Best Gym in the area. Plenty of equipment, with new equipment recently provided, which is great. Always clean and the staff are brilliant. Very approachable, helpful and provide great training tips and classes. Def recommend.

was very disappointed to receive a message at 6 am this morning informing members that the gym would be closed from 8:00 a.m. today until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow due to maintenance. Notifying people only 2 hours before closing is extremely inconvenient and disrupts the schedules of those who had already planned their workouts. For better service and professionalism, such announcements should be communicated at least a day in advance, rather than on the same day.

Prices increase again whilst experience fails to improve; cleaning stations gone, fewer staff; machines more regularly out of service. It’s hard to see how and why prices increase. Am looking at other gyms which may be more expensive but offer more - The Gym is no longer price competitive.

I have been a member at Poole for nearly 5 years. Great team, great equipment and probably the cleanest gym I have ever worked out in!

I don't have any particular problem with the gym here but the communication from head office leaves something to be desired. I wrote a letter to the customer support manager 6 months ago about this issue and am still waiting for a reply. Ĺ

I have been a member of this gym since day one of it opening. I haven’t seen a piece of equipment be cleaned down once in the last few years. You can literally smell body odour on the equipment, greasy patches on bench’s and soap always runs out in the toilets. It’s
Soo off putting and it dosent help that the gym got rid of the sprays to save money

The gymgroup Poole is a welcoming, non intimidating gym. It has a wide range of well maintained equipment, ample parking, all areas are spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Daisy in particular is an asset to the team. She has been training me for some time now and always pushes me (within my limits!) to push myself to be better. Would recommend Daisy as PT and the gymgroup Poole to anyone wanting to improve their fitness.

On the premium membership I visited other gyms twice and they charged extra.

I froze my membership now they are asking for an admin fee.

An absolute joke! Bournemouth gym filthy, Poole much better but need to drive to get there.

Keep pumping up fees without any reason behind it.

I like the friendly atmosphere of this gym and the free parking is a definitely a plus. However, the squat/deadlifting racks are a bit of a problem as so many people use them but there are only 2 main ones available ( and one smaller but less adaptable squat rack elsewhere). The space could be utilised better so that the gym racks are used on both sides instead of just one, therefore doubling the amount of racks available, like ones I've used in their soutampton branch. Everything else has been good but, not being able to get on the main racks has made me consider going to a different gym.

A big shout out to the staff at The Gym Group, Poole. They run the best classes and take time to help and give advice even when they're not supposed to be working! Thank you all, you do a great job!

The Poole gym is run very efficiently, is kept super clean and tidy and the trainers are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they run excellent classes which are also fun. Everyone is made to feel welcome and exercises can be adapted to whatever your level is.

Because it’s cheap it is well over packed if you go in between 4pm-10pm you can’t use none of the equipment as it’s being used so you can’t go in and do a set routine. I have to pay more and go further away most days as I can’t train properly their

Any time after 3pm the gym is full of teens in groups who congregate around machines and equipment. They just stand around chatting-stopping people who really want to work out.
I would suggest this is policed better, as its an essential part of gym etiquette. These kids may not be aware...although there is signage about putting weights back but none about hogging equipment in groups! (A far greater sin in my book).
Other than that the gym is OK, although more free weights benches would be great. A lot of the equipment is a bit tired.

Because it’s cheap it’s over packed every night most of the time you can’t do any routine you just have to grab what ever is free unless it’s bikes or running machines theirs load of them that no one uses. Forget going after work I used to have to wait til after 8 now even that’s to packed. I have to do all my work outs at home and just go for legs

Great gym, there is everything you need. Staff are very good and friendly. Always very clean no matter when you go.

Amy at the Gym Poole is an excellent class instructor. She gave me tips on my form and was very motivating.

It’s very clean and light and airy well ventilated.

A bigger rage of slam balls would be nice
