I always sell my cards to Troll Trader…

I always sell my cards to Troll Trader as it's quick easy and they always offer a fair price. Never had any major issues and have also made serval purchases that all went smoothly.
One parcel I sent couldn't be located but Mathew at support was a great help and managed to track it down for me and get everything sorted

made an order for a few inexpensive cards , one of the cards marked NM was missing a corner of the card , it couldn't of been damaged in transit as they do pack the cards well, sent customer service the pictures and they basically called me a liar , and that they could not of made a mistake as its apparently checked by multiple members of staff ..... the card was marked as NM and like 0.98p ive used trolltrader for over 7 years i wont be again il stick to madhouse and cardmarket if this is how they treat customers.

Don’t bother buying high value cards

Troll trader does have a good verity of cards and at a reasonable price. I’ve used them a few times and always received exactly what I ordered.. the only downside to the company is that everything seems to be near mint / mint unless it is torn in half.. so if you are buying more valuable cards £100 card.. then you may end up with a less than desirable card. Almost every one is under the impression that a card with multiple scratches is not near mint unless / mint.. this wouldn’t normally be an issue with cards that are worth a few pounds.. but like I say.. with cards exceeding even £50.. multiple scratches on the face and rear of the card shouldn’t be classed as near mint / mint. I don’t know if this is a one off error or not, if they reach out to me to sort it out I can always change my opinion, but just be warned, I wouldn’t risk buying high value cards

Absolutely great service

Absolutely great service. I had ordered about 50 items as part of a single shipment.Troll trader got in touch to let me know, within 12 hours of me placing the order, that one of the cards I had ordered was out of stock. Not only did they offer store credit or a refund, they also offered to give me a different, more expensive, print of the card. Would definitely recommend.

Genuinely couldn’t be more impressed- did a trade in for store credit, and the entire process from submitting buy list to receiving my goods took less than a week.

Always my go to when making new decks, they always seem to have 90% of what you’re looking for. Customers service has been great if I’ve missed a card off an order etc.

Order

I placed an order to my family's address in a different city because I wasn't going to be home to receive it. My circumstances changed and I was going to be home so I contacted their customer support to see if they could amend the shipping address. They hadn't started processing the order at this point.

They got in touch with me a couple of days later and said they could amend it and asked me for the updated address. I gave it to them and they confirmed they'd update it, but they then sent the order to the original address.

It's not a huge deal but it's a little frustrating they got back in touch with me, confirmed they would update the address, but then sent out the order to the original address anyway

My order wasn't delivered

My order wasn't delivered. Apparently stuck with royal mail according to tracking number. For past 3 weeks. After trying to contact and raised the issue, been left with no solution or reply. PayPal claim for help.
Feel sorry, as been a client for past 5 years and never had issues.
Wouldn't bother but it was an expensive order.

Update.
Royal mail as usual been incompetent and apologetic.
Got refund after 1 month. Pain in the butt. Would be 4 stars if guys at trolltrader will be on top of messaging me. Hope we never will have to go through this again.
Trust them, there good bunch who works hard.

Awesome company

I have used troll trader cards multiple times and is always delivered in best condition. They are always taped up in a bag between two top loaders recommended to friends and family.

Lack of communication

Originally I was pleased with the service provided by this company, however after making a second order I have received the incorrect item which is an easy mistake to make, however after trying to contact them for a resolution I have yet to receive a reply or any help.

Update:
Whilst it is being sorted it has now been refunded back to store credit opposed to my card, hopefully this can be amended.

would give 0 stars if I could. I have been buying from troll trader for over 4 years now with no issues however I recently traded some cards into them as I wanted to purchase some expensive cards.

It took them a long time to trade it in and finally ship the card but I get they are busy. I finally received the card on the 14th of March and I noticed a card worth £90 was damaged. I emailed them straight away and it took them till the 22nd of March to respond. They said they were sorry the card was like that and that I would receive a small refund as credit on their store. I like my cards near mint so I asked them to replace it which they said I would need to pay postage. The postage would have cost £7 or more which is more than they were offering off the card and I felt like the card had arrived damaged I shouldn’t have to pay.

The owner finally contacted me on the 1st of April and was shocked by the response. They stated I was lying and that wasn’t the card I had ordered. They accused me of changing the card out and swapping it with another card. They stated that because 4 years earlier I had ordered a card and it was also damaged that I had used up my “good will gesture”.

I have made 17 orders from them with a large amount of cards, I’ve bought warhammer from them, traded in loads of cards over the years and traded in warhammer. I have spent a lot of money with this company and feel disgusted they would say I was lying.

The order arrived on the 14th and I showed them proof that the day I received it I contacted friends showing my annoyance at receiving a card I had been waiting over a month for was damaged.

I used to work in retail and can’t believe this company would throw my business and the business of all my friends over this.

Hello Matt,

We're aware that you are disappointed by our response. However, as outlined in our email response, this card was purchased by us in February (at that stage it would have been checked twice due to the value, once by the Buyer and then again by the Head Buyer). Once in stock and your order processed it would have been checked by the staff member who picked the card and then a member of staff who checks the order.

The card would have gone through 4 checks and the markings on the photos that you sent would have been spotted.

The card exchanged 4 years ago had a cutting error, we did exchange that one at the time (despite our concerns) as a gesture of good will. The only 2 issues that have been brought to our attention have been on high value cards.

We would not light-heartedly say we do not believe the card you are trying to return is different to the one sent.

I've been buying and trading my cards…

I've been buying and trading my cards with troll trailer for a few years now and I've only ever had a stellar experience with them.

When ordering with them they have a very quick turnaround and my cards have always turned up in immaculate condition.

When I traded my cards in they have turned my collection around within two weeks and credited my account.

A disappointment

A disappointment, ordered very early in the day with the most expensive/express postage option and wasn't dispatched until the next day - missing a deadline.

Used the site based on a recommendation of speed but will likely not use them again.

We're sorry we were not able to dispatch your order in a timely fashion on this occasion, as noted in email communications our team had been affected by staff being contacted by Track and Trace.

We do dispatch all orders placed before 8am on the same day. We try and dispatch any courier orders (over £100) placed before 1pm, on the same day but have removed this 'guarantee' from March 2020.

We hope you'll give us another try at some point in the future.
