Met up with a friend for lunch/ dinner. Got a table for two and ordered. The food took a while to come but when it did , mine came first then 10 -15 mins mins later my friends food came. Couldn’t eat before her so it was cold when I started. About 1 hour or so into being at the restaurant , we were asked to leave because they said they needed the table. Yet all the people that we there before us weren’t asked to leave. The man came and spoke to us very loudly and in a very condescending tone advising we needed to leave because they need the table for other customers. We were still eating. He told us to pack our food into containers if we want. Many of the surrounding tables many of whom were there before us were staring . We were gracious paid and left . But it’s the worst and most humiliating service I’ve had in any public establishment . Fair to say never ever going there again.

Just ordered through Deliveroo…it had a 4.5 star rating out of 5!! No idea why..
I ordered lamb Karajan curry.
The lamb was very tough and the sauce very runny and bland with just a chilly after taste.
As I curry eater for over 35 years I’m not impressed. I shall definitely not order again..or trust Deliveroos reviews!

Love this place. VIsited both Leicester and BIrmingham. Wish lived nearer as missed them since lockdown. Can't wait until pandemic is over and can and visit again.

Lovely and authentic Indian food. I have visited the Birmingham branch on a few occasions and it is always a good dining experience.
The Tamatanga fries are delicious and the mint and coriander chutney is the perfect dipping sauce. I will definitely be revisiting.

However the staff that were working on Saturday were rude, heavy handed when taking away the plates at one stage a drink was knocked over as a result, for us to be told "Hardly any was spilt"

Very ignorant staff and we were made to feel very uncomfortable. Not ideal when you are spending £100 plus on food and drinks for friends.
Will not return for this reason after years of eating here.

Went to the Nottingham Branch at the Corner House, gone down hill since the original manager left. The service from the staff is poor and now they bring the food out when it suits them, so one person may get their starter and main, the other person or persons might not get there's for another 10-15 minutes or more. The service use to be great and like all great restaurants they find a way to screw it up.

Ok food, no problem there and the waiting staff were great but our Christmas work meal out was ruined by a really rude manager who didn't give us enough tables or chairs for our booking and then told us off when we moved a table to join ours so that we could all have a seat. Wont be going there again. Oh and watch out for the extra 12 percent service charge they sneak into the bill at the end.

Only down is that our drinks were late out
