I don't feel safe as a resident.
Walki g down the street or busy with bycilcle drivers they drive on the wrong side of the road.

Full of benefits claimants driving Mercedes...so I don't see why I am getting ripped off paying full rent sharing one bathroom in 5. Can't work from home.

I have my opinion and Europeans have been taking the blame.

I am a tax payer and have been downgraded.

Tried calling tower hamlets repairs at 14.20pm waited few min for someone to answer but it wasn’t tower hamlets who answered it was Mears. Apparently al staff in tower hamlets repairs are in a meeting, so all the calls are gone to mears. Who allows all the staff to go to a meeting during busy hours on a weekday.

Towerhamlets don’t give a crap about there residents.

My building has a entry door that needs to be buzzed, and opened by the tenant via the intercomm.
There is then a 2nd security door which has no intercom, and has to be opened manually by the residents physically coming down from their flats to come and open this door! Complaints have been made about this previously but nothing has been done!!
I have had to just leave my 3 children in the flat whilst I went down to let someone in! One of the lifts ain't working and the one that is, is now also starting to breakdown!! Had anything happened whilst I was in the lift my children would have been in danger!! This is a pathetic system you have put in place and is an extreme health and safety hazard for residents!! What happens in an emergency when the resident can not physically go down to open the door!!?? Take this door out or fit it with a intercom is all we the residents asked for, but somehow the incompetent team misunderstood our request and responded by "we already have a security door they won't be adding another one!" Yes Tower Hamlets Council, we know we have a security door, but what we are saying is having a second middle one without any intercom is unnecessary and a risk to residents safety! It needs to be taken out!

3+ words to describe every members of staff and management teams: RUDE, UNPOLITE, DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
do you people not know how to speak to residents in the borough? You lot are so rude and very abusive e.g. financial abusers as well as neglecting residents at all times!! Don’t want to help? Then why the hell are you people even working?

All you managements and members of staff are no different to Lambeth council who allowed sexual abuse to take place at their own children’s care home! Lambeth council are paying their price but it won’t bring back what they did to those children! Now it has come to my realisation if Lambeth council staff members can abuse children under their care! Why would you people be any different? You lot should be ashamed of yourself to be ripping people off with parking tickets and financially putting people in debt. Disgusting animals treating residents like absolute joke! On top of that they have this “so called complaint form” which gets dealt in a rudely and unprofessional manner where the put all the blame on you such as stating “you said this and you said that”. How is that exactly being dealt properly if anything they are selfish pigs who will not apologise to anyone, really hope one day there comes a time all council staff members and management teams LOSE their JOBS to those that are POLITE, RESPECTFUL AND MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL!

So after being in temporary accommodation for nearly 2 years I was deemed not in priority need then i won the case due to medical reasons I was told I would receive bidding login straight away and that was on the 14th of June!!! It’s been nearly 2 months and they have placed me in a studio flat that you couldn’t even swing a cat in it’s absolutely terrible this council is the worst by far all they do is cause you distress and make you depressed living a life like this due to people not doing their jobs properly!! I could go on and on but nothing will happen anyways even leaving this review is pointless. My housing officer was rude from the get go Ruksana noor there is no communication whatsoever they don’t answer the phone they don’t reply to emails it’s a joke!!

BJ (Boris Johnson) you are being mugged off from that council, paying them money and they can’t even do their jobs! Uneducated council! Leaving reviews won’t matter and if Boris Johnson is smart he will clock on to this council who are skiving! Disgusting!! you lot should be fully ashamed of yourselves!!!! Even them Muslim workers they are full of lies! All you lot should be ashamed of themselves! There’s days I think all of them probably go to work drink that’s why the lazyness! Boris Johnson is being fooled by that council because they are getting alot of money for nothing! They make tenants work for their jobs! I believe all you people should complain to Boris Johnson and tell him everything.

His email is clearly on the website, all you got to do is type in contact Boris Johnson on google and his details will come up! They did everyone wrong and everyone has the right to raise their voice! Also these council people need to be replaced with younger adults because younger adults work hard where as these people have work to do lots of work but instead skiving away!

Diabolical. Try phoning their service hotline and you will know what I mean. The phone will either not be answered or it will go dead. Total Jokers.

It's a absolute disgrace! Its run by complete incompetents who's only job is to ruin your day. I've had multiple occasions where they have neglected their responsibility as they simply don't care! Stay away from TH! At all cost!

Tower Hamlets Council are the most corrupt bunch of crooks I’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter. Having been a tenant and then a leaseholder for over 12 years now these absolute gangsters rip you off wherever they can. Being a tenant they couldn’t care less if you had no hot water heating mice or rats which was usually their fault anyway. As a leaseholder they fleece the crap out of you. So you buy your home off them only to find out they are practically paying rent anyway as well as your mortgage. They do absolutely nothing to the block in terms of maintenance and then charge you almost thousands a year just for the hell of it. If you complain they lie and say, it has been done when you know it hasn't and then say " we will pass on your comments to the team" (like anyone gives a S***) This subsequently means you are stuck in the hellhole dealing with mice rats overflowing bins no help no hot water at times when you need it. I literally cannot wait to move and hope to God I can do that soon Oh and now they voted the corrupt Mayor back in, should have gone to prison for what he did but nope... he is back in charge.

The worst council ever. Understaff and poor customer service. If you ask them the reason they will ask you to email which will not be attended and calling them is just waste of time. Payment systems are outdated.

1 star is over generous. Incompetent, lazy, miserable and unhelpful. Outright liars and it's obvious that they couldn't give a toss.

Useless services, poor customer services and absolutely awful dealing with the rubbish! Streets and estates looks horrible, flooded with waste and when complaint is being raised they don't even bother to take any action...

AWFUL - SIMPLY AWFUL

Not only the website, also the phone line, the services, everything about TH is AWUFUL

It s all about value for money.. and with TH you simply get none and are expected to pay the most expensive council tax.

I contacted Tower Hamlets council to complain about Florence Onwuazo. She had blocked my bidding account do to her own incompetence and I had sent an email to complain about her unprofessionalism and disrespect (mind you, this was at the start of Nov 2020) and they said it takes 14 working days to reply. The 20th of December had come and still no reply so I had sent another one and today on the 7th of Feb 2021 I still have not received a reply. This council does not care about their residents only a select few (the ones they're a bit "too friendly with") and its embarrassing. You're building all these flats and have imbeciles running it. Getting a fat pay check to not work from home is a luxury many can't afford. And from the other reviews I'm not the only person who feels this way. When you have a Cockalorum leader like John Biggs of course he would go to fill his places with lickspittles that are workers of the Tower Hamlets council.

Shameful service left me homeless my grandson my self shameless the operator puts you through this line that line your services should be closed down.

John Biggs - Mayor of Trumpton - sorry Towie Hamlets sort your Housing Department out! I have lived here 20 years & only in the last 10 has this department taken staff wages for providing absolutely no or minimum assistance.
Have major but common problem no hot water getting to my shower in a communal block. Phoned the advertised 'Helpline' (joke) no response after waiting more than 10 mins on a few occasions told My THH on line would help with minor complaints. No problem went to register - the only way to register is putting in an Account Number from the top of your THH letters. Of course there isn't one and I have letters dated back to 2013!? Form asked you for Payent Reference - OK put in my Service Charge payment ref rejected, OK put in my Council Tax payment ref rejected. What Housing payment ref do they want? Note on screen says 'cannot ID you' even though they have my address, mobile, DOB, bank details, etc, etc, for 20 years!?
Result = no hot shower as a zero hours Temp Concierge working 12 hr shifts so am cold showering between 0430 to 0530hrs every job. Nice. Thanks to THH incompetence at best or unempathetic or uncaring staff at worst. Pathetic Council which denies access to its own services. Mr Biggs sort this out or your previous voters will ... see other reviews - not one is positive. Why?

Worst council I have ever come across. No communication, never want to admit when they're wrong, rude and really don't care about any issues and that's only if you manage to get in touch with anyone.

By far the worst place I have lived in (in London). Unresponsive and whenever replied I have had rude responses. But one can pretty much imagine it since it's also the least clean place in London, no wonder East End has the reputation it has on all levels - safety, cleanness, quality of places to live and work.

There's one pipes conected to all our flats leaking into my flat next and two flats we need a repair person it's leaking and.pumping out water into my flat and flooding next door we need asap
