Do not trust this company with your child's swimming journey.

We had been a repeat customer for a number of terms. You have to prepay months in advance which we did. When it came to the end of one term they simply gave our weekend slot away, even though we had already paid, and told us we could have weekday slots (which we can't do). When I complained about this they have done nothing, not even apologised or provided a refund.

Federico, the swimming instructor, was great and built trust and a good relationship with an initially reluctant 4 year old, whose swimming came on leaps and bounds and by the end enjoyed the lessons a great deal, and was upset not to be able to continue. He is blameless and I would give him 5 stars but Swimming Nature itself cannot be trusted.

At first I was extremely happy with Swimming Nature. My son has progressed well and there was reasonable communication. Over the last year, the communication has become appalling. There is often no response and delayed response to WhatsApp, Email and phone calls. There has been no communication about multiple changes to the regular swimming teacher, with new teachers appearing and taking classes. Swimming Nature lost the contract for the venue (Bannatyne Chingford), the only communication about this had been an email, with minimal notice. Despite calling and trying to speak to manager, I have not had a proper follow up regarding my concerns (and my remaining credit that I did not have the opportunity to use). Also despite my son achieving multiple stages, only a couple of badges have been given to him. I feel that since the payment has changed to a regular subscription, the level of customer service has been significantly declined.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I have been trying to get a refund from this company since November. Despite almost daily contact, they do not engage and give a different excuse every time to why they still have not responded.

Following a year of very successful lessons with the company, something changed in September 2025 and they are unable to hold on to staff, meaning teacher changes almost week. With a daughter with SEN issues, we made it clear this could not continue. Dispite reassurances there would be no further changes when we made a further payment, the changes persisted. I cannot get anyone to engage with me, despite them owning me £2,500 and numerous unused credits from when they cancelled lessons, did not have an appropriate teacher or the pool was deemed too cold.

Do not use this company - there are others far better.

Ioan is an excellent teacher. He has taught three of my girls and all of them have progressed very quickly.

Konstantin is the best swimming instructor our son has had over the past six years! He delivers quick progress with a friendly, encouraging approach. Highly recommended!

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Swimming Nature. The instructors are wonderful, patient, and clearly very skilled at working with young children. A special mention has to go to Laura, who has been absolutely brilliant with our three-year-old son.

He thoroughly enjoys his classes and looks forward to them each week, which says everything. Laura makes the lessons fun, engaging, and confidence-building, and we’ve seen such positive progress already. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend Swimming Nature to other parents.

Constantin is a great teacher, he is engaging, funny and knows how to gently challenge the children. My son loves his classes, and in two months he has made substantial progress.

Extremely happy with Ruben and we can't wait to continue on progress with him.

We couldn’t love our son’s swim instructor, Ioan, more. He always gets the best out of the kids and the sessions are fun, fun, fun. He’s a tremendous teacher.

WOW WOW WOW! ROBERTO, FROM BANNATYNE, CHINGFORD, IS AMAZING! 5 stars all the way. He teaches my twins, every week. They went from total beginner to excellent in under a month! He is INCREDIBLE. Kids have so much which has made their learning to swim, very quick indeed as it's so exciting. Reberto, is an excellent instructor, friendly, super calm, inventive and always goes the extra mile. FANTASTIC ! 10/10.

My daughter has been swimming with Thomas for the last two years. Thomas is enthusiastic, kind and super energetic ! My daughter looks forward to his lessons every week.

As you are forced to give 1 star I have given this, however if no stars were an option I would have.

This swim school is a joke, cancels classes at the last minute consistently, every week is a different teacher and doesn’t refund for missed classes, and instead expects you to make them up but offers no available slots to make them up. Stay as far away as possible.

The worst and most unfriendliest customer service

Sudden change of coach, cancellation at last minute, and non-reply of refund request within calm period. It is totally a scam. Avoid it at every cost.

I have honestly had the absolute worst experience with Swimming Nature. I booked a block of adult classes and after the first lesson the rest were cancelled because the teacher found the aqua aerobic class too distracting. No alternative could be found but they are still not issuing a refund. It’s been a month of waiting and nothing. I’m honestly thinking this is scam especially when reading other reviews and now having spoken to some others about their experience. Would definitely avoid using.

The swimming teacher was very good but the customer service is appalling! I had a course of 8 adult swimming lessons booked but due to car accident the teacher couldn’t make one lesson. Since 17 June, I have been waiting for Swimming Nature to reschedule the lesson or give me a refund. They have done neither and have totally ignored all my messages. I would advise future customers to pay by credit card so that in the event of a dispute the card company can withhold payment.

My son has improved immensely since starting at swimming nature. Teresa his teacher has been amazing and is so good with him.

Generally the instructors are good. Ana has been terrific. The pool facilities at Grove Park Bannatyne are poor (especially the men's changing room).

Customer Service experience is generally terrible. Long wait times on the phone (average 30 minutes). WhatsApp communication is limited.

Best swimming lessons with the best swimming teacher- THOMAS!! Given my son skills and confidence in just a few lessons and my son looks forward to each lesson! Cannot recommend enough! Huge thanks to Thomas of Nuffield Health -Hendon, from Yaakov

Absolutely terrible. I signed up at the beginning of May, they cancelled 5 out of 8 of my daughter’s weekly swimming lessons by text message only within 2-3 hours notice of each class starting. They have continued to take my monthly direct debits and have now suspended all future classes. I have had no contact with regards to the substantial refund I am owed, my emails have been ignored and it takes a very long time to get through to anyone on the phone. This was in Banbury.

Teresa has done great job at building my daughter's confifidence in the water. Thank you!
