He is a con artist we lost over a 1,000 pound from under cover waiters from his business. We have our own business and we would never ever do this to any one. It is disgusting that one man named "Jamie reeves" real name "Frederick reeves" would do this any any body else. Disgusting that the email is sent to 15,000 people. We actually spoke to our neighbours about this and they scammed them aswell. What a coincidence...

Absolutely gutted. We had them booked for our wedding in September. Already paid out £750, luckily we haven't paid the second installment. Now we're out of pocket like many people by the looks of it. By reading it looks like this Jamie is a shiester and has done this to so many people!!

How do we get our money back? Doesn't look promising!!!

We are absolutely gutted yes received email gone into liquidation,!!!! Fuming I’ve been on company house and Jamie resigned from the company in 2018, this has been set up 3 times, Claire Louise reeves is still showing as active!!! I’ve recently been on jury service fraud case 5 months hearing, this company did much the same thing, trading standard took them to court, I’m going to contact them today

Took £1750 in full back in April, knowing full well a wind up petition was in process due to debts owed. There are also massive discrepancies between what they charge clients receiving the same service.

Just found out by Facebook that I’ve paid in full and Jamie has run off with over £1000 of mine absolutely fuming

Only just received an email today saying they have gone into liquidation, with not a lot of information either!. We paid over 2k in full. I feel for the brides and grooms who's wedding is very soon

Absouletly mortified and upset i have paid 2750 pound 4 2 singers a dj and entertainment package and have just received an email that the company is going into liquidation it was only last week they was sorting the final details for my wedding i get married in 11 weeks and now dont know what to do.

Absolutely gutted. Just received an email saying company has gone into administration I paid a lot of money on full for my wedding next month. Was really looking forward to it as the reviews prior to me booking were excellent. I am so angry right now as I don’t have the money to book anyone else

Jamie Reeves (real name Frederick Reeves) is now on his third Ltd company trading as the best singing waiters, collecting money from brides, and then folding the company…. No refunds, you will lose every penny.
He has fired all his staff, cancelled all the performers, and run off with hundreds of thousands of pounds.
He’s already set up a new Ltd company, and has tried to take money from existing bookings in the new company name (Decameron events Ltd).

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I have just paid the rest of my invoice now they have £1400 of my money. Dose anyone now if we can claim our money back???

I booked with this company last year for a wedding next month. Paid Jamie Reeves £1000 as a deal for paying up front .
Found out yesterday this company has gone into administration and he will not be refunding any money or fulfilling any bookings !
He has set up a new business on 24/4/24 as Decameron events Ltd using another family members name as director.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY OR SEND THIS MAN ANY MONEY!

Took £1000 from me in full.
Found out 2 days ago that solfan1 the name they are registered under is going into administration. No communication, mobile number is out of use. Have been told they have no intention to refund or fulfill bookings which they are still taking, now under the registered name Decameron events Ltd. Not the first time Jamie Reeves has done this!

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!

Not so much a review but more a plea and statement.

What ever you read about the company and its owner and I know this will be devastating for so many people at what should be the best time of their lives.

Please remember that the members of staff that work tirelessly behind the scenes knew nothing about this and have not been and will not be paid.

I worked for the best singing waiters up until 26th April.

My last day started normally, then all of a sudden was locked out of all systems then Jamie Reeves phoned me and said I’m fired for no reason.

I’m owed over £5,000 in wages, submitted a small claims court procedure and found out that the company (Solfan1 Ltd) has gone bankrupt, but still advertising dates! And Jamie Reeves has set up a new company called Decameron Events.

Jamie Reeves is a fraud, a liar and a man with a bad attitude, no principles, no money sense and who talks down to people and treats them like dirt. My female coworkers would call me up in tears after a call with Jamie he has no respect for anyone!

I URGENTLY WARN ALL to stay alway from a company that involves Jamie Reeves.

In the past Jamie Reeves has gone bankrupt himself and he sets up companies in his family members’ names.

This company run by Jamie Reeves have stolen £1100 from me! They logged their intention to liquidate on 08/03/2024 but put an ‘Easter sale’ out on 21/03/2024 which offered discount to those who paid in full for future dates. I paid £1100 on 04/04/2024 to them after many discussions with their employee Amanda. They have knowingly put a sale on to generate cash with the full knowledge that they wouldn’t be delivering the service! Totally disgusting and unethical behavior! Avoid this company and any company this man owns in future!

SCAM & VILE PERSON!
I worked for Mr Jamie Reeves for 4 years before I saw his true colours. He is one vile nasty man, and that is me being polite! He has now shown his true colours once again putting the company into administration. Look at both "The best singing waiters" & "Solfan1" on companies house HMRC for proof.

He treats people like dirt, gets himself in trouble then dissolves the company to start all over again. Only this time he has taken his current customers money and done a runner onto a new company called "Decameron events" not honouring the current clients bookings.
He is urging the current customers to contact the waiters themselves but not paying the waiters therefore asking the client to pay for them, even though they've already paid Jamie for the pleasure.

Jamie currently has multiple court proceedings against him and believes by dissolving the company the debt will die with it.

He swears at us staff, denies us holiday and threatens to get rid of us if we take any, he shouts at females, he charges extra expenses of fuel to the client but doesn't pay it to us singers yet pockets it for himself. I urge you all not to use his company. This cowboy needs outing!

After being treated so badly I have opened by own company growing successful, doing the utmost I can to give you the best wedding day/party/corporate event you'll ever dream of. Do not book these I paid them £1400 in Feb 2021 for this summer wedding. Ive lost everything now no redress from bank as its so long ago

Avoid, avoid! The operating company Solfan1 has gone into liquidation. If you have an outstanding booking with The Best Singing Waiters, cancel any ongoing payments now! The contracted singers are not being paid therefore will not be fulfilling engagements undertaken by The Best Singing Waiters.
No responsibility is being taken by the company to ensure bookings are honoured without extra fees applying and no refunds are being issued!! It’s not a good situation.
