A group of liars and con-artists. Scammers!

I wanted to change one segment of a flight that I had booked and paid for on Delta Airlines. I looked up a number for Delta Airlines, dialed it and got this company instead. I thought I was speaking to a Delta agent. He couldn't find me a more convenient flight, so I told him to forget about it. However, he then claimed that the final segment of my itinerary was not confirmed and that I needed to pay an extra $220. I became angry but the agent gave me a confusing reason why the extra charge was needed. It was late and night, I was tired and I foolishly agreed. The next morning I was highly suspicious and looked up the reviews for this company. My suspicions turned out to be true. I filed a formal fraud complaint with the FBI. I called Delta Airlines and was assured that no one but I could cancel my reservation. I was finally able to contact the "agent" I had spoken to. I demanded a full refund, which of course he refused to do. He said that my flight would be cancelled if he gave me a refund, a statement that I knew was false. Then I called my credit card company and opened a dispute for this charge. I was given reassurance. It is an outrage that this company is still in business.

Bait & Switch - Do not use this Travel Agency

Do not use this Travel Agency. I called since when I did a Google search they were listed as Swiss International Airlines. All I wanted to do was make seat reservations since I had booked the flights with United. They wanted to charge me over $200 for each seat. I told them that I had never paid extra for a seat using my Frequent Flyer Miles. I then realized that they were not the Swiss Airline I told them to leave it as is. After I hung up they canceled my flights.

This agency is a complete scam!!!

This agency is a complete scam!!!

Somehow they intercept legitimate calls to the airline. I called Southwest Airlines 800 number (800-I-FLY-SWA) and thought I was talking to a Southwest agent. The person on the phone confirmed they handle the booking for SW. They proceeded to overcharge me for a flight change and executed 2 charges. One charge went to Southwest (representing the true fare change fee). Then, the second charge (for much more) was added from PCM Travels. Be careful because while you think you're talking to the airline, you may not be.

To add insult to injury, they changed the email associated with my flight to lucifer0786@yahoo

w-t-f?!?!?

the scammer!

My flight was canceled due to snowstorm, I called Air Canada customer service to reschedule my flight. Unaware it was not Air Canada at all, Sherry Smith from the fare masters answered the call. She claimed that Air Canada had transferred the call to her and rushed me into paying $3794.0 for both my husband and I return tickets. When I questioned Sherry why the ticket didn't show the charge for the reschedule tickets, and why Air Canada still sent me the email about the reschedule my return flight, she pushed everything aside and found excuses. Sherry is a scammer, a lier and a bully. She threaten to put me on Air Canada black list, so I won't be able to fly Air Canada forever. Sherry takes advantage at volneable people who are under stress.
Please remeber that Air Canada will never transfer the call to a third party agency, Air Canada will reschedule a cancelled flight for free.

I called a Delta number but it went to…

I called a Delta number but it went to the scammers. When I saw charges on my Amex account it was $1,895 to PCM Travels for making a reservation to London and $3,856 to Delta Fri the flight. Delta has no record of being paid. They then made another reservation to London for about $200 less. I have asked Amex to cancel all and initiate a dispute. At this point I do not know what will happen. I then booked my own flight to London. “Aiden” said he was a Delta agent when I quizzed him. These people need to be shut down if possible. They are simply crooks. They have been trying to call me but I never answer if I suspect it is them.

Be aware of the hack

I'm usually very careful with scammers, but these guys were able to convince me. I called Delta Airlines 1800 number and somehow the call went to these guys. I did not doubt for a sec that I was not talking with Delta. They helped me fix my cancelled flight and charged me $300. Luckily I was able to identify the fraud as the email came from t.delta.com. I called Delta and opened up an investigation. Also, blocked my credit card. I also protected my ticket so they cannot cancel it.
I wonder how they are able to hack the 1800 number.

SCAM!

SCAM!! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM AND HANG UP. I was on the Delta website having an issue booking a flight receiving a message stating my card had failed. After receiving this message numerous times I searched the site to find a phone number where I could speak with someone the number that was on the site was 1-800-221-1212. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Vin, he said there was an issue with the website and the flight prices were changing and that he could take the reservation for me asked for all of my information which I unfortunately gave him then told me the price has gone up $200 that I would get an email That I would need to click a confirmation link and that I may get a message from my bank and that I should reply. Yes to authorize the payment. Thankfully I did not do that. I did not feel comfortable. It did not seem right that the price went up $200 , once I received the email I did not feel comfortable confirming it my bank had already put a fraud alert on my card. I received two text messages requesting that I confirm the email and allow my bank to process the payment and then called me back when I told him I did not authorize the transaction. He proceeded to argue with me and asked me why would he be calling me and verifying all of this information, if he wasn’t legitimate I questioned him some more and he hung up on me. Text message below
Hi Ms. Xxxxx Your request is on a hold as unable to process your tickets through your card , kindly call your bank or if you are getting any message or email from visa kindly reply yes and call us back to confirm your tickets ! Regards Vin
Hope this helps someone else,

This company is 100% a scam

This company is 100% a scam. I don't know how they take over/reroute valid calls to them but they stole and lied my 80 year old mother. She called to make a reservation with Southwest and got this company instead. She gave them her information for a flight credit over almost $250 for a RT flight. They gave her a very high rate and when she said no they haggled her down and she agreed to pay an additional $160 on top of the flight credit. She gave them all her information. Then they had her respond to an email stating she would agree to the charge. When she did so they sent her a bogus confirming number. When I researched it and called the real Southwest, not surprisingly there was no reservation found. Also the same flights were available to be booked for $164 in total!! However, when we went to book the credit was gone. I contacted the company in 3 ways (phone, email and chat). I was hung up on via phone. Chat never responded. Emails were rejected by the mailboxes daemon that the email addresses were directly pulled from the Contact Us section of the faremaster.com website. We were able to put in a complaint with the credit card company but Southwest was unable to refund the used credit. So she is still out $251. Please use your judgment when something sounds like a scam. She said the representative Aiden was very angry with her when she asked questions.

Taken IN by-a Scam

Slightly after midnight Nov 23, 2022 I GOOGLED and dialed the number for SOUTHWEST AIRLINES . When I asked if this was Southwest Airlines, Benjamin Austin said "yes" that he was with Southwest and he could help me. (He wasn't, but I believed him.) Just minutes prior I had been approved online on the Southwest site for a Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa and used it to book my 1st flight. I wanted to book further legs of my trip with it however ONLY the last digits appeared on my ticket confirmation. The actual card was to be mailed to my USA address ( my friend's home) ; I was still in Israel prior to flying to the USA. I requested this agent go to the Southwest Records and retrieve the number from my confirmed reservation.FIRST RED FLAG: He asked for my reservation code and then said my flight was CANCELLED. I asked how that could be since it was JUST booked AND confirmed. He replied, "that happens sometimes,I will get you another flight, but you will need to use an alternate card since we cannot retrieve the Southhwest Card in our system." He then proceeded to get me another flight to the same destination for $100 dollars more at a better time with less layover. He was able to use the same confirmation code as the original.(Note: obviously even an non-Southwest agent can change flight numbers and payment method.) To my way of thinking that validated his affiliation with Southwest. When it came time to open the e-mail with the proposed flight there were multiple misspellings including my last name in the email heading. He said I should read through the whole thing for spelling problems, which I did and told him about them. He said that IF my (intentionally) misspelled name is in the subject line,it's okay, but to please check the spelling on the actual ticket. The hitch/anomally was that I had to click 'I ACCEPT' before the ticketing part could be opened & seen, which was a trap. He led me to believe I was just doing a spellcheck, not making a purchase. 2nd RED Flag: At one point he had difficulty getting the charge to be accepted by my banking institution. He kept asking me "Is your bank sending you a message?" and tried three times. I started to feel something was wrong and wanted to quit. We spent 3+ hours on the phone while he tried to find a flight that met my requirements to fly from El Paso to Hartford that left and arrived in the DAYtime. He ignored my objections of having my son having to get me to the airport 3 hours from his home and turn around and drive 3 hours back all on Christmas Eve and morning. 3rd RED Flag:Then he said let's try Delta Airline. I said:" I thought you were a Southwest Agent." He said, "Southwest IS a very good airline." Alarms were ringing in my head.(? DO YOU WORK FOR SWA or NOT?) His suggestions got more and more preposterous routeing me through many cities not in the line of the flight path where my cousin would be getting me in Hartford from an hour away at "2am?". Finally at 4:18 in the morning I could no longer focus on the options he was offering me. I told him :"None of these suggestions are acceptable; we will need to continue this on the morrow as I can no longer think straight. He said: " let me book this so it will be saved". I asked," and I will get 24 hours to cancel?" He said, "yes". When I hung up the charge had'nt yet been posted. A few minutes later there was a charge message from his company for a hefty $516.23. I had asked for a LOW price ticket and was willing to travel ON Christmas when fares would be lower due to less demand.
When I woke up in the morning, I was refreshed ; went to the Southwest website and booked a suitable flight for $248 that met all my requirements. I tried calling him 3 times that day, the 23rd,(4th RED FLAG:) BUT NO ONE ANSWERED THE NUMBER. I called my bank with the card on which the flight was charged and specified that I DO NOT ACCEPT this charge. The person whom I talked to said it had not come in yet. Finally I replied to his email with the charged flight amount on it. I used all caps and said it was 21 hours, since the reservation, and, still on the same date, and to CANCEL the reservation and send me a refund. I waited 3 days and the refund did not appear. I called again and the got another agent. I asked to speak with Benjamin Austin. The person said they would get a message to him. I tried a day later and got another person who did not patch me through to him but "took" another message. After 8 days of patiently waiting. I filed a dispute with my bank. They were unable to secure my refund after a lenghty try due to my clicking "I accept". It's a substantial loss for me. After reading reviews I realized FareMasters are bigtime scammers. On the other hand, the agent was courteous; and when I checked with DELTA they acknowledged my reservation. $170 of my fee goes to PCM travel agency. Delta will give me a credit for $330.

TOTAL AND COMPLETE SCAM

TOTAL AND COMPLETE SCAM. My daughter searched on Google for the American Airlines reservations number. She called the number and got this company (Fare Masters), who created the impression they were American Airlines. They tried to charge $501 just for making her reservations with AA, but luckily the credit card company flagged it and the charge did not go through. I later called the same number my daughter had called, pretending to be a new customer. I just wanted to see how they ran the scam. When I asked if it was American Airlines, they answered "this is the reservations desk." I asked again if it was American Airlines and they said "yes." I then said, "I don't think you're American Airlines, I think you're the Fare Masters. Isn't that right?" At that point they hung up on me.

This is a scam

This is a scam. The get trust by doing a legit reservation and then said they made a mistake and that the fare was actually more if I wanted it refundable. I authorized an additional $2900 for an international ticket, but then found out those funds never went to Delta Airlines, but rather in the pocket of Faremasters

Never use this company again.

I purchased a ticket for my niece on November 13, 2022 for travel between Portsmouth, NH and Punta Gorda Florida. I purchased a fare to have a small dog travel with her. When she got to the airport, the dog was not listed on the itinerary and she had to pay again for him. To return, I had to add the dog the day of her travel and pay again. I tried for almost a week to contact the agent who helped me and he never returned my calls. I also spoke several times to a person at The FareMasters office and they tried to pass this off to the agent again. They said they would email him and get him to contact him. He never did. I tried again to talk to someone to make sure the dog was on the itinerary. The last person I spoke to was supposed to be a supervisor and he said a representative from Allegiant would be calling me at 5pm on Thursday. No call. I tried to contact them again, and they would not even return my call. I would never use this company again and will never recommend them to anyone. Not sure it is a scam as I did get a ticket, but they charged me more for the dog's ticket than Allegiant does and I had to pay twice. I would like a refund, but not sure that is going to happen.

They pretended to be British Airways and did a good job at convincing me. Somehow they are hijacking calls that were meant to be for BA.

The Fare Masters, FARESHOP and PCM Travels - One Big Fraudulent Company!

The Fare Masters, which also goes by the names FARESHOP and PCM Travels, is a dishonest outfit. My husband was trying to call Delta Airlines but instead misdialed by a digit or so and called this outfit. The woman took a lot of information from us, while knowing we thought she was a Delta Airlines ticket agent, and went ahead and used our E tickets #s, which I naively and gladly gave her, to book our flights but charged on our credit card an extra $550 which we were told was for airline taxes. The "agent" was a fast talker, and although we were starting to catch on to her devious ways and asked her several times to cancel the whole trip, we so desperately wanted to rebook this 50th Anniversary trip, that when she told us to click something that gave our permission for her to charge the 550 on our credit card, I did. This woman had no scruples and preys on people who are having trouble either getting in touch with Delta Airlines or booking their flights online - elderly people like us! This company is a scam, and THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. THEY HAVE A F RATING ON BBB AND ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THAT ORGANIZATION.

I was scammed out of $1,120!

I was under the assumption that I was calling Asia Miles, but the phone number now belongs to or has been appropriated by another company, the faremasters. The number for Asia Miles was given me by a representative with my Cathay Pacific credit card. When I called it, I was led to believe that I was talking to an agent from AsiaMiles/Cathay. The agent, Cody, assisted me in getting two tickets from Boston to Hong Kong, but he was pretending to be from AsiaMiles/Cathay and even succeeded in accessing, through my gullibility, my password to Asia Miles so that he could apply my accrued miles to reduce the total cost of two tickets. I was finally told that I had to make the payment in two transactions. I was a bit confused, but I thought that this was because I was using a combination of reward miles and cash. The price quoted seemed high, and it wasn’t until later that I realized I was robbed of $1,120.10. At first I had thought that they had mistakenly secured Economy Plus tickets, but I then found that I had merely purchased Economy tickets which Cathay prices at around $980. Cody also tricked me into ignoring a fraud alert, making me think that my Chase credit card company was concerned about two debits of over $1000 in quick succession. The first transaction (to Cathay) was legitimate. The second, which I thought was also to Cathay, was actually to The Faremasters. They charged me $1,120.10 for no reason except that they are scammers.
