsuitable for a time-sensitive requirement, and I proceeded with another provider. This is disappointing, as I have previously found their service to be efficient.

Lauren Wins!!!
Had a number of issues trying to contact TTNC/logging in which seems to be virtually impossible, so by the time I heard from Lauren she really had her work cut out because I was thoroughly unhappy.
However she was great, resolved all my issues, and improved the service I was receiving by pointing out additional features I didn't know I had on my plan. Excellent service, thanks again Lauren for sorting everything.

Unethically charging for unrequested services
My business was a customer of TTC for many years but, as others on this forum have reported, they surreptitiously added a service to our account for "dark web monitoring" that we never requested. Only after almost a year when we noticed that we had been paying for this were we able to cancel it. They claimed to have sent us an email but we received so many emails that it's hard to keep up with them all. For me, the key principle here is they shouldn't have added a service without us formally requesting it. Adding it and then expecting us to opt out if we didn't want it he's not a decent way to do business and so we have closed our account with TTNC and moved to one of their rivals.

TTNC used to have brilliant support, if you emailed their support@ or sales@ emails. Now, I cannot get help from anyone, I have been trying for weeks- when you call them, you can only leave a voicemail, when you email you get no response, on live chat they raise a ticket but I have had no resolution for weeks, we have been customers for years but the sudden decline in support is horrendous

Deceitful business practice. Go elsewhere.
Absolutely shocking and deceitful business practices. TTNC added a paid "Dark Web Monitoring" service to our account on an "opt-out" basis, a service we never requested or wanted.
While they claim they sent a notification, it was buried in an unclear e-shot marketing email. The "opt-out" was in fine print, making it extremely easy to miss. This is an extremely shady and deceptive way to do business. We later discovered this led to over £350 in charges for a service we never used.
When we contacted them, the company's response was that we should have been checking our invoices more closely, completely ignoring the fact that they signed us up for a paid service without our permission, and have refused to refund.
I would strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere and be extremely cautious of any unsolicited services they may try to add to your account. I also urge existing customers to meticulously go through their past invoices to ensure they haven't been charged for hidden services. We are taking our business elsewhere and will be reporting this practice wherever we can.

We understand your frustration regarding the Dark Web Monitoring service. To clarify, this service was introduced on an opt-out basis and was communicated via email in May 2023, which we can see was opened.
The charges in question were applied gradually over a period of more than two years. Had the invoices been reviewed during that time, we could have addressed any concerns and removed the service if it wasn’t suitable for your needs. We always aim to be transparent with our billing, and our invoices itemise all services to help customers stay informed.
We’re sorry that this situation has led to your decision to leave, and we truly regret that we didn’t meet your expectations. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will help us improve how we communicate and support our customers in the future.

Very disappointing
Be careful of this company. I spent thousands with them over a 7 year period, and literally as soon as I stopped using their service they started chasing for an outstanding payment of £25 and it was escalated to legal within 30 days.
The first Customer Service email from an actual person I EVER received from them in 7 years contained the phrase:
"If we do not receive payment prior to x your account will be transferred to our Pre legal team who will pursue the debt vigorously."
Avoid.

Long-term customer left frustrated
I have been a TTNC customer for around ten years, with a significant monthly spend, and until recently I’ve always found the service excellent. Unfortunately, my latest experience has been extremely disappointing.
Since 28th August, I have made multiple attempts to place a straightforward order for a couple of VOIP phones and telephone lines. I’ve left phone messages, sent three emails, and even tried the chatbot (which timed out). Despite all of this, I still haven’t had my request dealt with.
As a long-standing client, I expect better. In the past, TTNC have always been responsive and reliable, but this transaction has been frustrating and falls well short of the standard I’ve come to value over the years.
I hope this matter is resolved quickly, but right now, my confidence in TTNC has been badly shaken.
