You get excited, click the link, rush to the site… and instantly discover that every single thing you actually want is magically “excluded from all discounts and promotions.” Today’s text literally said, “Treat yourself to 15% off your cart!”—I clicked, nothing applied, no code, nada. Just a cart full of excluded items and the same full price staring back at me.
Stop begging for people’s phone numbers and email addresses just to send fake promos that don’t work on anything worth buying. It’s not a discount, it’s bait.

Ordered a discounted Arbor Collective complete skateboard off The House's website on the 16th of May. It came in the mail 3 days later. Like wow. And the board is quality just like the service I got. I don't even know what to say but I'm psyched on the board and had to throw up a good review to show some love, respect, and appreciation. And to say thanks!
Customer service is weak
I was recommended The House with glowing reviews. But two orders in, I'm done with them. Ordered snowpants for myself and husband on one order. First, the sizing charts were comically vague and turned out to be just wrong. Second, they shipped separately, in truly massive boxes. A pair of pants in a box as tall as I am. So we try them on and find that they are way too tight. But when we try to return them, it turns out we have to ship them seperately. Why? It was one order. My husband called them to see if there was something that could be done but nope, has to be seperate. And we have to pay for both. The House is just disappointing.

What an extremely pleasant surprise. Serena at House Nunawading brilliant. My local store 👎 but worth the trip to Nunawading. Serena is the best, most efficient, helpful and super friendly retail sales assistant I’ve had the pleasure in dealing with.
Would definately travel the 45 minutes again to shop at her store.
Awful customer service
Unfortunately, there's no option for zero stars. The customer service is awful, if you call about a return. Customers get rudely treated. I received defective bindings on Wed. I called within an hour of them being delivered. Dylan was snotty and unfriendly. Borderline belittling. He seemed to enjoy the ability to give me a hard time as I'm now stuck with defective bindings. I was eventually told I would receive a return label that same day or the next morning, which has not happened. I've called customer service, left emails, contacted them on their website and also through Facebook. Still no response. After today, I will be filing a claim with my credit card company, better business bureau and contacting every person in headquarters that I can. Please don't do business here. Backcountry has amazingly friendly, knowledgeable customer service. They will go above and beyond for their customers. I ordered everything I needed by calling Backcountry, explaining my awful experience with the house. They gave me a great discount and free next day shipping. Also free returns if necessary.

Ordered skies and bindings. I paid for expedited shipping. The order arrived 10 days after purchase and the binding are missing. I am sending the skies back and disputing the charges on my credit card. The house was a great place to order from a few years ago. I have been ordering gear from the house for several years. Something must have happened. I recommend shopping somewhere else.

They left out the worthy items and I am really angry about the snowboard gloves that were left out and one winter boots. Really what they did was bait and switch

This company is a joke, I ordered a pair of snowboard boots and they are the wrong size, they won't let me exchange them for the right size. So they took my money, and I'm left with a product I can't use. They have the correct pair and size in stock, absolutely shady and I will never order from a scam garbage company like them ever again
One star is too generous
One star is too generous. Whatever you do, do not buy someone a gift card for this store. If it doesn’t work online, there is NO USEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Online chat will tell you the problem requires ordering by phone, but no one ever picks up the phone. Basically, they steal from customers.
Not worth the headache.
First time buying was the last. Ordered a board. Two weeks goes by and didn't even get shipping info. Call today and oops! One of their wonderful workers lost the last board they had of that type!
Zero communication from them along with space head workers has only earned a rightful refund and leaving this company in the rear view. Along with a one star review.
Multiple orders
No problems with multiple orders placed for different types of ski gear. All arrived in the time stated on the shipping order. I have been using this store for about the past 7 years to buy ski equipment for my family. Never had an issue
Deceptive order practices
I ordered a pair of bindings, 2023 Burton Step Ons. I received a pair that had been used and returned, they were broken and the stickers torn from the box to hide the fact that they were an older model.

Even though FedEx lost my son's New Skateboard & wouldn't fix it, The-House Crew (Chase), was totally apologetic and offered a Brand New Board at the lower discounted rate without hesitation. While I can say I'm not much of a fan of FedEx, Chase & The-House Crew are TOP NOTCH in Service, Professionalism, and taking pride in their customers. Needless to say, The-House is now our Family Fan Favorite company for Life!
Going above and beyond!
Chase went above and beyond to help me change my shipping speed. He was able to get my package out to me in two business days. The House consistently has great customer service and is always willing to go the extra mile to make their customers satisfied. Definitely recommend purchasing from them. You will not be disappointed.

Tried ordering online, but keep getting messages they cannot process. Have no problems with any other site, as I buy online almost daily. Customer support via chat was condescending and rude. Tried calling to order, but was on hold forever, so gave up. End of January, 2023, and they claim Covid and the holiday is causing problems. Sounds like an excuse for incompetence to me. They also charge heavily for shipping, and add the disclaimer that even though you are paying for a date range to receive, you may not get it then... again... Covid. You can have excuses, or results. Not both. They clearly choose excuses.

I placed an order online on January 13 the order went through. I got a email that my order was confirmed and they will email me with the shipping. Then I called 10 days later They tell me they don’t have them in stock and they can give me a refund. Really bad service I got no email telling that they’re not in stock. The customer service I spoke with was rude and not helping at all. Will never shop there again terrible experience.

If you find yourself in this pickle-- you must persist! They will eventually answer. The seller must be the one to file the FedEx claim when your order is lost. Anxiously awaiting for the final resolution...
Disgusting customer service
Disgusting customer service. Waited for the order for a month. Couldn't call to find out what was going on. A month later, they just emailed me that the order was canceled. Refund time is 7 -14 business days!! Don't waste time, buy from competitors.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Received bindings that were all scratched and thrown into the binding box. The binding box was also ripped down the one side, and my shipping box wasn't damaged either. So after multiple, and I mean multiple, attempts to contact the company about sending them back, and receiving a replacement, I had no luck. Pretty dissatisfied in the customer service being non-existent and the fact that I received a product that looked like it went through some things before ultimately being sent to me. Also this is my third attempt at posting a review; my first never showed up. And then after trying a second time, I received a message that I've already reviewed the product..But where's my reviewe then? So then I moved over to Trust Pilot to write a review and should have checked here first, to see that many others are experiencing what I'm experiencing. Super sad and disappointed.

Paid for board and bindings and never received bindings. They literally just ROBBED me. Customer service does not exist.
