Is this a serious shop with an official looking site? Placed an order. Charged me immediately. They sent a DPD courrier message (with its tracing info) 2 days after to deliver during a one hour period on that day. I left work early to receive. Didn't come. Went to its tracing info. DPD said it didn't show my name for such a delivery. How not my name if I paid Asian Cookshop with my name and address? Very upset from leaving work early and losing pay, I contacted them 3 times to cancel for a refund. No return or cancel policy whatsoever on its site you will see. To conclude, they simply didn't reply, no refund, nothing. That's a scam. Raised a claim at the bank for refund. Don't trust this site

Love this website some may think because they don't know the brands that it is inferior products but the opposite is reality my chinese and middle Eastern foods have never tasted more authentic and traditional.comparing high street branded spices to some of these spices the flavour and colour is overwhelmingly favourable to the brands I get from this website. My turkish friend ate my kebabs and curry's numerous times and since my local Asian supermarket closed and I used this website he says my food taste more like he gets at home in Turkey or when when he is in the Middle East visiting family highly rate this online shop

I got two iron kadhai some time back. The issue is probably with the quality of the iron, it keeps giving out a blackish color on the finger. I have washed it so many times and running the finger on the kadhai just after the wash still leaves a black residue on the finger. Cooking anything in the kadhai makes it quite dark/ blackish. I have stopped using it now and will not recommend.

Absolutely everything I ordered was in the box. Shipping was on time and I received updates. I ordered a U cook curry kit of curry gravy (madras) which was amaaaazing. By adding meat, water and lemon juice it was delicious. The prices are competitive and the website has a vast selection.

Delivery via Dpd was quick, but i didnt get any tracking (my fault with typo at checkout!) I emailed the asian cookshop and they managed to sort it out straight away.
Parcel was diverted to a pickup shop as couriers are only attempting once at address then leaving at shops to reduce their carbon footprint. Great idea considering the climate crisis!
I ordered a selection of indian and chinese ingredients and all were perfectly wrapped in great condition even the papadams.

Ordered from here, never got my order. Emailed them, as you cannot phone them, I was told I was not home at time of delivery, so they delivered to a shop for me to collect, and as I did not collect it, it got returned to them for a fee! I was left no calling card to say I had to collect it. I NEVER got my refund, not a penny back. Avoid at all costs!

I've ordered a couple of times now and received what I ordered ok but if your going to enquire about an order that you've made a mistake on forget any response as your on your own. It doesn't feel like your going to get any help or response despite being a customer, which is a shame as that will never build good/better business.

I ordered 6 spices from this online store and was really looking forward to receiving them. So you can imagine my disappointment when the spices arrived and on opening the box I discovered that the packaging had split and several of the spices had come out of the packets, mingled together and coated everything inside the box.
Of course these things happen, it's not the end of the world and the situation could have easily been rectified with some good customer service... but no! I have contacted The Asian Cookshop twice by email and have heard nothing back. They are totally ignoring me. It seems that once they have your money they are not concerned about any after-sales care whatsoever.
I will not be buying from them again.

I only ordered a small amount of sauces from them as I wasn’t sure of their reliability. They obviously didn’t care as the two bottles of Maggi hot & sweet tomato chilli sauce’s best before date is 2/9/22 just over two weeks and the Maggi masala chilli sauce is December 22 a bit longer granted. The other bottles weren’t too bad but I still feel as if I’ve been had over!!
Delivery was fantastic but I suppose it had to be otherwise the sauces would have been out of date before they reached me

I ordered for the first time from Asian cookshop, as the item I wanted, I didn't have time to go get.
DPD was delivering it on a certain day, so I stayed home.
At around 6pm, it was due.
Then I got a message saying delivered, with a picture of someone else's property. I went to a few addresses with the same number as me but no luck. I rang DPD, and was told the driver will pick the parcel back up and re-deliver to me.
No such luck. I contacted Asian cookshop and after alot of emails back and fourth, they knew I didn't receive it but stopped communicating with me. DPD rang me to say they are opening an investigation but not a word since. I'm now having to go through my banks disputes to get a refund. I will never order from them again, greedy!

Still waiting for 27% of my order, I've contacted five times and no reply, I've rung four times and no answer. It's strange that it's my expensive Saffron that was missing, after 4 week's I've given up and purchased somewhere else. I will not be using these scammers again!.

A great choice of products, easy to navigate website and a fast delivery service. Much better than all other Asian grocery websites I've used.

First time I have used Asian cookhouse and I have to say they are a first class company..Order place on Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday, all ingredients as asked for .. I will certainly use them again as their pricing is also excellent... the stock they have is very large and descriptive if you dont know much about the product

There was a problem sourcing one of the items on my order - I wanted it for Singapore Noodles; they let me know about this very quickly and then went out of their way to source it from elsewhere. I was extremely impressed with and very grateful for the customer service I received. I will happily use them again. Everything arrived as ordered and quickly.

They sent us the wrong item before Christmas and are now ignoring e-mails trying to rectify this. Previous reviews from others reflect that they are great when they get it right but could not seem to care less when they get it wrong. We will continue trying to sort it out.

I found the service provided by ‘The Asian Cook Shop’ excellent. Their web site is customer friendly, easy to navigate and I found everything that I wanted. My parcel arrived quickly and beautifully packed. Superb!

Ordered on bank holiday and it arrived on Thursday. Without bank hols it would have been next day delivery which is great. They used DPD which I prefer because a lot of other courier companies are so unreliable.

They have a really good selection of items and had everything I needed, the website was easy to navigate so I will definitely use them again. I like that at checkout they give you options so if they find your item/s are out of stock then you can decide what you would like them to do, refund/swap for similar etc. But none of my items were out of stock.

First Class Service.
Can't buy Pataks Pickles anywhere in Scarborough.
Very prompt service, had goods within 24 hours.
Will certainly be using again.
