Yvonne was my rock throughout my divorce. From the very beginning, she made what felt like an overwhelming and lonely process so much more manageable.

Utter shambles from start t finish
A divorce that was advised would take 6-12 months took 3 years! They do NOT know how to manage a difficult spouse, as they just give in to adjournment after adjournment so the spouse can go on holidays and causes delay etc. As for money, well, I cannot even say here how much this has cost me, a senior pensioner. They advise to get credit cards, borrow money from family and friends then when they can see you have some funds, it's like they just want to ensure they utilise as much of it as possible. Over communication, unwarranted communication, they call you but don't tell you how much that call is going to cost you. Getting barristers that are extremely costly, but no results.
There is too much to mention here, however, if your divorce is simple I am sure they can help you. Don't even bother if things are going to be difficult, promises that just don't pan out as even on my last court date they were asking for yet another adjournment which would bankrupt me. Thank God the judge that day had cancellations and decided that enough was enough as the spouse was on yet another holiday and didn't bother to turn up or be represented in court. So many people involved in the case, emails copied in to people who you do not know and have not been advised of. And all they tell you when you ask is...they're learning. Yes they did learn, they got promoted while you were still at a standstill!
I complained and requested some funds to be refunded and got a minimum, and that is because I had other things going on in my life that I could not take this further.
I felt totally unrepresented and not listened to by this company and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone going through such a traumatic time in their life.

I cannot thank Lauren Gauld and Yvonne Taiwo at Stowe Family Law Chelmsford enough for their support throughout my family law matter.
From the outset, both Lauren and Yvonne were professional, approachable and genuinely caring. Family law matters can be incredibly stressful and emotional, but they guided me through every stage of the process with patience, empathy and expertise. Helpful initial meeting
Before deciding whether to proceed with using Stowe Family Law to represent me I decided to take up their offer of a one time fixed-fee initial meeting with a qualified lawyer to discuss the specifics of my case. I found this to be a very useful way of deciding what to do next. The lawyer I spoke to was Beth Duffy and she was very informative and helpful.
