This company were amazing- I placed my order & it was despatched immediately. I then had an issue with DHL not attempting delivery as my house is hard to locate as address postcode doesn’t get you there on sat nav. Robbie did everything in his power to be helpful & sort the situation unlike DHL who basically don’t want to speak to customers. I highly recommend using this company because even if a problem should arise they will do their upmost to sort it so you can order with confidence.

My approach to The Fireside Shop in search of a lost part for my coal bunker was more in hope than in expectation. How wrong could I have been? Robbie responded promptly and supplied the replacement part within two days. If only other companies could show the same level of customer aftercare.

There was a problem with my delivery but the lengths they went to and general customer service in response to the issue was faultless. I ended up feeling delighted by overall experience and would have no hesitation to recommend them. Superb.

I ordered an ash pan from The Fireside Shop on 3 November and it arrived the next day but was the wrong size. Robbie at the warehouse arranged to send out the correct size right away and this arrived on 5 November. He also sent a replacement handle which came yesterday, and refunded my postage costs. Absolutely first-class customer service.

This website has only recently (summer 2022) been taken over by a stove and accessory retail company.
Their service is just as good as their retail outlet and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Communication and delivery were as good as their word.
Suitable for both supply to the trade as well as private customers.

We ordered a fire fret and grate. They arrived with one of the support legs snapped. (And we wondered why it was wrapped so well in bubble wrap!!). On contacting the Fireside Shop, there was no issue at all; everything was smoothly executed and we got a replacement very quickly. Excellent products, communication and service. Well recommended.

I ordered the Curved "Made to Measure" Fireguard because I needed quite a tall guard (100cm).

I am very pleased with the guard. It generally lives in the shed, until such time as we light the chimenea. Then the fireguard not only looks magnificent, it also keeps the kids safe and prevents any stray embers getting on my decking.

It's a lovely piece of work, solid and nicely designed.

I am struggling to quantify any of the negative reviews as my experience has been exemplary. Quick delivery, well packaged. Unfortunately had an issue with the fireguard we purchased but the Fireside aftersales team empathicly offered to send a replacement with no fuss. An ambassador to retail aftersales and other retailers could learn a lot about securing customer loyalty if they adopt the same pragmatic approach. Great job! Issues happen, but it takes a trustworthy retailer to resolve and secure customer loyalty. And you now have my business forward. Many thanks.

Had a problem!
Well broken fire grate and inner ash can falling to pieces. Searched around but got little help from ‘Big Names’ in the trade.
Found ‘The Fireplace’ but didn’t want to order the wrong thing.
I took a photo of my mashed up bits and posted it on with dimensions.
I had a reply in next to no time from a very helpful staff member. He recognised my bits right off... ok, I ordered... next day I installed it in a home without other heating much to the delight of the lady there and her children.
I could go on about 10/10 help and service... suffice to say....
If you’re looking for anything ‘Fire-related’.. give these people a shout.. you’ll be happy you did.

When my new coal bunker arrived, I worried that it might be too small. Adam of the Fireside Shop could not have been more helpful when I contacted him thinking I may have ordered the wrong size. I live on a Scottish island so delivery/returns are neither straightforward nor cheap.

He offered to check Couriers & prices for me to return the small bunker to try to find the cheapest option for me. He also informed me that although the bunker looks small, it does hold 150 kilos & that was equivalent to approximately 3 bags of grade 2 household coal. After checking with my local coal merchant, I discovered that the bunker I'd ordered was big enough after all. Thank you Adam for your time & patience! Gail

After years of neglect my fireplace was due a bit of TLC. Helpful guy on the phone sorted me out with a brush set of the correct height and advised on replacing the rotten grate which had been hacked off by the previous owner. Roaring fire last night was well worth the effort. Thanks.

Good customer service, the gentleman on the phone helped me find the grate I needed for my fireplace and it arrived a few days later.

Mmmm shiney website. Wide range. Clear on delivery dates etc. Pity they do not live up to the hype. Item still not despatched 5 days after order accepted, despite being in stock. 15 calls during office hours not responded to. Thank heavens I used a credit card as this place looks incredibly dodgy.
