We booked our destination wedding in Sorrento, Italy through the Wedding Travel Company. We booked with Bernadette, who was incredibly informative and helpful. We then moved to Suzanne in the planning team who was supportive throughout the process. The legal team were amazing and sorted everything out for us so easily and quickly. Something that we believed would be stressful was a very straightforward process. During this, we were put in contact with Fatima, as our planner in Sorrento. From the moment we first spoke to Fatima, we knew we were in safe hands. She is unbelievably organised, caring, helpful and is just a wonderful human! Her communication is fantastic and we had no pre wedding worries and that is all due to Fatima.

We got married at Chiostro di San Francesco and had our reception at Grand Hotel Royal. We met at our reception venue a few days before the wedding to go through every detail, and from the biggest parts of the day to the smallest finishing touches, Fatima had everything covered. The legal aspect of the day, food, drinks, violinist, flowers - all are only a handful of the details that were organised for us.
What makes her so special is how genuinely invested she is in giving you the perfect wedding. She was a calming, smiling face when the nerves hit and made us both feel content.
Throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself, she shared so many helpful tips – from the timing of different parts of the day to where we should walk and stand. Her experience, passion, and attention to detail are second to none.

Fatima, you played such a huge part in what can only be described as the wedding we had only ever dreamed of. So, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Claire has been absolutely amazing helping me book our dream wedding in rhodes, she has been prompt with replies and emails even out of hours, she reassured me with my doubts, I am now delighted to say our October 2027 wedding is now booked with the help of Claire who has given me confidence every step of the way.
I had my doubts booking our wedding on line however Claire has made me feel confident, answered calls answered all my questions and with her reassurance our wedding is now booked today for next year.

We’re getting married at Sirens Beach in Cyprus in August 2026, and our experience with Wedding Travel Company has been amazing from start to finish.

The whole process has been seamless and completely stress-free. Communication has been excellent throughout, and we’ve always felt well-informed and supported. Sue has been fantastic, guiding us through every stage of the planning process and making everything feel so much easier.

We’ve now been handed over to our in-resort wedding planner, Amanda, and the transition has been just as smooth. Amanda has already been keeping us updated, answering our questions, and offering plenty of reassurance as the last-minute wedding nerves start to kick in.

Would highly recommend the wedding travel company! We got married last month in Cyprus and the whole planning was so smooth and easy. Sue was so helpful and friendly and always happy to answer all the questions I sent through. We got a package with them but ended up changing quite a few things to do with the package, which was no problem at all. If you are someone that wants to get married abroad and wants as little stress as possible and to be relatively hands off with planning then I would highly recommend going with the wedding travel company 😊

We had our big day at olympic lagoon ayia napa and I had the lovely sarah help me put my package together and was there at the other end of an email if needed any help, till I was passed on to the amazing suzanne! She really went all out for me no job was too small she had my back in debates with hotel she really made the whole process so smooth for me thank you so much suzanne☺️

From the moment we booked right through to our wedding in Corfu, everything was so well organised and we always felt looked after. Our wedding coordinator, Sue, was amazing. She handled all the communication with the hotel, kept us updated throughout, and was always happy to help with any questions or last-minute changes we had.

As the wedding got closer, we changed bits of our seating plan, added an extra bouquet, sorted out music for the ceremony and reception, and tweaked a few other details. Sue made the whole process so easy and made sure everything was passed on to the hotel, which gave us real peace of mind. The hotel had every single detail after we had a meeting with them after arriving there, not one thing was missed - we felt in the best hands possible.

The wedding day itself was everything we hoped for and more. From the beautiful ceremony to the incredible four-course meal overlooking the Corfu peninsula, the flowers, the saxophonist, and all the little details, everything came together perfectly. We honestly didn't have to worry about a thing and were able to just enjoy the day, which was priceless for us.

From the first moment we enquired back in December after getting engaged to when we actually booked our wedding the service we received from Angel was like no other, usually when you enquire it goes one of two ways , they hound you and pressure you and put on a hard sell or they send you what you need and that's it . With Angel it was neither it was professional, informative but most of all so friendly and she is actually 100% genuinely wanting you to have the most magical wedding you can hear it in her voice! the way everything was explained and broken down was so calming and reassuring for a control freak like me but by the end of the first phone call I knew she was our wedding planner. We contacted 3 companies in total and we both agreed Angel was the one, no disrespect to the other planners im sure they are amazing at their jobs but if you want someone to completely remove all apprehension of booking a wedding abroad and someone so invested in your day you need to deal with Angel. I cannot thank her enough we were back and forth with venues and dates etc and nothing was ever too much trouble she even responded to us whilst on annual leave !! I am someone who struggles to let anyone do anything for me to my own detriment but their is no one and I mean no one we would trust more with our special day other than Angel, she is thee most genuine friendliest person and works with such attention to detail I promise you this is the lady you need. Thankyou so much Angel for getting us to this point its been 10+ years in the making for us and you've made everything possible so far. We shall be getting married at the Ampitheatre in Lindos in 2028!!!!

I booked with Sarah originally and then i was contacted by Kim to start planning, organising etc. and i have to say both ladies were amazing!! nothing was ever too much trouble. Made each step of the planning so easy. I cannot believe how stress free i was planning an abroad wedding.

We have just booked our June 2028 wedding at palazzo Di P Zante!! We booked with the wonderful Angel she was great at helping us find our perfect venue for our budget! Would highly recommend as we really struggled with finding a venue until we got in touch with Angel.

It’s taken me a while to write this review as the last month has been a whirlwind.

This is my third and final review for wedding travel company as they ask for a review at each milestone but all have been positive and worthy of 5 stars.

We got married on the 22nd May 2026 at the coral beach hotel resort in coral bay Cyprus.
The setting was spectacular and we had an amazing holiday surrounded by many family members and close friends.

We had booked the wedding two years prior and it seemed like such a long haul. I felt it was a very worrying time as you’re not really able to see what it is your booking.

We were assigned to Sue Kariolis who I can only describe as extremely organised, kind and straight to the point. Every conversation I had with Sue and every exchanged email made it to Cyprus to the wedding coordinator Kirsty Cannings.

I had imagined for a long time what the wedding day would actually look like and I had watched other peoples videos and photographs to attempt to put it altogether but on the day I was totally blown away because it was even better than I could have ever imagined.

If I could go back and do it all again I would.

My only regret was not booking a videographer, we really didn’t think we wanted to be able to look back at the day but as you can imagine and as many people advise it does become a hazy memory as so much is going on around you.

I cannot thank everyone enough who had an input on our special day. Especially Sue and Kirsty who made all our wishes come true.

I encourage anybody who fancies having a wedding under the sun with the most beautiful views to get it booked and enjoy every second of the process because once it’s done it’s an incredibly hard fall.

Hoping soon enough I get invited to a beautiful wedding abroad because I’d love to experience it from the other side and actually try some food and cake which my guests described as spectacular:-)

Louise was absolutely amazing and made our journey choosing our wedding package so easy. She was professional and full of advise to help us get the most out of what we wanted for our big day.
