Do not buy a car unseen from the Sytner Select of Bristol. I live 4.5 hours away and thought the brand/group could be trusted but apparently not. I purchased a Mercedes E class and asked all the right questions-does it have full service history, answer yes, but no it doesn't. Asked about accident damage, was told there was none, wrong, on Mercedes portal as been repaired but I'm not sure what or how much damage. It states been serviced to Sytner Select standard but my recent service highlights excessive play in the top camber ball joint which requires changing. Salesman was slow to respond to queries. Keep clear unless you can view in person

How do you truly validate 5* reviews when they are asked for whilst purchasing a card and feel pressured to provide one by the sales manager.

To then offer a 5* review and then receive such poor aftercare service.

If you can purchase a car from somewhere else I’d highly recommend that you do.

Good selection of cars. Not pushy sales team. No pressure or rush. Staff knowledgable. Easy “handover/collection”. Hannan is a competent and helpful sales team member

I have been a customer of Sytner Select Bristol since 2021. Back when this was Carshop. Since Sytner Select took over this branch the customer service had been great until this year when I came to book my car in for its annual Service and MOT. It took me over a month to finally speak to someone, as I was getting no responses from the enquiry forms, WhatsApp or leaving telephone messages. Everything appears to be automated where you cannot simply speak to an advisor directly. After a month of attempts I was finally able to get a booking, they however booked a day I had not even asked for or even confirmed with me this was suitable. After finally getting a response after informing this date did not work for me, they revised the date to the day I had requested. This was done with a month in advance to ensure my booking was made before my MOT expiry. It is now a week away from this day and they call to tell me the day is no longer available due to One mechanic being out on that day. This has caused such an inconvenience and stress as now I risk having my MOT expire.

Very friendly and helpful place to visit. Lots of options and a variety of vehicles.
Robbie and Zidah were fantastic, very knowledgeable and patient when it came to us making the right choice. They answered any questions we had with confidence and showed an abundance of knowledge. Would highly recommend Sytner select Bristol.

Don't trust the initial multipoint inspection. The brake fluid in the 2021 Audi Q5 we purchased was so old it was actually dangerous, the air con didn't work and after 9 months we still haven't received the warranty paperwork.

The "Full service history" was a lie as the car had patchy history at best and we've had to spend a lot of money putting things right. Would not recommend as they were more interested in selling the extended warranty than answering important questions. We travelled a long way to purchase the car and the whole experience was horrible.

I have just purchased a Focus ST from Sytner Select and I found dealing with Zuzanna and Jake a pleasurable experience, would highly recommend this dealership.

Excellent service, friendly, informed and polite; relaxed and enjoyable purchase.

I went to this dealer with my elderly parents who needed a small runaround, and we agreed a sales price on a Suzuki Ignis. Sales person Freya agreed it would be ready in about a week and agreed to deliver the car and collect dad’s car as part ex at the same time.
5 weeks later the car had still failed to arrive. No one rang with updates in the meantime, we had to call them, and they said they were waiting for parts, or didnt know etc. Finally, after 5 weeks, it appeared to be ready, and several pick up appointments were made - but Sytner just cancelled on the day, or on 2 occasions, just didnt show up without even a call. Throughout the process different staff gave different and often contradictory information, failed to follow up on agreements, and generally just didn’t seem bothered. It was as if they really just didn’t want to sell us the car.My parents cancelled in sheer frustration after over 5 weeks of this disrespectful treatment.
My parents found this all extremely stressful - both are dealing with very serious health issues and this has added considerable stress.
We will not be doing business with Sytner again and I do not recommend to anyone.

Lauren & Mark went over & above to look after us with our new car purchase and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The dealership had a great selection of vehicles & well worth our trip from London. Thank you so much!

Joe managed to fix and compensate everything when others in the company maganged to make the whole process a lot more difficult and overall made the rest of the transaction a lot smoother and way more enjoyable

Shocking, their multi point check is not worth the paper it’s written on. Do not buy from either Bristol or the Cardiff branches. There were multiple faults with the car that should have been picked up on the pre collection inspection. Don’t let them fob you off with the standard 3 month warranty, the law gives you a full six months from the day of purchase. Aftersales is dreadful, long delays and often no answer at all to calls or emails. Awful firm to deal with.

After a shaky start, the AI robot seemingly didn’t pass through my request for information for over 48 hours. I’d given up hope of getting any information when in stepped Lauren at Sytner in Bristol.
She apologised and immediately started answering my questions ( and I ask a lot of questions 😂). Lauren was extremely helpful and sent me a personalised video of the vehicle I was interested in.
Ultimately we didn’t conclude the deal due to the cost of delivering to Scotland from Bristol but it didn’t take away from the professional experience I received from Lauren.
If you’re looking for a vehicle in the Bristol area I’d recommend Lauren as a good starting point.

Good customer services. Only let down by the car not being fully valeted when we arrived to see it. Hannan was particularly helpful.
