Total Bait and Switch SCAM
Total Bait and Switch SCAM. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever encountered. Got a quote and made an appointment, drove all the way there only to find out Phil the manager would not respect his own quote. Then when I asked him to pull the phone call, he chased me out of the store, then his tall puerto rican worker threatened me several times, then called the police on me falsely telling them that I pulled a weapon on them. Police came and disregarded their claim. NEVER GO HERE, they are a dishonest group of crooks!
Update: Asked for me to call them, Same manager, no owner available. They just want to save face with the comment below. CROOKS!
UPDATE: Store owner called me with the same bad attitude defending his employees. Customer Service recently reached out to me at the end of the day yesterday, but still has not gotten back to me as of this evening.

Bad tinting service at Jacksonville Florida
We just brought a brand new car and took it to Tint World at 1740 Cocoanut Rd STE 104, Jacksonville, FL 32224 four weeks ago, to have all windows including the windshield tinted. Since it is a brand new car, the windshield was without any damages and blemishes. When we picked up the car after the service at Tint world, there were a lot of bubbles and creases/debris/lines on the film, especially on the windshield and two front windows. Tint world staff stated those were normal and will disappear in a few weeks. Four weeks later, there were still a lot air bubbles and lines. Two straight lines on the inside of windshield were especially bothersome while driving. We were out of town for a couple weeks. Upon returning, we had an appointment with our car dealer to check the windshield for a tiny chip on the outside. The dealer service person did a thorough inspection of it and told us that those inside lines underneath the tint film are in fact cracks and the whole windshield was replaced for safety purposes. Tint world did a very terrible jobs with price tag over two thousand dollars. When we returned to Tint World for the warranty repair, we were told that they will not replace the windshield film because they said the warranty doesn’t cover it. Very bad and disappointing experience with this Tint World location.

My wife took our vehicle to Tint World to have the windshield tint film removed. The staff was extremely professional and quick. They even put air in a low tire. Great service. Thank you from a Veteran. Appreciate your hard work.
Scamming at an all time high I booked…
Scamming at an all time high I booked an appointment to get a GPS tracker installed into my car (mind you I already had 4 installed by another vendor) he says it $150 an hour plus I needed a module to override factory estimate was $290 my regular guy was unavailable I already knew this prior my appointment time was 11am they literally tried to bill me for 3 hours there is no way it should have taken this long except for the technician not knowing what he was doing or you want to run up a bill on me I refused to pay for the lack of expertise or the snail service he did allow me to pay the original estimate but I had to raise hell because this was unexceptional it would have been $559 plus tax for a gps to be installed which is double what I'm used to paying for a mobile service that can be done in a hour I hate that men try to get over on women they think we don't know anything so I called the owner to the gps and he confirmed that this was impossible and this sounded like the tech had no experience installing the gps I drove over 40 minutes and waited from 11am to 3pm for a gps to be installed I do not recommend I will be patient and wait for my mobile gps service to install on the rest of me fleet vehicles. Lesson learned

**“WORST tint company ever! No customer courtesy, no clear information, and no proper documentation. They use fraud business tactics, push their own recommendations, and leave the customer in trouble. This company does not follow DMV registration rules, and later customers are the ones who suffer. Leroy and his wife (owners) lies and traps people with false promises.
We went to get our car windows tinted and they recommended ceramic tinting for the windshield. They never asked for or gave us a medical authorization form to be signed. When I checked online, I found that a legitimate company will NEVER proceed with such tinting until this medical authorization form is approved by a doctor. This clearly shows they are running an illegal business. And when we, as customers, went back with all this information, they harassed us by calling the cops and labeling us as trespassers.
This is ridiculous and no one should ever get their business done by Tint World. Leroy and his wife are the owners — completely unprofessional, dishonest, and fraudulent people.
Stay away!

AVOID THE COCONUT CREEK AND BOCA RATON FRANCHISE LOCATIONS:
I’m leaving a one star review because the franchise owner is truly off his rocker. I had service performed at the Boca Raton location including XPEL PF, Tint, Blackvue Dashcam, and Ceramic coating on two new luxury vehicles. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and products provided. Two days later I noticed a large bubble in the PF along a curve in the bumper, called the location and was asked to bring it by. Upon visualizing the vehicle at the Boca Raton location, the technician insisted that the PF needed to be re-cut and re-applied to the entire bumper. They explained that the employee who applied the PF lived in Tampa (hundreds of miles away) and he would contact us shortly when the technician was going to be in town to get the vehicle scheduled for repair.
Over the next month and a half, where I contacted them weekly, they only returned my call once to schedule me (late on a Tuesday evening and I returned their call promptly on Thursday morning). Unfortunately, I was told the installer was no longer in the area. Finally, after more phone calls, the local technicians “escalated” us to the franchise owners. The franchise owners DEMANDED pictures of the bubbled PF, VIN number of vehicle and lots of other information that had already been provided to the BOCA RATON location where the work had been performed. All this information was also available on their original estimate and invoice. After providing this information multiple times, I was finally told that they would fix the vehicle but only if I traveled to the COCONUT CREEK location on a date of their choosing.
After dropping off my car to the COCONUT CREEK location (significantly further from my home), I returned to pick it up 3 days later. Upon entering the shop, my wife and I were verbally accosted by the owner, and berated for apparently mentioning to his wife that their customer service was not up to our expectations (returning phone calls). He proceeded to seethe and scream at us for 10 minutes while we patiently just repeatedly requested that he return our car. Even as we walked out the door, he was still threateningly screaming at us.
This franchisee obviously has some serious anger issues (read the many other similar reviews posted here) and I would encourage others NOT to interact with him in fear that he may turn physically violent.
To be clear we never expected, received, nor asked for any discount, rebate or free product.

Terrible experience overall at the Salem, NH location. I had two vehicles done and the quality of the job was so bad I returned the same day for a refund. The owner was classless. He threatened physical violence while trying to demean me with his words after I called him out for doing such a poor job. When I mentioned writing an honest review, the owner actually admitted to paying a company to clean up negative reviews! LMAO. Yeah, I literally laughed out loud at him. Do yourself a favor and find another place that doesn’t have an owner who appears mentally unstable and physically unable to perform the service offered.

Had driver side, passenger side and rear window tinted on 2002 Chevrolet Tracker ZR2, so far so good windows look great. Loved the way the store manger dealt with me via email and text. Am not a big on the phone guy, Bremerton Washington store 104 manager lewis was a pleasure to work with.
VERY VERY EXPENSIVE AND SLOPPY STEREO INSTALL
AT THE MELBOURNE, FLORIDA TINT WORLD FOR THE PRICE I PAID I WAS EXPECTING A TOP NOTCH QUALITY CAR STEREO INSTALL........NOT......WHEN I GOT MY VEHICLE BACK I IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THE INSTALLER DID NOT CLEANUP HIS MESS...PLASTIC AND WIRE SHAVINGS ALL OVER THE FLOOR. ALSO FOUND 2 SCREWS ON THE FLOOR. THE RCA AND USB CABLES WERE NOT ACCESSIBLE.
BIG ISSUE WHEN USING THE PHONE I PARKED AND TURNED OFF THE ENGINE THE STEREO SHUT OFF WHILE I WAS ON A CALL. THE INSTALLER CONNECTED THE STEREO TO THE IGNITION INSTEAD OF THE ACCESSORY CIRCUIT LIKE IT WAS BEFORE.....SO PISSED OFF I DECIDED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM MY SELF. WHEN I REMOVED MY STEREO I SAW WHERE THE SCREWS ON THE FLOOR WERE SUPPOSE TO GO.....I ALSO NOTICED THE ANTENNA ADAPTER THEY CHARGED ME FOR WAS NOT USED. THE INSTALLER CUT OFF THE OLD CONNECTOR AND JUST SPLICED THE ANTENNA WIRE.....IT TOOK ME 5 MINUTES TO CONNECT THE RADIO TO THE ACCESSORY CIRCUIT. WORKS FINE NOW....

Sloppy Work
I paid $344 for an install and received the most unprofessional, customer service lacking experience. I waited in the shop for 4 hours because of an amp/sub install. I brought my own amp/sub. I was rushed out after their 6pm closing time. I was not shown the work I paid for before rushing me out. While checking out, I asked if the 2 wireless remotes were synced. The owner said yes. I also asked the owner about the warranty. The owner said the receipt and warranty was emailed to me.
I went outside to the suv to check the sound. The wireless remotes were not synced. I came back in and stated the remotes were not synced. The tech said the remotes wouldn't light up so he has to call Kicker Monday to troubleshoot. I opened 1 remote and it didn't have a battery. I said I have batteries in my suv so can the battery be added so the remotes can be synced. The tech said he has to call Kicker. (But the simplest, most basic thing to do would've been to see if new batteries allowed the remotes to be synced, before calling Kicker.)
Saturday, the next day, I was pissed. 1) Not only did I not receive a warranty/reception in my email. 2) the amp was not velcroed down, as discussed with the tech. 3) the wires from a prior install with the amp were just laying around in the trunk. 4) the subwoofer was making a thunderous sound. When playing music and when music is off. 5) when I added batteries to both remotes, the lights came on. So the remotes could've been synced the day of install if the tech would've listened to me. 6) my beige console is dirty on the driver side and I've only had the brand new 2025 for 3 weeks.
Now I have to ride around with this egregious sound for a week until I am off work again, and spend 4 more hours sitting in the shop for something that should've been done correctly the first time.
This was not a free job. I paid my hard earned money and entrusted this company with my suv. I could've went elsewhere. I was going to come back and have them install my dashcam and windshield tint but now I will never come back to this company. Nor will I refer my friends and coworkers. This was an extremely sloppy, unprofessional job and they should be ashamed.
