Such a disappointing visit for an end…
Such a disappointing visit for an end of Summer holiday treat. We arrived at the time requested, we were given a lane which was broken so had to move lanes. When I questioned the staff member, he said “I don’t know why you were given that lane as it is broken!”
The lane which we were moved to, the table was dirty, and sticky there was half eaten food all over the floor wherever you looked there were dirty glasses, half eaten food and empty food baskets everywhere.
We ordered drinks on the app, we waited 40/45 minutes and my husband went to ask where the drinks were as the children were getting thirsty. They eventually came and we were given paper cups as they had run out of glasses!!
A very disappointing visit, especially for how much bowling for a family 4 cost. Will not return in a hurry!

Food was not good and not enough balls
Unfortunately the food was not good - I had a chicken burger and it was nothing like the image online. It was literally a chicken patty in a dry bun - not even any sauce let alone lettuce or tomato. Given the cost this was disappointing. However it was hot so that was good.
Unfortunately the bowling ball sizes weren’t varied enough - we only had a few bowls on our lane and the racks which should be available for spare balls were empty, aside from a few 14s which were way too heavy. It meant we had to wait a long time between each turn because we were essentially sharing one ball across two lanes. Please provide more balls and regularly redistribute these across lanes.

I love going to Tenpin and I always have a great time. Other than that, had a really fun night and will definitely go again!!

Tenpin is great
Tenpin is great. It's what you expect. The only reason it got 4 stars was because there are never enough smaller balls or they are all xsmall finger holes.
Otherwise it's a good trip out and usually has some deal too

Appeared understaffed as long waits for food and drinks whether ordered on the app or directly from the bar. Staff didn’t seem very happy or enthusiastic. A real shame as we always used to love coming here for a great trip out and all round fun.

Rude staff
We chose the one pizza and bowling for 1 hour option when we booked for the bowling game. As we started the game and finished one round, the display said to visit the front staff to book additional rounds. As we went to the bar side where the front staff were, we were approached rudely by a staff member, saying that the booking session was only for one round. We tried multiple times, informing her politely that her information is wrong and what it says on the tenpin website says otherwise. All the time she reciprocated rudely to us, with a harsh tone not allowing us to finish as well. According to description, she had blue colored hair. Disappointed, we asked to see another staff member, who apologised for her, and solved the issue for us. We wasted a significant amount of time arguing with her, afterwards we were unhappy to continue our bowling session.
