Nearly a year after completing my two year course and my certificate has never arrived. This course was completed as part of an animal boarding license hence my frustration at never receiving the qualification. This was not cheap, a couple of thousand pounds and essential that I complete it. I have contacted the company / college several time who blame outside verification - this is not good enough and I am sorry Stonebridge college I can not recommend you to anyone as they risk never getting their qualification. It would be zero stars was there that option. This affects my business and license going forward. A year and still no outside verification is not acceptable.
I have needed countless extensions for one of the units due to work commitments and lack of time to study. Any time I have contacted them they have been understanding and allowed me extra time.

I must say that Stonebridge have been great and very helpful throughout my course. Flexible delivery of the course was a plus as it allowed me to complete my assignments while working and taking care of my family. I would personally like to recommend this course to anybody who wants to progress into University. It is one of the best things that you can do for your future and you will not regret it. Special thanks to Andrew for all the help with getting my certificate sent out!
Beware of Learn Direct. They are part of the notoriously well known Stonebridge Associated Colleges group of companies to now include Animal Courses Direct. Please do your due diligence before enrolling onto this course. Stonebridge Associated Colleges are very well known for their scams and unacceptable behaviour. I know that you will thank me later. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you. Move on and enrol with a college that won’t drain your bank account until it is dry.

I studied with Stonebridge College which is part of Learn Direct. I finished my Level 3 Forest School Leaders course successfully on the 28th of August 2023. It's is now June 15th 2024 & I have not received the certificate for my course, which has really held my career back & had a huge effect on my health. I placed a formal complaint with Stonebridge & Learn Direct at the end of January 2024. I was told at the end of February 2024 that due to an 'error' Stonebridge would now be registering me with the awarding body SEG for my certificate. Registration with the awarding body should have been done prior to me completing my course & not 5 months after I completed the course!!! This has made no difference whatsoever. I have still received no further support to help me & it is now June 2024! Everytime I call or email, I just get told to keep waiting. The complaints department at Stonebridge College have also now blocked my email address from emailing them, as I now get a send error saying access denied when I try to enquire upon the whereabouts of my certificate. I need this certificate for my job so I cannot & will not let this issue go! I have no choice now but to input a formal complaint to OFQUAL & Trading Standards using all my emails with both of these 'colleges' as evidence. All I want is the certificate I worked hard to achieve & also paid a lot of money for, how hard is that? My advice to anyone considering studying with either Stonebridge College or Learn Direct is NO WAY! Since my experience I have found so many other people on social media that have also not received certificates for courses they have completed. So many people that we should actually all work together & bring about a class action lawsuit against these two 'colleges'. Absolutely shocking experience, so stay well away from these 'colleges'!
I enrolled in functional skills level 2 maths and English. When I signed up they did tell me how long the course was. No one messaged me at all through out the course and when I wanted to take the assessment before the exam, they told me couldn’t as the course has finished. Wasted £800 on nothing and they didn’t contacted me at all 😡😡😡
Asked about changing my password, getting into quite a muddle. Andrew Stean helped me and changed it . Now I don't have to cart my laptop when I visit clients for Marie Curie, rather heavy !

My 14 son was enrolled for the 23-24 to 24/25 gcse course including exams this place is a waste of money before you think about joining this place look at there web site offers to get you to join but know we’re on the web site to cancel or change your mind when you find and you will find out what a waste of money this place is a place of leaning even on line should be about the person not the money and this place is just about taking your money when you do email to cancel or phone to cancel you get passed from pillar to post you go round and round no one is interested becouse you want to cancel I have had to open a section 73 with my credit card company thank god I used my credit card and not a debit card and I have also reported this group to the trading standards like I said before how 14 year old joined not me he just used my credit card we never received a contract or even a digital one so yes my 14 year old after we put the claim in with the card company and contacted trading standards after months of emailing and ringing this college all they do is fob you off with we can’t talk to you as it’s data protection with the 14 signed up but my card is dad used they instead start sending letters from U.K. search to your 14 year old demanding payment for a course that is not fit for purpose and that we have been trying to cancel from week two of the course so please if you are reading this please don’t be us or how child and go some were else like we did months ago
DO NOT USE AT ALL YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED as you can see by the response of Stonebridge they do not care they say they do but they don’t I put my sons unique student number so they know who I am talking about but do they email me or ring me no they don’t they post on here about payment options so just proof my point it’s just about the money to them it is just ok that I am in a situation that I do have the money to pay for another college for my child to which I am doing and my other child studied with the Oxford home school course which I would highly recommend so unlike others who are looking at a home course I am not new to this like I said before I have now cancelled my credit card d d and the credit company are paying my money back by way of section 73 and the trading standard are in receipt of all the emails and taped conversations I have had with Stonebridge college they do not think about the person all they want is your money and I think they make that clear in there response
STAY WAY CLEAR DO NOT SIGN YOUR CHILD WITH THEM GO ANY WERE ELSE THEN HERE

I have done my Childcare and education course from Stonebridge college and what I love the most is there is no deadlines, you can complete the course at your own pace. My tuitor Alison Brown was so motivating and encouraged me to keep going by her positive feedback. Thank you to the entire team for helping me to complete my course and get qualified.

Terrible, avoid. No communication and a very poor tutor. Even had feedback meant for someone else.
I felt there was absolutely no support until I did my practical where I could actually learn something.
Never waste my money like that again.

Don’t Trust them it’s is fake college,they will never send you a certificate,at the end of the course they keep saying your assignment has not been completed despite the fact that the teacher passed all my assignments ,when I contacted them they told me that my last assignment not completed after I have sent everything single documents and paper work back to them still waiting for their response, I have done teaching assistant last two years ago still waiting for my certificate after two years,if you are looking for online courses please go to some were else don’t waste money and your time here.

I registered for a course in the past (quite a few years ago) and was told at the time that courses never expire. I had to take a break from my studies for personal reasons and returned to find that the course had been removed from my Portal.
It took me three weeks of being pushed from pillar to post on three different live chat platforms to be told that as I did not inform them that I was taking a break, I had to pay £40 to reactivate the course to complete it. Never mind that not once was I sent an email to ask if I was planning to complete the course or to inform me that the course would be removed soon etc.
Whichever live chat platform you go to, you are told to call the Customer Service number and then are on hold for ages as they are clearly short-staffed in the call center.
When I finally gave up (after weeks of being given the runaround) and agreed to pay the £40 (again the only way to pay was to call and spend 20 minutes on hold), I was sent login details only to see that another course I purchased was still there and available, even though I stopped it much longer than the course I was being made to pay to reactivate for inactivity!!!
Talk about moving the goalposts and saying whatever suit you in the moment!
The only person who was actually helpful in this entire fiasco was Ben on Live Chat. He actually made an effort to get to the bottom of what was going on and then was restricted by his own systems when he couldn't take the payment and instead had to ask me to call the Customer Service 'not-so-hotline'.
Dear Stonebridge...Don't tell people that your courses do not expire (check out their FAQs - it says it in black and white) and then proceed to remove courses without so much as a single email notification to your student. Staying silent and then trying to enforce a restart fee is a pretty dirty trick and only reflects on you.
I will finish the course I paid for, but never again! Fool me once...
