Very helpful staff. They brought the car to me when I didn’t have time to get there and even gave me a lift to pick it up.

I had a really positive experience with Derby Audi. The whole process was smooth and straightforward, and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout. Communication was excellent, and I felt well looked after from the moment I arrived to collecting my new car.

Although my software update had taken longer than planned, regular updates had been provided by Jessica and the loan car helped with work commutes and hospital visits. Nothing appeared to be to much trouble for Jessica and her friendly approach makes the whole experience a lot more pleasurable.

Purchased a new car from Audi Derby. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Bayley and Paul who sold me my car were great! Great selection of cars available and to test drive. All options can be explored and payment plans.

The whole ordering process was very well managed by Bayley, who unfortunately was unavailable on collection day. However, Ethan did an excellent job in handing over the vehicle.and ensuring we were familiar with all the controls.

I recently took my Audi A4 B9 to Derby Audi for a diagnostic because I had several electrical and engine-related faults showing on OBDeleven, including an issue with the 360° camera system.

I chose Audi Derby specifically because they offered a fixed-price diagnostic rather than charging an hourly rate. Before the appointment, I prepared two written letters explaining my concerns and the faults I had identified. I left one with reception together with the keys and the second copy inside the vehicle for the technician to read, so that all the relevant information was available before the diagnostic.

The diagnostic identified a faulty water pump, confirmed that the O₂ sensor was OK, and recommended a software update. Some suspension wear was also identified.

Regarding the 360° camera, however, the issue was not confirmed as a faulty camera module. I was advised that a further two hours of diagnostic labour would be required to investigate the camera fault, at an additional cost. I was a little surprised by this, particularly as I had provided detailed written information about the issue before the diagnostic.

I was also disappointed that I was not provided with a written or itemised quotation. I was verbally advised that the repairs identified so far would cost approximately £2,000, but I wasn't given a breakdown of the parts, labour, part numbers or individual costs. A more detailed quotation would have made it much easier to understand the proposed work and costs.

I was also disappointed with the condition of the interior when the car was returned. The armrest and seats had been soiled. It was raining on the day and the affected areas were wet. Erika kindly reassured me that the marks had already been present before the vehicle arrived and demonstrated this by using a dry paper sheet on the affected area.

I took photographs of the affected areas while they were wet, as well as photographs after the seats had dried, when the discolouration remained visible. I was subsequently offered cleaning when I returned regarding the 360° camera issue, which I appreciated, although the seats were ultimately not cleaned.

I have therefore decided to put the repairs on hold for the moment and obtain an independent quotation before proceeding.

Overall, I found the diagnostic findings useful and appreciated the assistance provided, but I feel the experience could have been better. For a potential repair cost of around £2,000, I would have appreciated more detailed written information about the proposed work and costs, as well as clearer communication about which issues had been confirmed and which still required further investigation. I would also have appreciated the interior being returned in the same condition as when the vehicle was handed over.

They loaned me a beautiful hire car .
I'm deciding wether to take out another service plan as mine is coming to the end.
There's only 1 thing i can pick fault with is that my service indicator has not been reset, so I'm going to have to drive back over(an hour round trip)
Or pay for a local garage to do it for me abit annoying & just abit disappointed.
