The Recce beanies are made from 100% Merino yarn from Australia. Its heavier weight than previous beanies, it fits better than previous incarnations and the construction has been improved. We operate a Kaizen approach to all products, Kaizen is the Japanese art of continuous improvement. Basically, if it’s not better than the last one, we don’t do it. Our beanies are all made in the Far East. Why? Because these guys are the best, with 30 years experience in making high-quality knits. They understand and appreciate our “it’s ready, when its ready’ philosophy and support in making numerous samples until the product is perfect. It is available in Khaki, Raven Grey & Obsidian Black and features the signature ThruDark face patch.

Lovely beanie, but expensive. We washed this at wrong temperature, so our mistake completely. Ended up more like an egg cosy, unfortunately. How ever, I’m trying to exchange a Guard beanie, which wasn’t to my son’s liking, for another one of these Recce beanies, which he loved. I bought it for Christmas. Shame the Customer Service is so ineffective.

Feels very soft to the head, no itching. Is a bit too big for my head. Wish they had sizes.

I bought this beanie given the large price tag thinking the quality would be good. This is not the case. After a week of wearing this, the beanie became loose, out of shape and the material began to fray thus making 3 prominent holes in the hat. Would not recommend at all. Still yet to receive any customer service for this.
