Unprofessional recruitment company

Unprofessional recruitment company.

Was contacted unsolicited on LinkedIn about a contract with limited details and asked to set up time to speak, we agreed a time.

Recruiter never called me that day at all, I sent another message offering email if they couldnt call and they advised that they would "try to call tomorrow". No call or message came through that day either.

I sent my email which has been seen and ignored.

Entirely unprofessional behaviour.

Thanks for wasting my time, i'll be blocking all future requests from your company.

Almost certainly a scam

Almost certainly a scam. They string you along and perpetually add steps to your recruiting process while dangling carrots. They are not to be trusted. Also very unprofessional and without knowledge. They are a fake volume company adding numbers for hiring managers who already want to hire someone else but need fake volume for regulations.

Unethical Recruiting Practices & Privacy Violation

I was contacted by a TEKsystems recruiter regarding a position and went through their process in good faith. I was pressured to provide a professional reference, which I did — sharing only their email address. Without my knowledge or consent, the recruiter independently obtained my reference's personal phone number and called them directly.
Despite all of this, my resume was never submitted to the client. No explanation was given.
This sequence — urgently collecting references, contacting them beyond authorized channels, then failing to move the candidate forward — is consistent with using the recruiting process to mine professional networks rather than make genuine placements. I have filed a formal complaint documenting these violations.
If you are a candidate, be cautious about what contact information you share with TEKsystems recruiters. If you are a hiring organization, be aware of how they may be handling candidate and referee data.
Would not recommend.

This is the most unprofessional…

This is the most unprofessional employment agency I have ever dealt with. 3 interviews then ghost me. It only takes a minute to call somebody and say sorry you didn't get the job. Stringing along for 2 weeks then ghost. Trash agency I would never use.

Tek Systems is a fraud and scam pseudo…

Tek Systems is a fraud and scam pseudo company/website. They spam people's phones with offers of jobs reviewing products promising a return of hundreds of dollars a day, - of course that's immediately suspicious! - and try to get people's personal information, SSNs, etc.
When you ask questions, they brush you off and insist on asking for your personal information. If you keep asking questions, they stop answering.
Even their English is off. These must be scammers from China or Russia, or something similar, maybe even American, just low life hackers and scammers, but one thing is for sure: Tek Systems is a scam operation! Stay away from these criminals! Flag them as scammers/spammers and report them to the BBB and FTC!

Non communication and Completely Ignored Post-Interview.. Despite being client's top choice.

I recently had a disappointing experience with TekSystems, particularly with their representatives Tom Bower and Kristi Hewitt. Despite their promises of high-quality service, my time as a candidate for a role with LEIT was plagued by poor communication and unprofessionalism. TekSystems failed to provide me with any feedback and updates, since post-interview, and COMPLETELY IGNORED me, despite NUMEROUS attempts to reach out to both Tom Bower and Kristi Hewitt. All attempts were met with silence, leaving me without closure and contradicting direct feedback from the client, who said that I was their first choice but they were told that I was unaffordable, a point untrue, and never discussed with me at all. This experience starkly contrasts with the commitment to excellent service advertised on their website. I expected better from a company of their standing and am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and respect shown in my case.

Wolves In Sheep's Clothing

I was a candidate looking for work during and after leaving my previous employer RTI International. I noticed strange things occurring when applying for work at new employers. Things such as information mentioned during interviews were being repeated by management. The opposite also occurred with some interview panel mentioning things that were talked about while on the job. I didn't understand what was going on until sometime later. What my previous employer had done in my strong opinion was weaponize TEKsystems against me by tracking my applications for work with new companies. What they were doing was using resumes that I had given them to match with resumes that I used to apply for work on certain company websites. Whenever one applys for a job on a majority of company websites. You can upload a resume for a position(s) with that company. A resume is then parsed by an applicant tracking system (ATS). An applicant tracking system (ATS) is nothing more than software that can be used in many ways. As I mentioned it can be used to parse resumes, setup assessment test, send out job offers or rejections. Most importantly it can be used to track a candidate from initial call, to first interview, second interview to finally offer. All that was mentioned previously can be done by using unique information within a candidates resume such as phone number, email address or your physical address. So essentially a company can use this as a means to blacklist a previous or current employee. This is what happened to me, so be advised of this maybe new tactic that many employers maybe using in this post covid economy.

TEKSystems - Federal Law Violators made up of ignorant recruiters and lazy executives.

This review is based on my historical experience with TEK Systems, dating back to Nov. 2012, when TEKSystems first solicited their pseudo promises of resources, seeking information from me about my ‘goals’ and my resume. Based on their own admission, my information was recorded in TEK Systems database for future marketing purposes, some of which might include selling my contact information to spam marketing entities.

What I, as well as others in my circle of trade professionals, is that TEK Systems aren’t interested in actually placing clients in permanent positions; rather they are interested in assembling a pool of qualified candidates that they can outsource to one of the clients that they’ve somehow managed to build a relationship with. This began nearly a decade ago back in 2012 when I was contacted by “Claire Ashley” c atchley at teksystems.com was ‘phishing’ for information to build her TEK System database. Needless to say, once Claire Ashley collected my information, she was never heard from again. Two years later, another TEK Systems ‘recruiter’ (Morgan Bellin m bellin at teksystems.com) contacted me to offer me “great opportunities.” However, when challenged on the specifications of these “great opportunities,” she disappeared like a kitchen roach when the lights come on. The solicitation didn’t end there. Then one year later, I learned that Morgan Bellin had handed off my contact information to “Sam” Laughli. He too made promises of “great opportunities” and requested that I send him my ‘latest’ resume. I did, but ironically, he disappeared like a kid on a milk carton. One year later, and here comes another creepy TEK Systems ‘recruiter’ by the name of Arieon Ford a ford at teksystems.com. After asking for my ‘latest resume,’ I created a variable resume that featured another name. I have seen a steady stream of emails from recruiters referencing my planted variable name in their greeting. This is evidence that perhaps TEK Systems either sold my contact information to other spammers or so-called ‘job agencies’ OR TEK Systems had stored my information and their web security was breeched. Either is both unacceptable to my profession and my candidacy.

In October of 2021, another leech by the name of Jessica Campbell j ecampbell at teksystems.com wanted to "touch base" to see what my goals were for the year and phish for information to add to her unprotected database.

I was contacted by an inefficient HR representative named Lyndsay Hamlin who made a startling confession: She had never read the "CAM-Spam Act of 2003" and though TEKsystems are in constant violation of this law by sending spam mail disguised as 'job opportunities' which do not exist. However, Hamlin stated that "(I) don't believe we are in violation of the law." Idiot.

The common denominator that exists with all of these TEK System ‘recruiters’ aside from their ZERO % success rate of placing a professional PMP, CSM, and PMI-ACP project manager in any position, is the fact that every TEK System recruiter’s email are in violation of Federal Law. As a real estate law expert, I have studied the CAM-Spam Act of 2003 extensively and this company is in violation of the act because their recruiters do not include an ‘opt-out’ / ‘unsubscribe’ option to their solicitation, as required by the Federal Law. Failure to comply, just FYI, is a $44,000 fine per instance. Luckily here in Florida, the state has an Internet Crime Center that seeks and finds habitual violators, and fines them in accordance to US Federal Law.

I asked Jessica Campbell how does she feel working for a company that violates Federal Law and might be selling candidate’s personal information, and have a ZERO% success rate placing professional project managers like myself? Jessica silently slid back under the mangy carpet of which she came.

According to Webster’s Dictionary, a street procurer is defined as “an agent for prostitutes who collects part of their earnings. The procurer may receive this money in return for advertising services, physical protection, or for providing, and possibly monopolizing, a location where the prostitute may engage clients.” I ask, what is the difference between a street procurer and the methods of TEK Systems?

Highly UNrecommended.
