Great value, delivered before needed them, lovely message and great communication. Will use again for more hiking hopefully!

I’ve tried to spread my business around, recently I’ve purchased a bag from these guys.
Now I first searched for the bag onset, set my search to Australian businesses, then played the best price search.

Now, yes, I’ve never had an issues with the customer service or their prices but to be fixed to one business is unfair to your pockets, where one might get better prices or to deprive other Australian businesses of my purchases.

Now, this business has again had the best price and based on my past purchases; one of the most complete, consistent and reliable retailers.

Ordered a Blackthorn walking staff,
3rd time out the top fell off.
Contacted the company multiple times. No reply to any of the communications.
Customer service useless.
Suggest you buy your goods elsewhere that do have decent customer service and deserve your patronage. I now own a very expensive and useless stick.

I had an international order with Survival Supplies Australia and due to current shipping issues the order needed to be refunded. They processed the full refund right away, and when there was a small currency exchange rate difference they even sent me the difference via PayPal so I wasn’t out of pocket at all. Really impressed with the honesty and customer service. Thank you SSA.

I purchased a Railway spike knife the blade was about half the length specified and it was totally useless as a knife. It cost me time and petrol to travel to a post office to return it, they did tell me they don’t check the items before posting, it’s also made in Pakistan I was told by them so much for being made in the USA as it was the only reason I bought it. They sell junk and I wouldn’t trust them

This is the 1st time I've purchased an item from SSA. I live in QLD & as a general rule I usually only purchase items from QLD or NSW companies so I was a bit hesitant to order an item from a company located in WA.
The initial reason I decided to order from SSA was purely based on the price difference of the item, as SSA were advertising it for $60 less than a QLD based company. What a great decision it turned out to be. The exceptional & personalised customer service SSA provided is without doubt the best I've experienced from any company/business ever. Plus, the delivery time frame was great. I chose the express post option & received my order in 2 days (the minimum shipping/postage time frame for the QLD company was 7-10 days).
The item I ordered was exactly as described on the SSA website & arrived in perfect condition.

I'm so impressed with SSA that I've been recommending them to all my friends, which is something I've never done before for a business outside of QLD. I'm one very satisfied customer & will definitely be purchasing more items from SSA. In fact SSA is now my 1st choice for future purchases.

I was a bit suspicious of seeing a company with only 5 star ratings, and price points that were more than competitive, but gave them a chance, and have to say they completely deserve this rating having now ordered twice from them, experiencing the same 5 star service, with personal notes from Alan, which is unheard of. Have to completely recommend these guys on best of breed products, plus the awesome personal touch we just don’t see these days.

Retired, I was looking for an interest and found outdoors was the way to go. The myriad of suppliers offering inexpensive (and doubtful longevity) products was bewildering. I have found SSA to be 'on the ball' in every way. Quality - High, Pricing - reasonable, Service - no longer common in Australia, helpfulness and genuine concern - refreshing. I'll stay with SSA

I had a problem because of MY incompetence. I put the wrong address etc (God know why?) Emailed and got a reply immediately from the lovely Jan. She fixed everything and re-sent straight away. Unbelievable service. My items arrived today. Thankyou very much..

I have been buying from Survival Supplies Australia for years now because of the outstanding customer service experience they deliver every time. Some of the stand outs for me are: always great prices compared to other suppliers (one time by over $100.00) / “if you can place it in your cart then we have it in stock” / the huge range of products / the website is a breeze and so is the check-out process. Delivery for me to the south coast NSW is never longer than a week and when you make a purchase you will see in your package the level of personal attention they provide. Just today I inquired about the Pathfinder Canteen Cooking Helikon Kit and if I could swap out one of the advertised colours for a different colour. Within 30 minutes the combo was on their website, they had provided me with a stock code to look it up and I had the order placed. Try getting that sort of service from other suppliers. I honestly can’t praise this company enough, give them a go and see for yourself because you won’t be sorry.
