I honestly can’t recommend Train Locksmiths enough. The training has been excellent from start to finish, with a really good balance between theory and hands on practical work. The tutors are extremely knowledgeable and, more importantly, teach from genuine real world experience. The course covers a huge amount and gives you plenty of practical experience working with different vehicles, tools and equipment. They take the time to explain not just what to do, but why you’re doing it, and are always happy to answer questions and help whenever you get stuck. I came onto the course wanting to build the skills and confidence to get into the auto locksmith industry, and I’m leaving with far more knowledge and practical experience than I expected. The support and standard of training have been brilliant. Definitely worth the investment and an easy 5 stars from me.

Attended the 10-day Level 3 Diploma in Automotive Locksmithing & Vehicle Security, run by Martin and Mark. The course was extremely well run, with a great balance of theory and plenty of hands-on practical work to put what we’d learned into practice.

Martin and Mark were both knowledgeable, approachable and always happy to answer questions or go over anything again when needed. I’ve come away from the course feeling confident and with a solid foundation to get out there and have a proper go in the industry.

The range of equipment available to train on was brilliant, giving me the opportunity to work with different key cutting machines, programming equipment and locksmith tools. Having access to such a wide variety of equipment really helped build my knowledge and confidence.

The Level 3 Diploma in Commercial & Property Locksmithing by Train Locksmiths is undoubtedly what an aspiring locksmith needs: technical detail with hands on application delivered in a gold standard learning environment. From start to finish, the course was engaging, interesting, and fun, without ever compromising on industry rigour or best practice.
The course was exceptionally well organised. It had a clear structure that built competence step by step. Mark and Martin brought vast amounts of industry experience that showed in every demonstration, discussion, and practical session. Their teaching style blended technical precision with real world insight, making complex concepts accessible and memorable.
The training facilities are well equipped, and purpose designed for locksmithing. The tools provided are high quality, well maintained, and representative of what professionals use in the field. This ensured we gained confidence working with the right equipment from day one.

I recently completed the Level 3 Commercial Locksmith and Property Security course with Train Locksmiths and had a great experience, I travelled down from Sutton and stayed down for two weeks in an Airbab, well worth the investment. The training is hands on, well structured and gives you plenty of practical experience with a wide range of locks, key cutting and non-destructive entry techniques. The instructors is knowledge is second none, they were patient and always happy to share real industry advice, including setting up your business. I’d highly recommend Train Locksmiths to anyone looking to start a career in locksmithing or develop their existing skills. I’ll be back as soon as possible for their automotive course.

Just completed the two week pracrical domestic ciploma locksmith course and I have to say it was outstanding. The tutors are ver knolegeable and expert in passing this on to the students. The skills gained are invaluable to set you going in the trade.

I just finished this auto locksmith training and it was fantastic – easily one of the best courses I’ve done. The instructors are real pros with tons of field experience, super knowledgeable, patient and passionate.
Perfect mix of theory and hands-on work. We practiced on actual car locks from major brands using pro tools: picking, decoding, cutting keys, programming transponders, OBD diagnostics, EEPROM, bypass methods – everything from old mechanical to the newest smart/proximity/push-to-start systems.
They explained clearly, step by step, shared real-world tips, common mistakes, troubleshooting tricks, tool recommendations and even business advice to help you start or grow profitably. Small group size meant lots of personal attention and no rush.
The facility was well set up, pace was intense but doable. I left feeling truly confident, with great notes and ongoing support contacts.
