I have been a member for a couple of months, and I will not be renewing my membership.
Gym is constantly busy which is ok but some of members have a disregard for gym etiquette and lack of respect for personal space.
Dumbbells, Cable and pulley attachments are always scattered across the gym which is very frustrating when you want to complete your workout. Neither members or the staff which are employed at the gym put them back.
Some of the staff are rude. To enter the gym, you must enter your pin or scan a QR code using the gym group, either option will activate the automated door system which will open and close automatically. On one occasion, after entering the gym and beginning my warm up I was confronted by one of the staff. Unbeknown to me while entering the gym, another individual apparently managed to enter gym while the automated door system was closing. The disgruntled staff member rudely explained what happened and demanded that I should have physically stopped this individual from entering. The staff member argued that its my responsibility to stop members of the public from the gym. I calmly pointed out that this is not my responsibility and that I wont be physically stopping individuals from entering as this is Gym group staffs responsibility. I understand that members should not be sharing their pin numbers. But this is different. While the automated door system is opening and shutting, its not the members responsibility to physically stop others from entering. Given these days that its common for people to be carrying knives I do not want to be getting into fights while entering the gym, I just want to workout. The staff member then said that he will be reporting me to the gym manager. I thought that the whole situation was ridiculous and honestly has angered me since. Because of this and along with the other issues mentioned I will not be renewing my membership. I would advise others to train elsewhere.

The Wolverhampton manager Harvey is very approachable and knowledgeable. Went through the benefits of joining with no hard sell; just a nice friendly chat. The Wolverhampton Gym is clean and has a good range of equipment. Personal trainers are there if you need to talk to one of them regarding 1 to 1 fitness training. The price is fair and there is a huge choice of equipment to use, something for everyone.

I've stopped going here, not just because of poor management, but because of unwelcome attention from individuals who think they are hard men by shouting racist abuse down the gym at you and then walking over and glaring whilst you are doing your workout. It's a clique based environment that I neither care for or need. Their gym motto which is plastered on the wall, is some such rubbish as, and I'm just paraphrasing, "Everyone is Welcome", which when it comes to this gym it isn't true. If your face doesn't fit or you dare critisise how things are done, you will be targeted and singled out. An unpleasant, unprofessional, and unwelcoming environment to train in.

I normally use the treadmill at a specific speed for light jogging, but today I nearly flew off the machine — it was way faster than it should’ve been for the same setting I always use. This isn’t just a minor issue; it’s a serious safety hazard. It seems like all the treadmills run at different speeds even when set to the same number, which clearly means they’re not calibrated properly. I’ve never seen maintenance fixing the machines or anyone acknowledging the issue. No signs, no warnings — just outdated, often broken equipment sitting there like it’s normal. Machines should at least be marked out of order if they’re not safe to use. Very disappointing and honestly dangerous.

Great gym with a good variety of equipment. The classes are great. In particular Ion is great as he really takes the time to check your form during the classes and really pushes you to your limit. Niall is also great, he clearly loves his job and this radiates through in his personality and enthusiasm when leading the classes making them really enjoyable.

Very friendly staff. Nice gym. Not the newest equipment but a lot of variety and I could do everything I needed

Love all the classes in this gym particularly Ion’s. He is so professional and he supports technique development on everyone in each of his classes. My fitness and body shape has significantly improved in 4 months

Yet another price increase. 10% this time. I know £22 a month is still good value, but not enough, when there are other perfectly good gyms still in the £15-£20 per month range. Anyway, I've cancelled my membership and will be moving away to a competitor

My personal trainer today helped me with using the equipment and my workout and she motivated me and helps me achieve my goals Odette is amazing 👏

Is big gym the team is very friendly is nicer place

I like it here, plenty of machines & staff mostly about. It gets a bit crowded at times hence the 4 stars, but it’s only during the expected hours 5:30PM-7:45PM.

Latoya has been great, always friendly and has helped me many times with machines and exercises. The gym is well maintained and has an inclusive atmosphere

Thé Gym Group Wolves is such a great gym. Super helpful managers, really good support and willing to answer any questions regarding equipment and form. Special thanks to Latoya who is always super smiley!

Had a brilliant session with Latoya from the gym group in wolverhampton, she really worked me and pushed me to the limit! At the end of the session she put me to do the fitness test which nearly pushed me to the edge! Now I know what I need to focus on in the gym! Thanks Latoya 5 star rating! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The trainer at last nights legs bums class at 5.30 was Brilliant, caring knowledgeable and motivating

The equipment is great and clean, the staff are helpful and welcoming to me.
